you need the correct soldering iron to work on certain jobs. for surface mount capactors on a mobo like that, excessive heat will kill or damage them, transistors die immediately. you need specific temperatures and tiny as fuck tips along with proper ventilation so you dont poison yourself.
for custom jobs its not profitable unless there is zero alternative, like fixing daughter boards on spectrolasers or special scientific equipment.
