Self bump

Nothing bro. There are precious few of us who are truly successful, the rest are kinda shitty.

It takes two to tango so it's not fair to place the blame 100% on anyone, but a lot of the world turned their back on the millennial crowd.

We were raised like hippies by single mothers in a world of Reagan economics, our leaders all lied to us to get themselves more power over us and make more money off of our hilarious debts we've incurred because we were morons and trusted all of our mentors growing up and fell for the "take loan, go to school" meme.

To top it off, everyone hates us, even millenials hate millenials. Our grandparents shit on us, parents lie to us, politicians steal from us, our peer group makes fun of us, everyone is shitting in the pool, but no matter how it goes we're going to be the generation that bears all the blame.

There's nothing to look forward to, even if you get a good job and knock out that student loan debt, you aren't retiring, and in less than 20 there's a generation of boomers who need diaper changes, who's footing the bill for that one?

No fucking wonder millenials are dropping out, no wonder "90s babies remember" is the biggest normie meme, yes, we remember. We remember a time before the world foisted a heaping pile of shit into our hands and then complained we can't spin it into gold. You fucking bake a cake and then complain that you're in the mood for steak, genius.

Feels bad man. I'm ready to check out and bail. Working hard doesn't get you where it used to. What's the point if you're just gonna be replaced by mehmet and abdi

There isn't one, therefore the alt right now exists.

Killing off the old folks and taking their ss checks

Millenial uprising.
Fuck baby boomers.

Should we seize the retirement homes and kill the elderly?

No social security, no pensions, no money for 401k, crippling debt, renting not owning, and waiting for that glorious day when the last boomer dies off.

Cutting public spending in retirement pensions and healthcare should be enough.
My generation is going to shit because either you get a job and give half your earning to the state for these fuckers, either you cannot find a fucking job because of these same policies.

There's 7 billion people on earth. Even if everything else was doing great, we wouldn't have much to look forward to.

So we should start nuclear war?.

>build a nation

>you're poor, but you make ends meet so that your kids can have a stable upbringing

>killed by worthless grandchildren who refuse to work and want gibsmedats

You guys are fucking niggers. I'm really happy that my ancestors declared independence from you fags when Napoleon shoved his cock far down your throats.

That isn't going to help at all. Anything that will adversely affect agricultural yields is a terrible solution.

I hate to say it, but the globalists who are preparing us all to be obsoleted and slaughtered have the only clean solution: Make humanity so weak that they won't even resist when you turn on the automated killbots so that your jewish kikelets live as the few surviving elites on earth.

Doesn't Spain have some ridiculous unemployment right now?

The solution is forced retirement and/or euthanasia.

What age should retirement be? Should there be mandatory death at age x as well?

>Millennial uprising

I like it, let's meme it into circulation

>mandatory death

Nobody has the right to revoke life from another human being

>forcing your most experienced employees out of the workplace so that a useless kid who thinks that this is going to be high school 3.0 after he got participation ribbons in college

Hell, no.

And if you think you're gonna force death on me, I hope you're ready to die young trying.

Let me expand on myself a bit.
Average Joe: educate til 20-25, work til 60-65, retire til 75-80, then if you cannot support yourself, or no one is supporting you but the gov, euthanize.

Some ridiculous unemployment and one of the most aged populations in the fucking world.

>worthless grandchildren who refuse to work and want gibsmedats
It's actually our grandparents the ones who want gibsmedats for them at the expense of fucking up our country even more.
I do not want fucking welfare. I want to be able to earn enough by myself in order to achieve a decent live.
I want to build a Spain similar to prosperous countries, not turning it into a welfare shithole/nanny state.

>be OP
>be a neet
>my grandparents come for 3 days
>they notice my condition
>speak with my parents of this
>they said, when I will want a job?
>3 day of hell for my neet dreams
>they go
>my status quo is back
>come to Sup Forums
>....

Serious question, what does Spain have to offer other than tourism?

Not much.

Pensions imply they paid into the system. Sorry, but you're niggers.

It's even worst in France...

Old bastards put in place a system which forces the young generations to pay for their retirement and health spendings.

They grew up during three decades of full employement and cheap housing while we are stuck with shitty jobs and rental property, which are mostly owned by boomers btw, until we get old.

That's fucking insane... Do people actually believe it's likely we'll live in the same system in forty years?

>and in less than 20 there's a generation of boomers who need diaper changes

Sometimes I think this is the only reason my dad still talks to me. He wants me to be his nurse when he has spent all his retirement money on luxury cruises.

>boomers take out what they put in
Loooool

"WAAAAAH, WAAAAH! I DON'T HAVE TO SUPPORT MY PARENTS WHEN I GET OLDER BECAUSE THEY MADE ME DO CHORES!"

Food.

It is.

Seriously boomers are scum. Don't fall for that trap.

Calm down bud. Boomers took out way more than they put in

You need to be shot in the head.

Fixing the shit we're in.
Every generation remembers their youth fondly. And every younger generation gets shit on, because we have less experience. You were a fool if you went to an expensive college for a meme degree.

...

Unions are(were) ruining the country.
>has it better than his parents, and his kids
This one always makes me mad

Unions are good for the actual worker
Anyone who disagrees has never had to work.

War against Islam. I just hope I live long enough.

Our public retirement pension system work like a Ponzi scheme, and they're getting way much more that they contributed to it.
It's not a "save a portion of your earnings or invest them and get a pension", it's literally a Ponzi scheme and we are paying pensions that are way higher than our wages. It's insane. We have high qualified workers earning the same as a retired unskilled worker's pension that retired at 62.

Almost 20% of our exports are food and stuff, like said.
We also export some medicaments, some clothes and automobiles, we have some chemical and siderurgical industries as well... There are some hi-tech companies but not many since Spain is not very investors-friendly.
Our internal economy was mostly based in:
a) building apartments, and keep buying/selling them; this caused a horrendous housing bubble that made housing ultra-expensive and crashed our economy once it burst.
b) civil engineering projects funded with public spending. We have more high speed train kms than any other country in the world except for China, duplicated roadways, more airports than Germany, etc.

Death.

why not the Beta Uprising?

...

Unions are fine.

What is bullshit is "mandatory unions"

And for all the good unions have done many of the big ones are now just as bad as the "big businesses". They claim to be against

Lived by a cardboard mill, union had them get paid $23+/hr to watch cardboard go by on a belt
It shut down

That's BS... The era right after the war was by far the most prosperous my country ever knew. You didn't need any diploma to get a job, the housing was cheap, salaries were sky rocketing. We are actually taxed more than they ever were while the salaries have been stagnating for two decades.

My dad has been retired since he reached 54yo because he was a sailor in the merchant marine. Gets 2.800€ every month. Just a high school diploma. Grand parents are basically rich, had three different houses, grand pa didn't go through high school. Both my grand mother and mother never worked a day in their lives.

Both my syster and I, have college degrees. She gets 1400€ a month working in an hospital like a slave. I've lost my job last year, factory slave pretty much. I've been trying to find jobs even open to high school level, but you have 30k people showing up for a couple hundred spots, while of course a third are quotas for women.

Nothing only
>the Internet
>your PC
>your cell
>the modern Medicine
>even your unless existence

You have female quotas? Cute.
We don't need female quotas here because people are brainwashed to hire them

We have a similar situation here in Spain, but with a fucked up economy and much shittier wages.
France-Spain brotherhood in order to mutually strengthen ourselves when?

Very little.

As a generation, most of us were raised with the same kind of morals and values as our parents and grandparents: Work hard every day, be honest and play by the rules, be a good person and your efforts will be rewarded - a good job, a good home, a good wife, a good family, a good life.

The problem we face now is most of us who were raised with these beliefs now find ourselves in our 20s or 30s in a world which offers none of those things.

Any half-decent job demands a graduate degree and ten years experience upfront. There's no reason to settle for kids fresh out of school or offer on-the-job training when there are thousands of unemployed professionals champing at the bit for an entry level job. Home costs have outpaced wages over the last twenty years by nearly 300%, pushing more and more young people into a life of perpetual rental. Divorce rates are the highest they've been in modern history, half of all new marriages end in divorce within five years, two-thirds within ten. Our society has subsidized single-motherhood to the point where there's more incentive to leave a marriage at the first sign of trouble than to invest in making the marriage work. And on and on the list goes.

The reason you're seeing so many millenials dropping out or suffering from major depression is because most of us are quickly realizing we have very little to look forward to.

Odds are we'll spend the rest of our lives slaving away in unsatisfying jobs, paying off our debts and paying for the retirement of the Boomers. The Boomers will probably be the last generation to actually be guaranteed a retirement, and the other generations will blame ours for not working harder and paying our 'fair share'. A small percentage of us will luck out and find okay jobs, okay homes, okay wives, raise one or two okay kids, and have a generally okay life, but most of us won't even be that fortunate.

When my wife finally leaves me, so I can go hang myself in the woods.

Can't wait!

>trusted all of our mentors

That's the crux of it right there, helicopter parents neutered us and then told us to get the fuck out.

Everything's gone pretty smoothly for me since I stopped trusting people and went it alone.

I brought my millennial doctor to near tears the other day talking about how I figured out my triggers through reading politically incorrect commentary.
He'd never had anyone openly criticize feminism, the treatment of the modern male and how gender roles disappearing has led to nobody knowing how to be or what they want.

Why the woods? Why not in a busy children's play park?

will never own a home, will never have a good job, will never have a non-slutty wife who won't cuck and divorce you, will be working shitty minimum wage jobs until they die in their 70s (definitely never able to retire).

this will be the fate of 90% of millenials, they have NOTHING to hope for the way things are going right now.

Fuckin nailed it, bud.

Shiieeeeytttt

>what are trades

Everything. This generation is about to pave the way for a better future for this world. An influx of autism and the best means to complete problems will prepare this world for generations to come.

We have every technological advancement to implement in our everyday lives. We have nature to live alongside with instead of destroy. We have the vision of efficiency and will apply that to every single thing we do.

We are your only hope.

>unironically using the word triggers in that context

You're from a third world shithole, you have no right to post in this thread.

Of course we have. Especially in the competitive exams with physical tests. Police, Gerndarmerie, Firemen, prison guard ect...

The parliament voted a law a couple of years back which says that at least 40% of leadership jobs and senion jobs in the French Civil Service should be granted to women by 2018. Penalty per female missing appointment is 90 000 euros.

When we overthrown the government, behead the bourgeoisie and let a new emperor claim the thrown I guess. :^)

Fuck this post made me depressed. We need to enforce birth control and end child welfare soon as possible. Fuck the migrants too

I live by a plethora of factories
One is a glass bottle factory
No Union

Guy lost a finger grabbing a bottle to keep it from clogging the line so he didn't lose his job.
They fired him anyway.

Unions have a place but it's somewhat gone now, they have too much power dictating wages when they are created for safety and living wages.

And the sole and single reason was the union.

We have labor laws now. Unions are outdated, corrupt and socialist.

Guys, was there really a generational shift between the early 90s and the late 90s?

I was reading about characteristics of gen z and gen y, and I realized that maybe all the "gen y is so lazy" shit is real, and I just didn't realize it because my peers were gen Z.

My older siblings both still live at home, both smoke a lot of weed, and both have no real aspirations.

Me and my younger sister already have plans and dreams, she saves money rather than spends it already at 13 years old, and I go to school full time while working a full time job.

I used to comment on how everyone at my workplace seems to think I am a hard working employee, while I see myself as pretty lazy compared to a lot of my peers, and how that didn't line up with the gen y stereotype at all. I sometimes get applauded for doing shit that is just common courtesy while I'm working.

Is Gen Y truly the worst fucking generation, will Gen Z save the world? Find out next time.

Labor laws don't protect the workers themselves.
Without Unions companies will treat employees liker disposable scrap
Especially in an economy like this where labor is a dime a dozen and more keep flooding in.

The "Trade jobs" of today are just the new "STEM jobs" of 5-10 years ago, which were just the new "finance jobs" of 10-15 years ago and so on.

The disturbing trend seen the last 20 odd years has been the media and big companies selling everyone on the lie that there's suddenly some kind of massive shortage of workers in X field. Hundreds of thousands of desperate young people go out and go to college or trade schools or what have you, being told by the media and their peers every step of the way that you can't walk through X field without tripping and falling into a high paying job.

Then you finish your education and find out the jobs aren't there, the companies looking to expand just wanted to be able to have their pick from a hundred thousand desperate, pre-educated, pre-trained applicants.

Five, ten years from now the unemployment line is going to be full of thousands of Gen Zers who all went to fucking trade school to become plumbers and electricians, unable to get hired by major companies in the area, and unable to compete as small independent tradesmen.

I have immigrant parents who understand how stupid American boomers and their culture is, so this is all really foreign to me. I feel bad for anyone that didn't have old school foreigner parents, because I grew up getting disciplined properly, being taught how to save my money, being taught not to fall for jewish tricks about college, and finishing college with no debt because I didn't go to a big far away school for the sake of partying and I studied something I like and can make a career out of. My parents also didn't want me to move out because they wanted me to save money, and I only ever left because I found work far away from their house.

>What do millennials have to look forward to?

Getting paid $20.00 hr changing boomers diapers at old age homes.

Personal Boomer experience:
My grandfather cosigned my student loans because my parents had garbage credit/no money. After 3 semesters, he sends me an email saying he will no longer be cosigning because it is lowering his credit score. I had to drop out for a year, as I couldn't get student loans without a cosigner. Loans go into repayment due to dropped enrollment, suddenly have to pay loans for an incomplete education that doesn't help me get a job in any way. I get a job waiting tables and enroll myself into a budget school. I was 4 days late paying my loans the month that tuition was due (I was paying out of pocket). My grandfather goes ballistic on me about his credit score, and advises me to quit school and break up with my girlfriend so I can move to Alaska and work in Oil to repay my loans more quickly. He also demanded I take out a life insurance policy to cover my loans if I die because the work is dangerous.

My own blood was more interested in a number that defines what banks think of him than the outcome of my entire life. He pushed me to drop education and put my life in danger so he would get better rates on his 3rd home.

I've since finished school and put my life together. I haven't spoken to him since that day, and I will shed no tears when he dies.

Some pokemon go event, the fall of western civilization and a plastic cup of sugar coffee.

Not my word, his.

I work 40 hours a week, 12 of those goes to the government.

Jokes on them though I slack off for those 12 hours.

A GLORIOUS BLOODY CIVIL WAR!

At least we are the most insane generation ever. The ride will get even wilder and it ends to the Great Happening.

>It's not my fault I didn't bother to try to succeede it's the boomers!

watching boomers die

Where did you go wrong by spending your time on a Chinese stamp forum?

Rape

living longer and cybernetics. hopefully in our lifetimes, the average person will be able to afford being able to live to see 100 through the use of cybernetic augmentations, advances in medicine, healthy habits, good nutrition and regular exercise.

The global recession was at its worst just before gen y was entering the job market. It fucked it all up. We probably started optimistic, but then the recession curb stomped us. In 2010 youth unemployment in the UK was at almost 20% and many who had jobs were on low hour contracts in menial work.

Gen z arrived later and got to alter their expectations. They trained in more useful fields and the job market had recovered somewhat by the time they had finished education. This basically gave them a more optimistic outlook on life.

I guess the mentality that the job market is fucked hit Gen Y much much harder than Gen Z.

>Gibs me dats

Yeah see, I can't even fathom shit like this. My parents would sell their house if I told them I needed money for graduate or professional school, and my grandma would literally sell everything down to her dentures to support me if I even hinted at needing help. What the fuck is wrong with your family?

>go wrong
What's wrong? I'm on vacation now so I have time to shitpost in the middle of the day. I slept in, went for a run and now I'm shitposting for a bit while doing some reading before lifting later. Then I'll either hang out with my friends or watch some Tibetan pictographs.

Not social security that's for sure.

Fuck you in the neck.
As being in the carpenter and Ibew, they don't do jack shit for you.

Sounds nice but I have my doubts over it being widely available to the plebs.

post pics of your hot slutty sister

I love you

>thinking a company values it's workers if unionized.
>thinks a union will actually do anything

We have nothing to look forward to ourselves but we need to be the ones to fix this and give our children and grandchildren something worthwhile. If you have kids you can NOT let them slip at all during their formative and school years. The amount of competition for this coming century is going to be horrendous.

>Beta
>uprising
pick one

Lurk more.

>not needing a diploma.
I love this meme because most work was labor work or factory work that doesn't require one you idiot. The market changed to more tech.
It's not rigged it's how it played out
