He who controls the Spice, controls the universe!

It's already been done twice. Leave it be.

its literally happening again

I know nothing about Dune, but Idris Elba should be the main character

here are some of my casting ideas - not sure who would make a good Paul Atreides

>Ella Purnell as Chani
>Willem Dafoe as Shaddam IV
>Amy Adams as Lady Jessica
>Lucy Boynton as Princess Irulan

Idris Elba as Shai Niggurath

...

Asa Butterfield = young paul

negroid male
ugly non-actor jewess
random jewish/white male actors

Cast him

don't say andy serkis

>Shaddam
Yeah, that name's gotta go

Liam Neeson.

Describe Paul Atreides' physical appearance

Barron Trump since he'll be God Emperor by the time they get to book 3 anyways.

this is Paul in the 80s movie. I think he is a teenager in the book.

you literally know nothing about dune, while there are spice nogs in the House Atreides books, there are not nogs in Dune, but you get Space Muslims! Also you get Space Jews in Chapterhouse Dune.

C'mon bro, it's just like Adam. Only more Sci-Fi.

James McAvoy.

Any film thats gonna bomb miserably needs this guy in it

>too patrician for the pleb hordes

Bomb? In Villeneuve we (or at least I) trust.

He's 15 at the start.
But he's supposed to have olive-ish skin, be small for his age, and dark hair and hawk like facial features.
After he becomes Fremen, he becomes a scarred skeleton.

I like it

I originally made a fancast, but this edit I found is truly 10/10

I'll show you mine if you show me yours

His fee is half a grain of sand from the filming location, and a drop of water.
The drop of water is negotiable.

He already filmed all of his scenes

here's my original shit tier cast

That was a good casting choice even though it doesn't fit the books physical description.

>no Idris elba

Yeah, not do-able, kid

i hope there is a timeskip and actor change after he goes to live with the fremen when his house is over thrown

I like everyone but Stilgar.

This is pretty kino. But shoudn't the fremen be muslim colored?

Brendan

Could be Tom holland

this, but only replace feyd-rautha with sting

Damn, that's a lot of whiteys for space iraq.

Duke Leto should be Sean Bean
is that the kid from misfits?

>implying Sean Bean shouldn't be Duncan Idaho so he can be killed a million times in God Emperor

Leto should have pretty dark features, sharp face, tall and skinny

Literally nothing like Sean Bean

Kylo Ren as feyd-reutha

Caladan and Giedi Prime aren't Zensunni sandnigger people though

Pedro Pascal as Leto I

>thinking that any of the meme books like children, messiah or god-emperor deserve adaptation

Dune ends after the first book, everything after that is nothing but trash

And im not even talking about anything that was touched by Herbert's hack of a son

Sean Gunn

>meme books
>messiah, children and god emperor

The dude that played his dad in GoT looks almost exactly like i imagine Leto I looks like

Jaden Smith as Paul

i like the Feyd casting. i just want to punch that face.

>being too much of a brainlet to get God Emperor

literally the best book in the series

not him, but Messiah was pretty meh

Woah, imagine the budget they'd have left over for effects.

The question is, should they divide the first book into 2, or even 3 movies?
>First movie ends with Paul and Jessica's exodus to the desert after Duke Leto's death
>Second movie details Paul's life among the Fremen, ends with Feyd-Rautha at the colosseum on Giesi Prime
>Third movie Paul's adulthood and war against Shaddam IV

Then you're dumb.

A lot of the casting didn't match the book, but they sunk into their roles so well that it's hard to imagine anyone else as Paul.

good argument, my dude

Messiah is the 2nd-best behind the first one pleb

God Emperor is the only reason to read the series.

Just cast hot chicks was Lady Jessica, Chani and Irulan so i can watch sexy chicks in tight latex stillsuits, i dont really care about the rest

As if your argument was any better.
The scene where Paul becomes blind makes up for anything "meh" about it.

yeah, because fucking Sting as Feyd fits it...

Jessica wears a stillsuit for a very minor part of the book, Irulan literally never.
Not that I necessarily disagree with you

pic related as Princess Irulan tb h

I didn't know Sting as Feyd-Rautha was cast as Paul in Lynch's Dune

my poiny was, that Sting as Feyd was a way worse casting

Agent Cooper as Paul wasnt that bad, aside that he was obviously too old, ive imagined Paul to be similar looking to him, but maybe skinnier, while reading the books

Barron Trump for Paul Atreides

Yup. The film definitely doesn't suck (if that's your opinion) because of Kyle.

>poiny
point*

And user's point was that Paul's casting specifically was good.
Your post was completely unrelated to his.

>even though it doesn't fit the books physical description.

im saying that, he's not that far from the physical description aside for the age, as is Sting from the physical description of Feyd-Rautha

Mom says the only reason she saw Dune when it came out was because Sting was in it.

Big Guy Duncan

he should be Gurney

Beast Rabban, desu

Got any pics of her feet?

he could play Feyd

i hope anyone involved with this movie spend the rest of eternity burning in hell fuck all of you disgusting consumeristics pieces of shit
skinning you alive wouln't be enough

calm down nigga, Dune is not some high-art, its basically a better Game of Thrones in space

I about to finish Book of the New Sun, is Dune worth picking up?

yes. jut dont read anything that was written by his son

Leslie Jones as Chani

...

Leslie Jones as a navigator

Baron Harkonnen

...

So much win !!!!

This

Kyle MacLachlan as Paul Atreides.
Directed by David Lynch.

Nah, it needs to be Alicia Witt, who played the loli in the 80s version of Dune.

Theres literally nothing wrong with the original barring weirding modules and a few dodgy matte shots. Lynch needs to stop being a baby and actually do a cut like he has been asked to instead of whining he didn't get to at the time. I think there is a great film in there somewhere.

>Know then that it is the year 10,191
The intro monologue is literally the best part of that movie.

>Amy Adams as Lady Jessica

me as lady jessica's pussy slave
