Guardians of the Galaxy already came out.

August 11th 2017, apparently. So, we have that long to acquire enough Molotov cocktails to immolate the homes of Sony entertainment's executive board.

What if this actually ended up being the best animated movie of that year?

So, they say that there are six big movie companies:
Fox, Disney, Paramount, Universal, Sony and Warner Brothers.
With the current movie climate, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them collapsed in the upcoming decade. Sony seems to have bad idea after bad idea, I wouldn't be shocked.

how long till the Sup Forums movie comes out ?

what actor will play which board ?

Soon.

...

A cartoon based on anthropomorphic human emotions? That will never work.

imdb.com/title/tt4877122/

Wait.
What.

This is a thing now?

>now
weve known for months, hell years

Inside Out was amazing.
Fuck you.

...

You guys thinks if Ghostbusters and the other shit movies fail in the next year sony could reconsider his decisions?

>TFW imdb portrait

At least nobody can force me to see this.

It's the logical extension of the logic behind the aggressive mascot ads of the 1980's and 1990's.

>Imdb portrait for the movie

Sounds about right

...

Hasn't Sony been bleeding money left and right for all their divisions? I think the only division that has been in the black these past years has been Playstation. Even their other electronics divisions have been failing.

words like "emoji", "selfie", and "app" trigger me so hard.

...what the hell is Smosh?

Why app? It's just a harmless short word for application, so you don't have to say application in a sentence. Application has four syllables. It's kind of annoying to constantly say.

some comedy group on YouTube

Japanese electronics are tanking.

But they already did. Sure its an ancient meme no one under the age of 18 remembers but it's still a meme

They used to be the biggest channel on Youtube way back in the day, and for the period the were pretty alright. They eventually got pretty shitty and started to pander to current trends/nostalgia to try and stay relevant (DUDE REMEMBER POKEMON?), and nowadays they're barely on the radar.

We already got one (Alice in Lolerland or something)

more reminders of what a shit studio Sony is

> people were paid big money to come up with these strategies and present these slides

>Safety Not Guaranteed
>ancient meme

Holy fuck this just gave me an idea for an app which takes a selfie for you and matches your expression to an emoji. That way you can post the emoji in your txts and say "This is literally me!"

"app" was crammed down our throats by apple marketing bean counters. "program" or "software" were fine.

...

It's all true.

I kind of actually want to see this.

I mean, it's a meme, but it's a meme with a premise, you know?

Its been close to 10 years since YTMND was still relevant. In internet and meme space that is pretty old

...

No wonder; their phones are over heating pieces of shit with the memory capacity of a dead ant.

The only advantage they have is that they have a model you can literary wash in the sink when it gets dirty. And IIRC HTC and Samsung have those too...

I seriously hopes it bombs worse than the Fantastic Four.

> ten years is ancient in meme time
You know what you doing?
> ASS

Watched it yesterday, it was way more enjoyable that it had any right to be. The only meme I spotted was Rick Roll

Memecracy

set up bomb?

>Avoiding socio-political themes
Did they even try?

That's the joke, idiot.

So was I the only one who didn't like Inside Out?

Didn't the PS4 make more money than all of Nintendo combined or something?

it wasn't socio-political tho, just social commentary

>stan Lee cameo as Sup Forums

I´d love a board tan movie.

...

Yeah but Nintendo's nowhere near as big as Sony.

Sup Forums movie will never come out because no one wants to pay the royalties for getting Bane in it

Some kid with a Guy Fawkes mask will play all the characters.

Sony was aways famous by making bad decisions, since the age when they just produced media and eletronics. Playstation is the only step foward they made in history

I almost wouldn't mind a Sup Forums movie so long as Moot made some money. I mean yeah Moot is a fag who did some awful things, but on the other hand we've put him through an awful lot of shit over the years, and he's barely made any money at all off of Sup Forums.

I didn't know that was a meme but it was a pretty good movie

Former Sony exsec and Ghostbusters 2016 producer is looking to work with Zoe Quinn on a movie about the Gamergate non-issue.

Huzzah. Faux feminism for fun and profit. If that ain't a meme movie, I don't know whatbiz.

Aidan Gillen as TV

>Avoid socio-political themes

How the fuck do you make a movie like Elysium and NOT have it turn into an eat-the-rich fuckfest? Even in the version we got you wind up with nothing but hate for Jodie Foster's character and all the rest.

Does Gillen know about Baneposting? Tom Hardy knows after that one time Sup Forums crashed his AMA.

>producer is looking to work with Zoe Quinn on a movie about the Gamergate non-issue
Holy shit, you weren't joking...

maybe (pic related)

Again, it would not surprise me if Sony went under. Disney and Universal are both doing really well. FOX is doing alright, especially after Deadpool. Warner Brothers is searching for a cash cow. Paramount is...um...whatever they are doing.

Sony though is outright tanking.

Well of course they liked those parts they were the whole fucking point of the movie

Sure development costs will be huge but you will make Millions

Godspeed user

Universal went NUTS last year. Didn't they have, like, four of the five highest grossing movies of 2015? I think they made more last year than they had in the previous five combined.

Man I hope it happens. It'll be comedy gold. That Law and Order episode was the greatest thing ever.

Brianna Wu effects provided by the Jim Henson Creature Shop.

...

When a company owns the concept of "memes"
so soon

>"don't eat food kids" the movie

Is this the Sony Leaks thread?

>Tom Hardy knows after that one time Sup Forums crashed his AMA.

Feige saved us from this. He saved us all.

Jesus chirst, not even my grandpa is this out of touch

The first meme movie already came out in 2014. The Grumpy Cat movie.

They even got Aubrey Plaza to voice the damn cat.

Were there any survivors?

Step it up. That's not even the worse Spider-Man Sony email.

That was a very good movie and MAN would I sell my soul to cuddle with Aubrey Plaza

>2 billion dollars in profit

Amy Pascal is an idiot.

>They even got Aubrey Plaza to voice the damn cat
Well, I guess a cat really is fine too

I love how in all these emails Feige is very diplomatically telling these people they are stupid.

>Kevin seems offended

Can't imagine why.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smiley_(2012_film)

>that part where they all say "for the lulz" like a fucking Nazi salute

This movie is like concentrated cringe.

Whatever happened to Garfield though? In this they're saying that Andrew Garfield would be Spiderman in Civil War.

AND THIS IS ALL Sup Forums'S FAULT

Seems like Garfield staying as Spider-man was something Sony, and only Sony, wanted. Once they leaks happened I guess Feige and Marvel had a tighter grip on Sony's balls during the negotiations.

I swear, if I didn't love the Playstation I would be wishing for the slow painful death of Sony.

Garfield probably would have stayed too, but he thought ASM2 was shit and blamed the execs for cramming in too much. He badmouthed them in the press and Sony got pissed, firing him.

I'm triggered by the fact that you're referring to the entire playstation family as "the Playstation"

that and your trip make me think you're dumb

Kek

Specifically I mean the PS4. Which I love.

PS3 has run its course and Vita is dead.

Unless they sell off their profitable Playstation division as part of a liquidation of their company.

How would you like Disney's Playsation 5 along with your Disney's Marvel Studio Spider-man films?

yes no other playstation consoles existed prior to the ps3

why do I hate you so goddamn much

>emojis
>emoticons are going out of style

D,:

Why would I bring up two consoles that have been retired for a decade or two?

All I'm saying is that the video game division is the only good thing about Sony now.

>Spider-man vs The Amazing Spider-man [...] = about 2 billion profit
Sony what the fuck are you doing
How do these people even have their jobs

and all I'm saying is I hate the way you refer to the newest consoles in the playstation family as "the Playstation" when the Playstation was specifically a console released in 1995 in america
