My mom is dying. I don't really care because we've never been close. I'm going to inherit €500k-1M. Gonna buy an apartment in helsinki 200-300K. Not sure what to do with the rest of the money. Bank suggested investing in their funds hehe....

start a porn site

you should spend time with her before she dies user. you'll regret it if you don't

Ask /biz/ moron

just wait and see if there is a good project you want to invest money in.

I'm sorry user, I hope she gets well soon.

She's not lucid anymore so it's too late for anything :(

Ethereum

buy bonds

Invest in buttcoin

Other than that, hit some funds that trade in bonds. Stocks are risky, especially now that the stock market in the US has already leaped up to great heights. You never know when the next misinvestment bubble is gonna burst
At the same time, bonds survive anything. Governments always find ways to pay their denbts.

>My mom is dying
>I don't really care
Edgeland everyone

This happened to me
>estranged dad had health problems
>he wanted to talk on the phone with his three kids while he was still able to
>i pussied out and said no at the time
>procrastinated calling him
>he ends up dying of liver failure

tfw dont care about my m*Ther and she's broke as fuck and I wont get anything from her

>Invest in buttcoin
>You never know when the next misinvestment bubble is gonna burst

Thanx dude... Prolly gonna just buy another apartment and rent it out.

Index funds

you could try investing in a vacation island like Mallorca too

Invest it as follows:

(1) 15% cash (split between USD and EU)
(2) 15% bonds (US, UK, Germany, etc.)
(3) 65% equities, of which:
(a) 45% is in income fund ETFs (diversify across geographies, big/small cap
(b) 10% is in 'boring', stable stocks (ex. REITs, Canadian financials)
(c) 10% is in growth technology stocks (ex. AMZN, AAPL, GOOG, the like)
(4) 5% in hyper-speculative investments like BTC (but only BTC or ETH, not pump-and-dump cryptos)

I think you will care when she's gone

t. had that experience

Spend time with her now that's something you won't regret

Dying of what? How old?

Fucking heartless nordic people, you makes me sick

Don't fall for the bank meme, if you don't leave in the US you're just going to lose money on the investments they jew into you

Actually, real property ownership a really good option too.

If you can find some affordable commercial property (ex. corner store mall with a Subway franchise), that's an even better option than residential; it doesn't create the same frustrations as being a property manager with individual tenants (some people, especially renters, will damage your property and cause all sorts of headaches, ex. late rent). You can usually get pretty big and low-cost loans from banks for commercial property purchases too, so you can get high enough lease payments that you'll be able to buy a new property in a few years and keep adding to your portfolio.

>Invest in buttcoin

it's going to burst again in 2-3 weeks max, thats probably the worst advice in this thread

>not being a psychopath in 2017

Go spend time with your mother.
Please don't be a fool.

You only get one mother, and one father.

Don't throw away something so special that only comes once in a lifetime.

>helsinki
>200-300k
you gonna buy something pic related in Kontula?

>My mom is dying

Don't buy an apartment. Instead invest in fidget spinners.

Invest in railroads.

Heartless.

>that flag
>that post
Shouldn't you be watching a little girl get run over multiple times right about now, Zhang?

Why not. Could get 2-3 apartments there and rent them to students.

T. never been to Helsinki?

If you're gonna buy an apartment get one with an extra bedroom or two that you can rent out for free money. Invest the rest with a bank, have it pay you a monthly stipend based off interest. With something like 500k in savings it won't be much, but it'll be consistent.

see

>get one with an extra bedroom or two that you can rent out for free money

Have strangers in my home? wtf dude??

If you invest in Real Estate in Finland you'll probably break even only after 250 months

The prices in Helsinki for apartements are up about 50% in 10 years currently.
