I don't think it really matters now. Refugee crisis ended in 2016, 2 years have gone. It didn't change anything in reality. I think support was lower in 2015, but now numbers are pretty much the same.
I think after the Brexit the countries who remained became more pro-EU as they see how the shit hit the fan in Britain. On the other hand, as you see this idea is popular mostly in a poorer countries who provide others with workforce and agricultural products. I think they hope they would receive support from the federal government if that happens. But it wouldn't happen, looking at how the various leftists, antiglobalists and right wingers are powerful in the Western Europe. No one there would like this liberal idea.
