Because we never talk about it, let's have a late night Usagi Yojimbo storytime.

Thank you op

Anyone?

...

...

...

...

...

...

I'm here.

...

...

...

...

Oh yeah- damn I'm tired.

This is pretty good

...

...

Some user storyitmed all of it less than a year ago. It was enough to get me to buy the first two DH Saga volumes

Stan Sakai really should be seen as more of a treasure in the medium

...

I had no idea. I just picked up one of the big Dark Horse run books and I fucking love it.

...

...

...

...

It's worth being on Sup Forums again. I think my favorite side character is Inspector Ishida

...

Gotta love Kitsune and Noodles

...

...

...

...

And that finishes issue 1. Anyone want me to dump another?

Go for it

Love me some Usagi Yojimbo. Shame they don't do crossovers with Groo anymore.

...

...

Is Space Usagi any good?

...

...

You must have missed the last thread.

We've come to the consensus that Usagi is great and there's not really much to talk about. Stan uses a little more Japanese than we'd like but all in all everything's A+.

...

Kinda the Hellboy "Too good to talk about principle" I'm glad we all like it.

...

Essentially, yes.

Goodnight anons

Early Usagi was kinda ugly looking comic, even tho, i read the whole thing and it was fucking worth it.

Already?

We need more reactions of this comic.

I dumped two issues and gotta be at work at 6. Sorry man.

This was cool, thanks.

Is Grasscutter the point of not return? or in what point of the comic you can't stop reading it?

Is okey user.

...

That far in? My point of no return was like halfway through book one of the special edition

I really want Usagi to be animated even if Stan doesn't.

Problem is Samurai Jack kind of did the wandering ronin thing for Western cartoons already.

Jack is not even a samurai, where is his lord?
and i doubt that he is a ronin.

I think technically, his father would've been his lord if Aku didn't kill him.

That was fun. Feel free to post more sometime if you get the chance.

>having to coast through entire story arcs between Based Gen appearances

I can't unhear Jason Griffith.

Technically he is a ronin, since he has no lord in the future.

L-lewd

After watching a whole bunch of Japanese period movies and old samurai western films I've gained a whole new appreciation of this comic, and all the clever allusions to said movies.

It's very 90s style Usagi, plot differs a bit. Is also canon to the Senso timeline.

Can't say I asked for that particular feel, UAnon.

Technically he is the lord

Does this comic have any good girls?

Yaaay

yup

Kitsune, Chizux Tomoe Ame, Inazuma and various other one shot ones

Inazuma is pretty badass

She was doomed from the start. To be honest few years ago I actually expected Kitsune to die. I mean the whole Noodles affair was painful to watch. But she kinda went back to being her life is a game self again. She needs a little bit of character progress.

No, Kitsune must die of old age, spending her twilight years conning people with old lady schemes

Tomoe is cute.

Chizu is best girl. Whenever she appears I know it's gonna be a great story.

Can anyone storytime that new arc when, after 20 years of both existing in the comic, Chizu finally meets Kitsune? I loved how they immediately hated each other.

Used to read this as a kid.

Well she said she wanted to settle down during that talk with Gen. I guess that's out of the window.
