>182 minutes and 29 seconds. Rated R.

The deliverance of Cape Cinema has arrived. No compromises, no limits. Pure Enlightenment

>Snyder: Never compromise. Not even in the face of Armageddon..

ok

My body is ready.

...

I'm hype.

Fuck this 4k meme tho.

That's not going to be the actual cover right?

It fits the movie , so yeah

looks like a video game cover

>wonder Woman is front and center
>Has less than 10 minutes of screen time

One of the best capeshit out there

>Batman v Superman
>Cover has Batman, a "v" then Superman.

what?

Batman - vagina - Superman. Keep up, faggot.

oh

>Remember how we made you spend $11 and you left upset? Well, now spend $20 more and get the whole experience! We promise you won't be upset! I mean, we promised the first time, but this time we're serious!

...

182 minutes and 29 seconds of shit. They added more shit to the movie in a vain attempt to make it "better," but you can't polish a turd. Batman v Superman will still be remembered for being a terrible movie.

Why do you think is shit?

Stay mad. Im going to enjoy BvS extended cut even more than the theatrical (which was great too) and there is nothing you can do about it.

That's a little soon, isn't it?

I mean, I get why, but how long does it usually take movies to hit home media these days?

Justice League is going to be straight to video.

>>Remember how we made you spend $11 and you left upset? Well, now spend $20 more and get the whole experience! We promise you won't be upset! I mean, we promised the first time, but this time we're serious!

Joke's on you, I'm pirating it.

4 months is the average these days

Not really, standard time is 4-6 months. Heck Deadpool was released in Feb and is out now on DVD and that was only 4 months

Huh. Swore it used to be longer...

Zootopia's DVD is coming out soon too. I think with the digital push in general they are realizing that it doesn't really make sense to make people wait to own something or they will just download it and move on without paying for a copy to keep.

Shit, man. I didn't pay to watch it the first time I saw it. I'm not mad.
Alcoholic keep drinking. Drug addicts keep doing drugs. Snyder fans keep watching Snyder kino. Who am I to care one way or another about someone doing something bad to themselves?

well thats just bad

Yeah, seems like DVDs in general are an endangered species.

...

We've come a long way from the time when it took years to get a home video release. For example, Return of the Jedi was released in theaters in 1983. The VHS release of it was in 1986.

Now let's compare The Force Awakens: December 2015 theatrical release and the home video was let out April 2016.

The theatrical cut of the movie was already way too long and had multiple unnecessary scenes

Now the DVD version is even longer but is somehow supposed to be better. Lol.

Feburary to now is only 3 months which is even shorter!

It did when DVD was a new format. It was a good 6-9 months. Now they pump them out asap for maximum profit.

Because RT said so. Also according to Sup Forums law if it doesn't make a billion within 24 hours of it's premier. It's shit.

>spend
>on entertainment

My body is ready.
>fite me bro

>Batman v Superman: Dawn of Theatrical DLC

It's fucking Horse Armor all over again.

I haven't bought a movie in damn near six years but I do pay my Netflix tax like a good goy.

I wanted to see the longer version on theathers.
Oh well.

It already started with the Rogue Cut.

People liked Wonder Woman more than Batman or Superman.

all the posters for the movie were shit too

Maybe this will really be the Kingdom of Heaven of the DCEU

She was meh, she just seemed to be better because the rest of the movie was crap.

Yes, it will be because everyone unequivocally agrees that Wonder Woman is the least bad part of this movie.

...

...

Can't wait to pirate it.

If its good, I'll buy it, and I really, really hope its good. I think Snyder can do better if this has everything that he origionally intended.

That said, fuck snyder and fuck WB for letting him fuck up BvS. He can't pace his movies for shit, and whichever retard gave him the go ahead to make a 4 hour long movie is a moron.

It's beeb getting progressively faster ever since Batman back in 89, the first movie ever to be released on home video within a year of its theatrical release. It changed a lot of shit, leading to theaters carrying movies for far shorter time periods, and helping bring about the death of most second run theaters.

It did, and for the major studios it's still 3 months - that's something the theatrical chains rely on, and it's why they only show movies for around 3 months at most, so it's not really up to the studios unless they want to not get distribution in future.

However there are a number of people, especially at smaller studios, who are looking at quite radically different models of release, like having it come out streaming the same day as it releases in theaters, that kind of thing. The idea is that the old model isn't really working for anybody, but it may be that it's just not working as well as they'd like even though it's the best it could possibly be. In a couple of years we'll know.

The actual push toward that 3-month release isn't really to do with people pirating, it's to do with maximizing profits - in previous decades you had so much media and it cost so much to buy or rent (just the equipment you needed to view it cost a lot) that people were relatively frugal about spending on it, and you only released the best stuff. As time and technology progressed the barrier to entry has been lowered and so people will spend more - piracy is a factor in that, but not a great one; it's more to do with making your back catalog work for you rather than just sit on a shelf because there's no home versions of it.

Physical media is dead. Even this 4k shit is dead on arrival. Digital is the future and you know what? Y'all brought it on yourselves, fucking lending your copies of shit to other people like COMMUNISTS. Disgusting behavior. Now you can have convenience and the distributors can control what you can watch and when without the tedious and expensive lawsuits that came from installing spyware on your computers (Sony) or trying to prevent you from owning writable media (literally everybody for the past five decades).

If there's a future, it's a Weyland-Yutani FutureĀ®

You guys know directors cuts like this, even ones that are significantly longer, have been around for years right? Or do you guys not remember shit like the Lord of the Rings Extended editions and pretty much any movie with an unrated cut.

No one ever believes and treats them like they'll save the movie.

Oh please. Everyone knows Weyland-Yutani gets bought out by WalMart.

That's not the damn point. Acting like movies are doomed and going on about DLC because someone released an extended edition makes that guy look like a blind idiot that's been living under a rock since the advent of the DVD.

>movie was already 40 minutes too long
>3 hour version
only improvement i can see is that the first hour isn't an editing mess

Daredevil is remembered for being a terrible movie but the Director's Cut is much better.

Cept the problem with this film IS the Director.

I will be watching this. I liked every scene of Batman vs Superman, just not the way they were presented or displayed to me in any way.

It was kind of like reading 52, with the disjointed storylines and cycling cuts between them, but on crack and with my ex-girlfriend calling me a faggot from across the room.

>Snyder: Never compromise. Not even in the face of Armageddon..
You do realize Synder didn't write that line. Alan Moore did. Synder just adapted his comic into a movie. A movie that cut out the giant squid in act 3. Some might say he "compromised" the original narrative.

woosh

I thought it was the 15th?

>My body is ready.

this.

...

I was just thinking about how the movie needed more dream sequences.

This, not baiting.
