Buddhism unironically cured my depression. But you have to commit to it, no meme Buddhism like Zen either.
Can you post a short guide or something please. I've tried meditation, and it helps a little, but only a little.

What is your buddhist routine like?
It's best to find a local Buddhist center or temple as the bhikkhus there will be able to address your personal issues with meditation. But you need to make sure you are following the five precepts and meditating for atleast an hour each day. Don't worry that you aren't progressing in your meditation or that it isn't working. You just have to do it. Mindfulness will gradually become second nature and you will begin to recognize negative thinking and rely on exercises to prevent it.

Tell me what you eat
My diet is largely unchanged. My portions are smaller on account of being mindful when I eat my meals. Eggs and toast in the mornings. A sandwich and a fruit for lunch followed by a variety of different meals that I will cook for dinner. Probably not different from the typical American diet.
I meditate atleast an hour each day and attend a service at my local center once a week.

easy steps that changed my life :
1. Stop watching porn and stop jerking off. Let the tension build inside of you.
2. Work out everyday. You gotta do it properly or it wont count.
3.Tinder. At first i thought it wouldnt work but with a bit of patience you'll eventually score tons of goals.
4.Take care of your professional career. Be sure to know what you want to do with your life. Even if you dont just try out/ apply for stuff that interest you.

I'm not sure. Faith crashed and burned. Moved onto a hobby, but it's stagnating/feels meaningless. Tried changing my exercise routine, and it helps, but only for a few hours. Relationships and friends didn't kill it, either.

They don't. They cope with the miserable life.
They go to work, 40+ years, saying to themselves each evening that they'll change something but the change never comes. They want but cannot.
It's up for debate, but in essence buddhism makes no prescriptions at all about how laypeople should live, as long as Buddhist monasteries exist in your country and receive enough donations to exist perpetually. As long as you can eventually be reincarnated as a practitioner, you are pretty much on the path.

You do it because you have to. You don't feel any better while you're doing it, most people will have no clue what's going on until it's too late. The problems don't go away, they're just ignored. For some people it works their entire life, for some it doesn't. It's worth noting though a lot of Americans in particular seem to think you're supposed to be happy 24/7. Everyone gets sad and depressed. That's okay. That's healthy. That's part of being human. Accept that and try to appreciate the few moments of happiness that come your way.

It doesn't offer trash, it offers everything. If you pick trash, support trash, and are trash, that's your fault, not capitalism's.
