I'm a CS major

>I'm a CS major

dumb self-taught

I literally hate Computer Science majors. Kaczynski had the right idea, he just wasn't ambitious enough.

That's why i'm studying IT management, too brainlet for dev.

I don't know, I suck at IT management classes worse than at CS ones

Macacos de code, right?
I'm not a CS major but I had to take a stupid Python class. It was super easy, got an A+ since I already knew how to code, and this quarter I'm tutoring the class's lab and it's pretty laborious trying to explain how to fix people's code especially with the language barrier (a large percentage of the class is chinese). 90% of the class are CS majors and whenever I ask them what they want to do they seem super aimless and just talk about how they want a stable job, with only a few even trying to make something themselves. Some of them will become cutting edge CS researchers, either in the public sector or private, some will become entrepreneurs, but most will become code monkeys.
I just don't understand why you would major in something you can learn online with just 20 minutes a day or so.

It can be pretty boring at times, specially outsourcing classes.

>anglo """computer science""" educations
literally shit
no wonder pajeets can compete with you

>tfw all of these chinks will make overwatch, leauge or minecraft rip offs and make millions of dollars

Not sure if this is a bait but you seem to suffer from dunning-kruger effect.

Sorry but there's more to cs than an intro to Python class.

The only reason they can compete is because of intensive government investment and a large (and often desperately poor) workforce. The average Indian is still quite tech-illiterate.

What do you mean? Get PhD in maths?

I've picked aircraft maintenance because I like the sounds of aircraft engines

Delete this post. I'll have you know I'm on the cutting edge of computational physics which is obviously not Python.

Great, now why Russian engine are so much noisier than western ones? I mean i've seen some F-16 flying IRL and they were pretty noisy, but then i saw some vids of Sukhoi aircraft and they were even louder and had sharper sound. Why?

300k starting job fampai

I'm not into military aircrafts, sorry.
I guess that's because there are no noise emission regulations .

>maths

The virgin CS major
The chad engineer

Reminder that the reason why everything is graduate entry now and all the engineering and other professional courses are masters level before you can even think about going into practice for yourself is that there's only so many non-shit jobs to go around and there will be less, not more of them as time goes on. Uni is a creche for middle class twenty year olds to save them from full neetdom

Matlab?

C

why does Sup Forums hate CS?

>c better than matlab in anything math or physics
lol

It is, it takes exponentially less time to compile. Matlab is just convenient if you need to do some quick brainlet analysis.

I study cs, first year and I already want to give up.

>Majoring in something you've never taken any classes in

>tfw maths undergrad

I took maths and programming classes before, I really despise computer architecture though and I've gotten really lazy lately

are you that IL2 guy?

what is more difficult CS or engineering

None STEM brainlets are pathetic.

Just stick with it. All jobs have their boring parts.

I have 2 quiz tests tomorrow and I didn't study shit so I'm probably going to fail anyway.

I am a chemical engineer and I would love to do complex programming.

I know matlab, basic c++ and latex and easy shit like this, but really complex programming? nope

>tfw major in cs minor in economics

Not only Sup Forums

data science awaits you

In what context do anglos use computer science? Is it programming and program architecture or what?

Do they count towards your final mark?

14% or something like that, no big deal. However, I have to score at least 35% otherwise I'm not going to pass it. I just stopped smoking weed after having done it for 2 years on a daily basis, can't sleep properly nor focus on learning so I feel completely hopeless.

Then give up and go do something that you like.

You are european, whatever the fuck you want to do and work with will be in much better conditions than the rest of the planet.

I'd give it a good try anyway. Weed will not help but it doesn't make you a total retard. Try to revise in a measured way rather than trying to revise everything at once.

Exercise a lot so you flush out the anxiety.
Been there, not anymoar

>bcs in ce
>dev in small company

I make money becuase of my clients but I hate my clients. I also hate sales people, fuck them. The sysadmin people are pretty cool though.

Thanks for the support, buddy, I'm obviously going to give it a shot, it might end up well for me with a little bit of luck. Anyway, that doesn't change my mindset towards this major and I'm seriously considering what said

but why?

Sup Forums contrarianism
I've seen people on this site say engineering isn't a good degree
