No, most people probably don't know what it is.

My dad used to work at an Italian restaurant some years ago where they'd give all employees a big panettone for Christmas. They're so good, I really wish it were a thing here in Norway.

Yes, we pan dulce which literally means sweet bread

we call them*

Chocolate Panetone >>>>>>>>>>>> Fruit panetone

Fucking degenerate

Panettone is on the table
And everybody's drinking moscato
Suddenly by night (BY NIGHT BY NIGHT BY NIGHT BY NIGHT)

disgusting

...

You should try the chocolate ones
we call them chocotone

I've tried pic related as well as another one with chocolate and liquor. Fuck, I need to see if I can buy one of these somewhere around here.

Oops, wrong picture.

I hope so, marzipan is missing

Looks a bit like our Christmas cake. Here people often eat it with some butter and brown cheese.

why do all your images have a dot as a filename, I see you in many threads

That cheese is so weird. It's like a mix of toffee and cheese. I can't decide should it be eaten with sweet or salty dishes. Really good anyway.

I know britfags call it "spotted dick". No idea what they meant by that.

Correct

Yeah, paneton the usual fare at new year's eve celebrations. I usually overeat on it.

No but some people do eat kulich. I doubt it is a Russian tradition though. Was probably taken from Germans. We eat kulichs on easter.
