We're still a young nation, we have to make our history

The earlier grades like 5 and 6 is primarily about abbo savages and it isn't until 7+ we learn about the history that matters. After that we primarily learn about the original explorers like samuel de Champlain and fur traders like Jacques cartier then move onto the brits savaging the french in the 7 years war. After that we kind of skip around to the war of 1812 and then confederation followed by how much ass we kicked in the first and second world wars. Most middle and early high school history is shit no matter what country you're in.
