I like how it kind of forgets that its a musical from the halfway mark to the very end when it kicks back into song to remind you

I really enjoyed it, watched it last week and have been humming City of stars to myself.

It made me cry pretty hard desu

It's a movie about what happens after the musical is over and the leads have to deal with the fact that they may not be right for each other.

>off key singing
>"dragging" dancing
Are you guys blind and deaf?

Idk how you not liking that scene makes the entire movie bad.

tv loved this

Because it was full of scenes like that retard.

>Like 4 songs in the entire movie
>Full of scenes like that

stfu jay

And "someone in the crowd" and Nigga's jazz wasn't like btw.

I liked it up until the end where he got cucked.

>He's not a frog goy

Is it getting cucked if he abandoned her before that and they didn't had any relationship when she met the other guy?

Damn, I actually like it. Maybe I should watch it, one of my girl friends meme'd me into not doing it.
It's only slightly off-key, typical of vintage musicals, like it's between talking and singing properly. And I love when a movie throws me back like that.
I normally hate musicals but it seems legitimately good, and Emma is gorgeous.

Lel. Too obvious at the end there.

BLEACHED

Felt bad for Goose for having to watch

obvious what, you fucking faggot? Are you hating on best Emma? I'll let you know she's my waifu now that MEW let me down.

Just finished watching, wtf was that ending? I thought it was supposed to be the 30s. Maybe my femfriend didn't meme me after all.

>I thought it was supposed to be the 30s
Didn't froggy use a cellphone during one of the first scenes?

I meant I finished marathoning that youtube video user, sorry for the misunderstanding. I didn't watch the film.

>I thought it was supposed to be the 30s.
What made you think that?

Shame there wasn't any casting couch scene. In the real Hollywood, after six year working there, Mia would have sucked a few producers dicks to get roles at least. Kinda killed the immersion and realism. But besides that, it's a good movie. Loved it.

The clothing, music and dance

>LA had a amassing road network in the 30's

I really liked it. I was so salty at how it ended though.

I'm going through a breakup now. Understanding that we made each other better, but aren't necessarily meant to be together, sucks. But this movie helps.

I'm not a burger, burger. We had great roads here in Sweden unlike you cucks.

>music and dance
Well. That's because the movie is stealing a lot of things of the clasic musicals.
The clothing is not very weird imo. It's just elegant clothing, Isn't like people don't dress like that in 2016. Froggy uses more modern shit during some scenes in the movies.

What about the spectator shoes?

>cuck
>Sweed
oh the ironing

How gay are you?

Some people still use them? IIRC main guy was some type of hipster/pretentious fag so it fits.

2 cups of semen a day gay

This movie hit me hard. Me and my boyfriend got separated by getting into grad school at opposite sides of the country. Still hurts.

the US is the leading country in cuck porn viewership

fag

They didn't show snorting coke off producers dick is the toilet

That awful play that she refused to do more than once and still got noticed

That nonargument with goose and that ending which tries to show that there were "circumstances" between them being together even though there were literally none, like after frog's initial acting dive she couldn't reunite with jazz man? Please, he just chose someone who is better for her, the "what if" at the end was retarded.

I have myriad other problems but the guy wanking off to dead aesthetic that has nothing to do with his own reality and him getting critical acclaim for it is deplorable. Like I don't know where the "dishonest" meme started but I was brought to it time and time again while watching this movie.

it's not the 80s anymore user

>absolute kino
>emma stone
>chazelle

Because it was popular, especially among people Sup Forums dislikes.

It's a bad movie until it gets good.
It sucks at pacing.

Its shit though bad script bad acting bad numbers and bad singing. 3/10

It's reddit case and point the board that is dead now likes it.

>it's a reddit concern trolling post
>implying we look at reddit to get our opinions

>implying this movie isn't dishonest

What the hell that means? The dishonest meme is probably the most retarded meme ever lol

If it's not 80s why didn't they use an indiegogo campaign for the kewl bar or acted on twitch or youtube? Why did frog need the fluff of hollywood? It was all so fucking superficial while pretending to be profound it made me sick.

One of the worst movies I've seen recently, who thinks gosling and stone hamming it up for a third time is good, numales do.

I watched it last night and it fucked me up pretty good. Been thinking about it all day. Thought it was great.

I had the same urge many times but used all my strength to hold it back. It's more poignant if you've been in a relationship I think.

>emily stone
You couldn't pay me to watch her face and voice onscreen

Go to bed Chazelle. We know you post here.

>all these samefags le I watches it and it fuckes me upXd

Numale kissless fa/tv/irgins won't understand this kino.

because it wouldn't be contrarian to like it
