Does anyone know of a movie which stars a popular idol, and is set in Africa? It's supposed to be more of a wildlife documentary than a film; the director was going through issues —at the time he resented humans— so he wanted them to appear as infrequently as he could get away with. I think this film was from the late-eighties, possibly early-nineties.
If you're talking about the directors cut then i'll agree otherwise stfu its a great film
Because 13 Assassins is fucking awesome. It may not be technically be "Kino", but look at OPs comments and you can tell he just mean what are good movies from Japan. And 13 Assassins is most definitely a good movie from Japan.
Look at that fucking poster, glorious.

love exposure is my favourite kino of all time. I usually hate anything longer than a couple hours, but honestly I almost wish it was longer than 4.

>naked jap board and hair crawling upward on her
>chopped fingers playing piano
>very ominous great tone getting spooked

Sonatine is still a top 5 film for me. I haven't gotten around to watching Hana-bi yet though.

Why does Japan have the most kino posters?
Yep it was shit chungking was like one long episode of tv
Not a real movie was literally made as a side project to show off
I don't know what it is, but japanese characters look fuckin cool. Maybe I'm just a weeb and if I knew japanese I'd think a lot less of them, but they just have a presence y'know?
