Zootopia

Rides over guys, hope you enjoyed the discussion, cute OC, the great movie and the Sup Forums threads because the best times are behind us.

Here's hoping the special features on the Blue Ray release spur up GOOD discussion instead of popular drawfag circle jerks. Will you be getting the Disney store release with the lithograph or the Target release with who the fuck knows 15 minutes of bonus content?

You're more than welcome to discuss improving your art of course.

>Drawfags were pushed out of Sup Forums by hotpockets
>We are split in half of Sup Forums being discussion based and /trash/ being art based
>Sup Forums side slowly going extinct
>we will all go to trash
>we will all have to breathe the same air as the people who spam a fuckton of red rocket and bunny asshole porn
>We've been rubbed out by a couple of hotpockets

The original storyboards will NOT be included.

Blu-ray, not "Blue".

I have been wondering how they are going to innocently play out that added scene in which Judy's family visits her apartments and Nick happens to be in there with her.

There will be implications.

>we will all go to trash
/trash/ is shit. Out of character comics and gratuitous nasty porn.
I would rather visit Tumblr for stuff like Zistopia.

And part two of this comic.

Does Kung Fu Panda take place on the same planet as Zootopia?

source, please

The very popular and much liked Cartoonbrew.

>it's another don't touch my precious drawfag and comics with his fursona episode

Unless the cold blooded races died off or got segregated to all hell, it's not likely.

I'm still drawing and sharing here, mostly once a day and trying to get better.

I'll start that comic eventually.

Posting this again... before I head to the trashcan. I'll miss Sup Forums. Fucking hotpockets.

What do you mean?

I'd like to think so, assuming medieval China had more integration between mammals, reptiles and birds than Zootopia.

I also have a pet theory that Zootopia, Robin Hood and The Lion King all take place in the same universe, with Zootopia being present day, Robin Hood taking place in the middle ages, and TLK being in the distant past when animals were just beginning to communicate with one another and form coherent societies.

I like it. What inspired it?

>insects are sentient
>bugs are food in zootopia

unless we hunt them down and kill them while they are sentient and aware of pain, it's highly not likely

Didn't one of the creators say that reptiles and birds exist on different continents?

I kind of doubt the last one since in the art it showed that in the past tribes were bipedal and more human based than animal hierarchy based like LK

They didn't confirm or deny the possibility.

But really there are so many mammals that never get any attention that it isn't necessary to get birds or reptiles involved.

Only a mantis is sentient and that's because he has Kung fu powers

I just came up with it doodling one night. The smile, though, I maybe stole from lord byron.

I want more Finnick on blueray

Maybe even deleted dancing scene with him

>it isn't necessary to get birds or reptiles involved
I'm glad you aren't working at Disney

Nah he's right. There already too many species, its more interesting when you know the bounds for the world, stopping short of the line of pure Shrek level madcap fantasy is more fun.

Never forget

I'd rather these threads just kept going unless people genuinely don't want to talk about this movie anymore at all. I always enjoy reading through what people have to say and hearing people's thoughts about Nick/Judy. As far as I'm concerned, /trash/ doesn't exist because I don't care to be forced to look at Zootopia porn just to get some decent conversation about the film, I will never go there. It's a shame people left, but whatever..I'll still keep visiting these threads daily, it's nice to talk with fans of something I enjoy.

HEY I WANT TO DRAW ZOOTOPIA ARTS TOO

Do it user and tell us about it.

Earlier today I saw a kid burst out crying after Nick got darted, had to be led out of the theater and missed the entire ending. Now he'll go on thinking that's how it ends.

The threads aren't that bad anymore. My biggest gripe is how everything gets deleted over there.

Anyway, let's talk about best ship.

well i actually just did, my original posting

Its theatrical run is less than two weeks old in Japan, we haven't even scratched the surface of quality Engrish work.

That is a cute bun with a rifle

>best ship
Sure thing.

This totally should have happened. I want to cry everytim

Looks pretty cool, there needs to be more armored Judy pics.

a woman brought her 2 fuckiing year old to a movie theater, a place of loud noises, bright lights, lots of people, and it doesn't have the mental capacity to know what the fuck is going on
that loud ass tiger jumpscare made the infant cry for a long ass time before she took her out of the theater this is like taking a fucking baby to a rollercoaster and wondering why it's head is in the shape of a fucking pill

Holy fuck is this really how parents really raise their fucking kids nowadays?

Are these kids ever going to be able to walk on their own out in the big bad world they've been sheltered from their entire lives?

I spent my four years in college perpetually shocked that most of my classmates could even take a shit without somebody holding their hand. I can't imagine any of them being able to hold a job nowadays. Jesus christ what is the world becoming

Yeah, but this kid looked more like 9-10.

That is the laziest cover...

sheesh... like could they do more than just a layered phototshop drag-and-drop of the stock art of the characters?

I'm glad it didn't.

The Target covers are variants.

George was telling us about this shit since the very beginning, and as you can see the virus has fucking spreaded, every school in america is now based off for regurgitating information and passing it off as intelligence and protecting feelings

Everyone loved it from what I saw. Even when there was the tiger jump scare, there was a scream in the audience from a small child followed by laughter. She was able to laugh it off with the others.

Welcome to all animated feature film boxart for the last... 10? 15 years at least?

Very little effort seems to go into box art / theatrical posters anymore.

I wish we got more stuff like pic related. With a bit more heart and a bit less marketing.

>kids 8 to 10 years old crying or getting scared by animals
>retarded white Christian children wondering if people can go savage
>"evil references"
>All the kids leaving before seeing a conclusion so they're forced to imagine Bad End
>"so much hurting each other"
>"someone gets bullied without helping"

I wonder what kind of people these are, Sup Forums

That looks great, but too bad that's just a movie poster. Disney used to have awesome posters, but they never made them the cover.

Fuck me, I thought I was sheltered...

Great. all the Judy x Nick shippers left to /trash/ and I'm the only faget left here.

Welp, time to die I guess.

I met somebody who won't let their kids see it because of the reviews [spoilers]they are sheltered as fuck from their feelings getting hurt or scared, hell she even won't let them watch fucking spongebob because she heard it was inappropriate or some other soccer mom bullshit like that[/spoilers]

>forgot the spoilers tag doesn't have an S

Just Ctrl+S

Hopefully, if there is a sequel, they'll allow their relationship to build upon something like this, unlike just throwing it all in at the last second.

Honestly, I prefer if it was kept ambiguous.

Then again, I also want them to not be the protagonists, but rather major side characters.

You were dead this whole time, but you didn't realize it. Now that you know the truth, you can go find peace. Or haunt this place, whatever.

The sequel will have MORE jump scares, with multiple bunnies leaping up at the screen.

...

For the longest time when I was a kid, my parents genuinely believed Spongebob was as offensive as Family Guy or South Park.

But then we actually WATCHED the show. Now we're a fucking Squarepants family.

The new episodes can definitely be kinda gross desu, at this point spongebob is a zombie corpse that's dragged itself on for so long it consists only of arms and half its head

...

I can't wait until you guys die

There was a 9 month gap of time that we saw nothing of, it could have easily led to this point by the end of the film, though. I know people's thoughts on it is that it would it have felt rushed (and believe me, I agree) if they had just suddenly gotten together after bellweather's arrest. I WAS onboard with this line of thinking and totally agreed until Rich tweeted that 9 months had passed in between the concert at the end of the film and bellweather being arrested. Nick was at the police academy training for X amount of months, sure, but it's not like it was a jail cell, either. Him and Judy would have had time to get to know each other outside of just a case related bonding before we see the next scene in the movie which is after the 9 months and him graduating to be partners with Judy.

I don't think I've ever once dated someone that had over a 9 month "build up" period of getting to know each other before we became official, that's not how it works in reality besides very specific or friend zoned / rebound cases, which are not very healthy foundations to begin with. Then again I haven't dated all that much, but most people (read: all) I've ever met that became a couple it happend a few months into knowing each other (some of these wound up married about a year or so later, too), not waiting for years and years or anything as just friends to try and see if anything is there.

Huh. That dance video with the Tanuki newscaster actor seems to have inspired people.

Who is Hotpockets?

This SECOND highest grossing Disney movie, lion king don't count because it was rereleased lik three times.

A movie with no support, good music or memorable song, how did that happen?! What was the magic ingredient?!

furries

Also basically all Disney movies released before the 80s got multiple theatrical rereleases because no VCRs yet.

>platonic

Heartwarming...yeah right.
My daughter who is 10 freaked out when she saw Nick get hit by a night howler and go savage - especially since that happened to one of our foxes a few years ago.

THEN the fox is smug and there's some sort of time limit before something bad happens???

Now she's freaking out again afraid she'll have nightmares.

I didn't read very far into the plot synopsis so I didn't realize the fox got darted...Had I known that I would have never seen it.

PG doesn't necessarily mean "good sense" or actually appropriate for sensitive kids!!!

Because talking animal movies, even bad ones, are popular. We just had not seen one this good in years.

HIGHSCHOOL
DOODLE

And we got the nicer movie, go figure.

Someone said something in the /zoo/ last night that made me think of this, so I made it.

You wound me user.

There is a mandatory Zootopia short incoming plus BD extra content and then Zootopia 2.

>dat neck fluff
Aww yeah

I thought the version from the Disney store online had the extra content?

Shouldn't you be at Applebee's?

do you have the hassle Sup Forums?

>Cool, now I can get these framed and--

>27x40" frames cost HOW much?

Make some frames, that's what I did. The most expensive part is getting the plexiglass sheet.

>Weighing down a corner with the artbook
>meanwhile mine just got delayed until June/July

>ordered 3/28
>expected by tomorrow
>not yet shipped
Goddamn it Amazon

Same here, it sucks. Some should ask one of the guys on twitter if they know anything about it being so crazy back ordered.

Walmart has simple black rim and plexi glass frames for around $18.

Not just Amazon, it's like that everywhere.

27x40", though? I went to local store and found a bunch of cheap frames, but nothing that big.

Can't wait until direct-to-BD sequels destroy everything you loved in this movie.

>Blu-ray disc with over 15 min. of content
>content includes first cuts of the film
>Target Exclusive
>mfw my nearest Target is 2 hours away

This some serious bullshit!

I love you too, user.

That sounds like what the special edition from the Disney store has, wtf?

I hate exclusive stuff. Not because I can't order it from them (idk, I'll have to hear if its worth it) but because I doubt anyone will dump that disc online to add to my raw blu-rays harddrive

order thru the target online store familia, you'll get it possibly before day one

Idk what to preorder from now. Disney store version comes with 4 lithographs, target has this thing and supposedly a poster?

And... Amazon has nothing.

Same here. The online Disney store says 30 mins of additional content, so I'm sort of confused.

Guys, if i ordered artbook for 24$ few months ago and price got increased to 36$, how much amazon will charge from me when they ship it?

I'm in the same boat, they told me it will still be $24.

24 if they ever ship for you.

You should have seen the Star Trek Into Darkness shitstorm. 6 different retailers had different bonus content.
