>get the chance to bring in Aqualad and make him more like the one from Young Justice
>bring in the shitty Jackson Hyde version
>make him fucking gay
What's wrong with DC?
Get the chance to bring in Aqualad and make him more like the one from Young Justice

Stay mad, fag.
He was bi in Young Justice, though. If anything, this just makes him closer to the YJ version.
>He was bi in Young Justice,
Says fucking who!
No he wasn't. He had a thing for Tula.
...
user, do you not know what "bi" means?
>he was bi
>He had a thing for Tula
Err...
When did he ever say that?
>ok with him having superpowers
>not with being gay
>keeping a character's sexuality
I see nothing wrong with this

He kind of teased it. Or he could've just pointed out they were jumping to conclusions by saying he's straight.
Nobody should be okay with homosexuality.
If you think being gay is that big of a deal than you have brain problems.
homosexuality is completely normal, the best society in the world practiced it
Welp. Guess however writes him could change it and morph him more into the YJ version who's a badass and likes girls. After all it's a choice.
Honestly, gay pandering, like all pandering, is fine as long as it's done well
If they just cram shit in because all they need is headline for news outlets to publish or because they want to "appeal to a certain crowd" then it sucks
But if it's not shoehorned in everywhere or leads to an amazing story, then it's fine
All I know for sure is that Nightmask is definitely bisexual.
...
they want the marvel money
And he was obviously gay for Roy.
>he cares about Aquacuck
Lying on the internet is so easy these days
JOHNS
IS
A
WHORE.
The guy will put anything that the executives tell him to put.
Why did he take his shirt off?
Weisman and Johns co created him as bisexual.
I don't remember WW2 era Germany being pro gay
>best society
>lost
Everyone loses eventually.
This is BM's son right? The one that disappeared after Flashpoint?
I have some news for you user...
Yes
I'm still curious what Johns was gonna do with him because he wanted to use him inew New 52 and apparently cockblocked Lobdell from using him
Yes
Because he's Libra and he has to show off dat libra tattoo.
>
>lobdell
>cockblocking the most powerful and influential writer that DC has
>cockblocking a guy that literally killed a book by MORRISON, WAID and SIMONE.
>cockblicking the CCO
>cockblocking an EXECUTIVE of WB
No.
Thank God.
>what is reading comprehension
Considering what Lobdell did to Artemis, it was a wise decision.
What's wrong with you? Why can't Aqualad be gay?
At least he kept the season two haircut.
Johns cockblocked Lobdell, not Lobdell cockblocked Johns
Lobdell wanted the TT team from right before new 52, with Blaqualad, and editorial and Johns said no
So if he's embracing his gayness, does that mean gayness is his power? Is he going to hit people with magic, weaponized gay?
>Character is made gay or bi from day one
>People are pissed because muh inclusion, needless diversity, SJWs, etc
>Character is turned gay or bi after some retcon
>People are pissed because muh inclusion, needless diversity, SJWs, etc
Just shrug your shoulders either way, man
I think that Bunker already fills that role, unless they killed him off in classic Teen Titans style
>editorial and Johns
It was editorial (not Johns). Johns pretty much left the building in regards to messing with the DCU outside of his books and left it to Jim Lee and Didio after Flashpoint.
Oh yeah, that is Bunker's shtick.
>not liking the dreadlocks
The Tula thing in Young Justice was the most boring shit so it's not like he had a really interesting, important history of being straight. His sexuality was a moo point until now.
His obsession with Tula was borderline stalkerish if you read the comic. Before he visited her and found out the truth about her and Tempest, he had a pic of her in his cell phone and had a vision of her in the middle of the mission where they get asswhooped by Clayface.
>yfw he's actually gay and was in terrible denial
