She'll climb out of the ground, Hun-style, and team up with the incoming Yellow Diamond forces to fight the Crystal gems.

The chasm was on an island, so she'd just end up on the ocean floor
The only viable way to reach the cluster is the hole they dug by the barn, and even with a powerful drill took 2 hours to reach, so she won't be digging her way to it either.

She has time

She is going to burst out of the ground riding the Cluster into space reverse Strangelove style.

Jasper's going to come across mini clusters and fuse with them in order to gain enough power to pop the cluster's bubble.

I think that all of the shit she's going through will eventually lead to her redemption arc. First the whole Malachite ordeal and now I bet she'll somehow end up interacting with the cluster and it'll change her views about Homeworld or such.

She's too interesting a character to abandon just like that, too much wasted potential. She'll be back.

>mfw my waifu becomes a fusion junky

Delete this

we'll see cool aunt Jasper yet

Why would she go there? Even assuming she could swim through magma (and she most likely can't), and assuming she knew where the Cluster was (and she doesn't), earthquake fissures don't go through the Earth's crust.

Gem magic

>Volcanic island with a chasm created by the birth-throws of giant crystal abomination

Nah, there's enough plot there for her to make it.

Given that in too deep was just one big anime reference, she'll probably come back damaged and deranged.
Steven will heal her.
Jasper will fuck off and explore the world.
Then she'll come back to help the crew in a time of dire need, speaking of the wonders she's experienced since she's left on her journey.

Anyone felt like that wrapped up a bit to quickly? Maybe it's just because SU episodes are shorter than most shows but I don't know I feel like more stuff shoulda happened before the conclusion granted i know its probably not the end of it but still

>Jasper
>Jesus
Just a coincidence?

Given that we now know that Watermelon Island and Gem Drill were both just giant anime references, what show do you think they'll take for inspiration for the final conclusion?
If you don't know what I'm talking about, just look at this:

This show is ruined

RUINED

RUINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

her gem will be damaged and she'll suffer the effects by becoming glitchy like Amethyst did when she cracked her gem, and one night Steven will be asleep and establish a psychic connection to her and see she's badly injured and then find her and heal her gem.

So in a billion years the shards never once knew they could talk to each other until Steven told them they could?

I think I watched 00 S1 and remember liking it, but for some reason I never watched S2.
I guess I couldn't get into it because I seemed to be missing some essential lore. S1 just didn't make any sense to me. Like, the entire premise was so weird, why did they have these robots? They were just kids in a box in space! Where did they come from?

no

more like during a bazillion they never knew what the fuck was going on

Keep this shit to one thread.

>Jasper finally joins the team
>pulls a Tigatron /Airazor
seems about right

Probably more to do with an overarching will driving action in a direction beyond "form".

>What do you think is gonna happen to Jasper?

Her gem is cracked. She'll be back, and Steven will have an episode where he debates whether or not healing her gem is the right thing to do.

They weren't even aware that there were other gems around them, all they knew was they needed to find their missing shards

I want this to be a banner.

The chances of her actually finding that one spot, with the cluster, out of the whole planet, is just silly.
My best guess is she'll probably crawl out a dirt mound with, if they want a redemption for her, a cracked gem. That'll set the stage for all sorts of turning points for her.

Were you missing half of your brain when you watched the show or what?
Because everything your wondering about is explained pretty thoroughly in the show.

Read the OP

hey it's been years, maybe I understood it back then, but I don't remember now, and it obviously didn't capture me enough to stick.
Just saying I feel like I didn't know enough about that world to contextualize the events.

especially cause it's 2 hours digging straight down, through molten peridotite.

Also, so did this episode basically confirm that gems are specifically made out of the material they're named after?

I kinda took it as a metaphor for the human condition. "Missing pieces" "filling the void" ect ect. I mean this is schmultzy crying breakfast friends after all.

Just like people right.

>the entire premise was so weird
Im not trying to defense force, but SU doesnt even come close to some shows out there.
I mean, dead leaves, super jail, paprika, squidbillies, even gurren lagann was a bit unsettling at times.
SU comes down to "Crossbreed magical boy struggles to protect the earth from encroaching alien 'gem' threats"

tfw you realize schizophrenia comes from greek for "shattered soul".

also, I really liked how it did like a web structure between the shards. Imagine if all these fragmented thoughts actually managed to form like a neural network.

I was talking about the premise of Gundam 00.
SU makes it perfectly clear how things work, 00 also had rebels and a dead leader and shit, but you never got a feeling for how the world works, so you can't really relate.

War ended 4,750 years ago, and they were too busy yelling over each other.

So how are they gonna heal the Cluster?

Was that ever a question? Are you serious?
They don't have names beyond what Gem they are, it's why there are multiple Pearls, multiple Ruby's, multiple everything.
Did you seriously think otherwise?? "Hi, my name is Pearl! I'm a Garnet! And this is Garnet, she's a Pearl!"

The implication was that the cluster didn't even start to become sentient until recently.

I always thought the gems were like gem-based computer hologram projectors or something, and the gem name was just the model, like with cars.
I mean the gems aren't JUST the gems, there has to be more.

The premise of the show in season 1 is that a scientist invented a really powerful almost endless power engine, and figured humanity was not ready for such power in their hand.

So he decided, through logic, that he should make an organization that would stay secret and develop weapons and mobile suits with the Solar Furnace Drive tech he made (which he only ever produced 5 working ones) to reach such end.

One of the weapons developed being the artificial humans that would serve to help the cause, the crazy powerful super computer called VEDA, and all the Gundams that are shown in the show.

He also froze himself in crio sleep so that when the time came and humanity was ready for his gift, he could be brought back to see it all. If you finished S1 you might remember his crio sleep body getting shot in the head, and a signal coming out of VEDA as a contingency plan, giving full throttle access to the Gundam pilot to their engine, or the so called "TRANS-AM" thing they do.

In the second season, they deal more with the topic of the artificial humans called "Innovators" (they really are Innovados or whatever, one of them says Innovator should be reserved to real humans who've transended) and how one of them has taken over VEDA and is trying to fuck Celestial Being remainder into shit.

There is something more, but what it is isn't known. It's likely it won't be explained too hard, and will just rely on suspension of disbelief. Perhaps some sort of magical "impurity" in the stone that originated in Homeworld that gives the stones life.

That's conjecture, but we know they are based on their named gyms as Amethyst is referred to as an overcooked Quartz. Amethyst being a type of Quartz, just with specific impurities. So it's possible that her being in the ground "too long" picked up impurities resulting in what she is.
Either way, it is definitely confirmed for certain, as you said, in this latest episode.

Don't worry guys, Jasper's just working on her core.

Oh shit, sorry. Boy, I sure have egg on my face now.

Kek.

It WAS question because it's silly to think they make pearls out of oyster galstones.

Nothing that will stop me, someone who does not watch this show, from fapping to her and her muscles.

Steven was the catalyst. They would've never been able to do it themselves.

You are doing God's work, user.

But does she have the patience?

I think the writers want the audience to get a moment to breathe under the false pretense that everything's coming up Crystal Gems. The two arcs may look like they have been tied up nicely as all the Crystal Gems are in a good mood after two successful major missions, but their successes are blinding them from impending threats. Malachite may be gone, but now the Crystal Gems are going to have to find Jasper all over again. Jasper has lost her the power to make her a physical threat, but she should be strategic. The cluster may be bubbled, but bubbles do pop. It could be popped by one of the early fusion experiments, plate tectonics, or even by a powerful enough sonic blast.

The story is far from over.

>Jasper has lost her the power to make her a physical threat
Peridot was tech support and managed to elude the gems for a while, even managed to sneak into the Beach House and kidnap Steven. Jasper is a battle-hardened warrior that is most likely trained in gorilla warfare and the top Quartz in the entire gem forces. The Crystal Gems are nothing to but a defenseless target to her. She will wipe them the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on that Earth, mark my fucking words.

Considering how Jasper curses Steven's name by the mere thought of him, Jasper's priority is probably defeating him. Jasper may be hellbent on repevenge, but she knows she must approach this goal with strategy. If Jasper wants to get to Steven, she's going to have to take down his wall of defenses, as in the other Crystal Gems. Jasper is fully aware she is outnumbered by the Crystal Gems, so she will need to take each member out individually & systematically.

Jasper is going to prey upon the Crystal Gems. First victim is Garnet. Jasper totally wants a rematch & it would be perfectly in line with her goals & values to get a real-one-on-one with Garnet. It will be challenging to get Garnet to split, but if she launches a surprise attack when Garnet is solo on a mission, she may be able to at least capture Sapphire. By capturing Sapphire, the Crystal Gems lose Garnet's invaluable future vision as well as their commander. Then it would be just a matter of picking the rest off one-by-one until only Steven & one other stands.

>Poeple doesn't like my shitfu on /sug/
>I should make my own thread where no one will call me a faggot for posting worst gem
Jasperfags are the fucking worst

jasper will probably come back but i honestly dont think she has any reason to even try and pop the cluster bubble.
(though if she does it'd probably be a desperate attempt to prove to herself that she isnt a failure even at the cost of her very own life)
her role in the story is most likely going to be 'lawful evil thinks theyre lawful good and will do anything to fight for whats right'
my two cents anyways

NEXT EPISODE WHEN
the hiatus left me with such a bad taste after these anticlimactic episodes

I wouldve been happier with just the leaked previews as episodes...

I think the cluster actually wanted to go haywire regardless but it will turn out one of steven's powers is to control the actions of anyone else around him and that will fuck up his psyche pretty good
is conni my friend because I forced her to? do people actually like me?
leader powers come at an expense, if only he could love like you...

may 19 (Same Old World)
may 26 (Barn Mates)
june 2 (Hit the Diamond)

thanks for the info gembro

Yeah. Jasper doesn't give a fuck about the cluster. I'm sad she's just completely lost now because it means she'll probably not come up for quite a while, but I'm assuming when she does re-emerge, it's going to be near the finale to team up with Yellow Diamond's forces. Any redemption is going to have to wait for season 3.

>>Probably gonna pop the cluster bubble

that would show that leaving a giant weapon that is going to destroy the planet alone just because it has feelings is stupid so it's not going to happen

I cant believe we know as much as we do about these episodes

Gems don't have magic powers. They just tell this Steven because he could not understand it otherwise

The Cluster's shards might not even be self-aware enough to attempt it until it was ready to emerge.

They still might not be lucid enough to think of it on their own; it was Steven who helped them come up with the idea of connecting to each other.

They also didn't have a good reason to do so at first. All they could think about was how much they wanted to find their missing pieces; they probably didn't even realize that the Cluster's body would destroy the Earth when it formed, so they wouldn't have a reason to avoid that until Steven told them.

>Hammerspace
>not magic

Auntie Vegeta must be a thing. Shits to Anime not to be so.

The shards start connecting and fusing coming out as gem persons looking kinda like Garnet did first fusion all a mix of Colors.

Earth becomes Gem Cybertron Cluster acting as their Well of Allsparks and they just gradually emerging from it.
