Yeah I was kinda appointed by the resolution and how quickly everything was rushed, there was a lot of lead up to Malachite and the cluster which were both finished in one episode each

No. That's just Estelle getting better as a voice actor. Initially they wrote Garnet as not having many lines because they didn't want to over burden Estelle due to her not being a professional voice actor, and because they knew how important her voice is to her main career. As she grew to love the role and got better at voice acting (and you can hear her improve over time), she wanted more lines, so they gave her more. Now she speaks about as often as the other two.
