well he took his mom and was going to kill her
i would do the same

its not like he cares about human life

I can almost swear when the courthouse or whatever blew up, he had the faintest hint of a smile as he walked out of the fire.

More like disdain

>Well that was a waste of my time

>I could've been saving a cat out of a tree
>Instead I got people parts all over me
>My feet hurt, I'm going home

>it's called projecting and you can do it to!

Clarck getting mad like that just makes him relatable. Also him threatening Luthor.

Even the Buddha has wanted to strike other in anger.

Muh Martha was the whole point of the movie user

I think the Capitol Hill scene and everything else during the movie was Superman bottling his feelings up.

Snyder said him and Batman fighting was them letting their anger out on eachother.

There's one thing people hate more than a murderous Supes and that's a hypocrite Supes. They got everything wrong they could have gotten wrong in this movie except Batfleck. He would have made a great Bats for a Dark Knight Returns adaptation but they had to spoil him on this garbage.

As evident by that one statue of him pulling a knife on a nigga.

MAN

OF

MURDER

Nah, it was just a threat. It's unlikely he'd go through with it.

Despite the movie being pretty bad, I actually really loved the roof scene with Lex and Supes. I just think it would have had more impact if Superman was a bit more friendly throughout the film, so him losing it like that was more shocking, and if Lex was more put-together throughout the film, so we actually see his veil fall.

>I don't care, he kidnapped my mommy

>I don't care, he killed my mom steve!

Except Tony watched his parents both die at the hands of the guy standing next to him.
I'd imagine most people would freak out about that.
What'd Supes have? A picture of Martha in a cell somewhere or whatever? Not really the same thing.

I think the picture had a guy with a gun to her head.

kek

Imagine being this powerful demigod and a lowly inferior human being kidnaps one of the only persons you care about.

I'd do the same if I was in Supes or Tony's position. The point is though that I'm not Superman: he's supposed to be level-headed, compassionate, and always value human life.

Idk man, I do not understand what Snyder is trying to go for with his interpretation of Superman... it's all over the place.

Yeah but the point is his appeal comes from the fact that he doesn't do what anyone else would do if they were a demigod

>some guy just tossed your girlfriend off a roof then showed you pictures of your kidnapped mother held at gunpoint while taunting you

Versus

>finding out the guy who killed your parents almost 30 years ago is standing right there then spending the next 20 minutes trying to kill him and your coworker despite knowing he'd been brainwashed

>comparing Superman to Tony "I'm a literal retard" Stark
Superman should be better than that.

Superman has wanted to kill people before brah.

why didn't superman just rape Lex? That would have ended the conflict for good

Yeah but that's more golden age right? I could be mistaken, I just always thought that was his characterization.
I always refer to Hitman (issue #34 I think?) when he's telling Supes why he's such a good guy

that's how Superman is
he has constant mood swings

>Yeah but that's more golden age right? I could be mistaken, I just always thought that was his characterization.
>I always refer to Hitman (issue #34 I think?) when he's telling Supes why he's such a good guy
He had a hate boner for darkseid in the DCAU

Injustice Supes is an autist

Hey Snyder, I see you're reading Injustice to make the Justice League movie

anons, I know you're bad at things like human emotions. Here's a quick lesson though: you're supposed to be enraged when someone threatens your mother.

Of course.

>YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT HIM BRUCE
>YOU WERE ALWAYS RIGHT ABOUT HIM
>LOIS IS THE KEY
>AM I TOO SOON? AAAAH! TOO SOON

...

...

...

...

...

That's because he heard the Curb Your Enthusiasm song.

...

...

Nice dream sequence Supes :^)

...

...

...

...

...

...

It's still my head cannon that Bruce forced them to lock him up.

...

...

>Wonder/Bat can only come into existence via Batman wooing Wonder Woman by snapping someone's neck

>it's a "refugee's deserve to be here" episode

...

Wouldn't you have done the same.

>Man of Murder

I am so glad I chose not to watch this movie.

Probably won't even pirate it.

>Did I leave the iron on
>I have to pick up a gallon of milk on my way home

Just... C'mon, a big :( frowny face would've been a more appropriate expression at the time, can't characters in Snyder movies emote anything other than complete apathy and "NNNOOOOOOO"?

...

His face means "I can't believe I didn't see that coming. I should have scanned the room."

Despite having mastered his enhanced senses/abilities, he still has to maintain control over them. In this moment of anquish and rage, he nearly lost that control

>doesn't even kneel down in shame
>literally no emotion to signify any remorse for this

"Gee, that sure sucks, what a dummy I am. I bet it's going to take an hour to wash off all this ash... Oh, and hundreds died, dang, that sucks too"

this
God this Superman is such a twat

>>literally no emotion to signify any remorse for this
He is in shock and escapes to the north pole to be alone he feels like shit

Doesn't sound like a very relatable character to me then :^)

That would be corny
Glad youre not writing this

Yeah, I sure am glad that there's nothing corny in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, dodged a bullet there.

Where is this from?

Injustice, it's Superman's dream sequence of a perfect world where Batman killed the Joker.

It's too perfect

>"AAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH IM IN EMOTIONAL PAIN FROM THIS BOMBING"
>*takes a knee*

Truly, Zack Snyder would never resort to that

>Grey hair on Superman

I thought he was immortal?

Sometimes he's immortal, sometimes he ages very slowly, sometimes he stays in the sun until he gains infinite power.

As per Kingdom Come, which pretty much laid the blueprint for "DC characters in their old age", Superman ages slower than regular people, in that story, Batman is an old man that needs an exoskeleton to move around properly and Supes is just sporting some silver edges.

...

Diana is truly immortal, right?
or at least ever lasting youth.

Why does everyone seem to hate this movie? I personally loved it, yeah the mom being abducted plot device should've been tighten up but overall it was great. I'm glad of the serious tone it had, honestly getting tired of the jokey mood Marvel movies have, Winter Soldier is my favorite superhero movie because of this.

She used to be, back when she was a clay figure given life, now that she's a demigodess, I don't know how those work in the DC Universe.

>It's okay when Goyer does it.

Fuck it, may as well ask here. Anyone have any webms of any of the fight scenes from the movie? particularly the Doomsday fight with WW?

Superman has a switch the back of his neck that goes from apathy to screaming , and those are your only options.

Disney shills, the lot of you

Difference from killing someone and not being able to save them. I think that his emotions are properly shown in both these movies.

>BvS is perfect! PERFECT!
>if you don't like it, you are Disney shill!!1!

You might need to take a few pills for that.

No, if anything, he should be more outraged by all the innocent lives lost in the bombing. Anyone would be emotionally ravaged after that. Superman is not actually some kind of emotionless robot. He does feel and actually show it often, believe it or not.

Zod, on the other hand, was unfortunate, but he was also a madman who was willing to kill for as long as he was able to until he was put down. Even if MoS should've been written so that Superman could find another way, he still ultimately saved lives by killing him, for as much as I don't care for that aspect of the movie.

It actually makes Superman look really selfish here. What, his morals are more important than lives?

...

Why hasn't Batman killed the Superman?

If you don't portray Superman as an unfeeling alien it's gonna be less cool when Batman punches him, though.

Or it makes it clear how misguided he is. Then when they are fighting, Superman can pull his punches, and actually talk, and bring about a realization about Superman's true nature that isn't dependent on a coincidence.

this superman feels more like doctor Manhattan that regular sup.

>Clarck

Hmmm. I wonder why?

Yeah, I guess that was the point, wasn't it? I know at least one guy who couldn't stop yapping about how Batman kicked Superman's ass in this movie anyway and how Supes deserved it.

>tfw some of Lex's piss got on his mouth
