>PM abe said "The Japanese government will spend 28000000000000 Yen($280 billion) to boost economy" >before he said he asserted to cut government spending because of Japan's debt.
haha He follows Keynesian economics in 2016(this has been done over 20years.)
hahahahahaha Other parties support socialism.
Hey Sup Forums. Do you know why I hate this country?
There are only outdated "conservative" and stupid socialist parties.
Keynesian economics are a failure. Socialism is proven not to work. He's just got to cut regulations and taxes and let the market put resources where they should be, doujins, anime, toys and robotics.
Gavin Gray
Why haven't you outlawed degenerate anime yet?
Camden Scott
Keynesianism is a cancer on earth
Gavin Garcia
That's a lot of zeroes.

Keynesianism is the only working macroeconomic theory, you know shit

Elijah Jackson
How can statists be this fucking retarded
>Hey let's take 50000000000000 yen from the people im taxes >Ok now we take a huge amount of that and spend it on politicians/bureaucracy > now let's funnel the remaining 28000000000000 into the economy >We boosted the economy!
How? How can you be so dumb?
Ayden Jackson
I can mortgage a house for half the cost in Japan as here. I could afford to mortgage an apartment in downtown Tokyo of all places when here in Canada I'm living in my mother's basement in the middle of the fucking desert and still paying half my income to rent. What the fuck is happening? Canada is the largest country in the world with the population of Mexico City. Japan has 140 million nips crammed onto islands that are 80% uninhabitable mountains, but I could actually afford to buy a house and start a family there. WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?
Xavier Moore
>your mum is taking half of your income for rent Is your only income your allowance?
Leo Green
My dick retracts into my body when I hear people talk about a nations "debt" like it's anything but leverage.
I've almost blown my brains out when the word 'bancruptcy' is dropped. The only thing that stops me is I know some day it will be my responsibility to lead these fucking plebs.
Leo Long
>WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?
Canada has a bizarre housing bubble.. You have plenty of space, but not enough affordable houses. Solution would be to build more affordable housing in certain regions, but there's a good chance that would simply be bought up by foreign investors too, just inflating the bubble even greater.. Also.. >You mother makes you spend half your income in rent Either your income is shit, or your mom overcharges on that basement m8..
Owen Morris
>Keynesianism is the only working macroeconomic theory, you know shit >stagflation is a myth
Isaac Brooks
So he will boost economy by importing more people? Well he can just go to Africa and put signs: "we pay 200 dollars", come to Japan. Those signs aren't that expensive. He's just putting money in pocket and really will just import more foreigners. Literally what else can liberals ever accomplish?
Carson Cook
Yeah I was considering buying an investment property in Tokyo while yen is way down, no idea why they are so cheap though
Apparently even the ghettos in Japan are incredibly safe
Kevin Scott
>Stimulate the economy Biggest meme of all time
Jack Taylor
We all know that the real solution is to accept immigrants and turn Japan into a multicultural society.
Wyatt Hughes
>or your mom overcharges on that basement m8 his view seems a bit off, like somehow more closed. Maybe his mother is making him pay big amounts of money for rent, to prepare him for "real life" instead, she's just making him scared of the world and asking a lot of more than he would normally pay, so that he wouldn't go away and stay with her? how much you pay for rent you personally and how much your mother?
Luis Wood
Yeah, then why did he admit to Hayek that he was wrong in the end?
Eat shit Swiss cheese, the only reason your economy is doing so well is because it is unburdened by EU and it's regulations.
Nolan Butler
>throws money at people >spending doesn't increase >investment doesnt increase >debt-GDP is almost as bad as the US Abenomics is doing great

you said what I implied.
Jayden Diaz
>Maybe his mother is making him pay big amounts of money for rent, to prepare him for "real life" instead,
If that´s the case I hope she´s saving it up for him, because preparation for ´real life´ in Canada means saving up a chunk of cash to get a mortgage on an overpriced house, if you live in certain areas.. And if she were afraid he´d leave she´d probably have better luck bribing him with tendies.
Joseph King
>Massively shrinking population >No immigration

Markets are more efficient at allocating resources and capital, we all know this. But that doesn't mean that said capital/resources is being allocated/directed to the right areas.
Meaningless growth is irrelevant if people can't have their basic needs met inside that system.
Lincoln Gonzalez
I pay $800/month rent (undervalued by about $150-200 for my area) and my income is $1800/month. I'm not exactly rich, no. At least my I get a bonus 50 GBP for paying my rent on time. Fuck this country.
Landon Fisher
Government spending by itself isn't a bad thing. Deficit government spending is because the government will have to borrow money to spend. This will crowd out private investment spending. To what degree depends on the elasticity of the supply of loans.
Colton Williams
Stimulation of the economy: - refugees welcome (lowers expenses for corp) - selling industry to foreigners (corp happy, will reward with better bank credits for slaves) Which creates temporary boost in GDP in economy graphs, since it shows business doing shit, but actually the next prime minister will then need to scrape the shit or simply abandon the ship. It's the process as seen all over Europe, but now that everybody moved to big cities for work and eventually to Germany, only big cities and Germany have functional industry, but hey the graphs show GDP rise, so it means good economy, my ass.
William King
Yeah that's another thing, hasn't Abe done this a few times before, with little to no results? Why would this time be any different?
Blake Reyes
>Population shrink is bad
I really don't get this meme.. Maybe for some countries this is true, especially in the short run. But if there ever was a country that could probably make due with a few less people living in it it would be Japan.. Same thing with Europeans meme-ing about 'population shrink'. In what way exactly is it beneficial to keep up population figures by importing people that will arguably turn out to be a net economic loss for your societies? Especially if you have the population density of a country like the Netherlands or Japan..
Owen Jenkins
You are still paying the shit that Keynesianism did in 80's. It's time to repeat the same mistake :^)
Adrian Wright
>socailism >a working system choose one germoney

Aaron Turner
>Apparently even the ghettos in Japan are incredibly safe What a great fact.
Daniel Miller
abe has been working his little heart out trying to stimulate the economy. The bigger news ~half a year ago when he set a negative interest rate which is pretty crazy
Then just when the economy was getting a little better brexit happened and japan got fucked a little bit more.
this new stimulus probably wont work either
its bad because all of these budgets and debt are based on a growing population with more productive members. If you have a larger labour force your GDP increases, wages go down and the ratio of working people supporting non-participants increases. Our current economic models and theories don't work for negative growth
Matthew Bennett
Population growth is neccesary to have your economy growing. The mist easy way is importing people from other countries, provided tgey are willing to work and thus contribute to society. The other one is keeping the birth rates up, but this isn't always as easy since woman have emancipated and stay less at home to take care of kids.

I don't get how you can be against government investment when your whole economy relies on the redistribution of oil wealth. Once your oil runs out and the sovereign wealth fund is plundered. Then you'll be living in the real world like the rest of us.
You guys really do live in your own world. Like a rich kid who's been given free money all their lives and doesn't understand why people are poor.

Bread only comes for top people, while lower people have to study more and more and fight more and more to get little more than nothing. If marriages are failing, that means country has a bad social program, but they will blame people, like they blame people for pollution. They want marriages to fail, they want to lower birth rate, since then they have an excuse to import niggers and exploit them like slaves in past, with elevated democracy and the dream for few of them to reach more, but sadly only few. The key thing is to promote success and ignore fail. Corporations will show increased GDP and other invention graphs, but actually we eating worse food, have to visit doctors more than in past, marriages work less, degeneracy thrives. Degeneracy only happens when things aren't working, it's an excellent indicator of fail. Le competition of le man with 100 dollars VS. billionaire, da fair fight.

You can buy a shitty house in Japan for 8.5 million yen. For a 15 year mortgage, that's 46,222 yen a month payments. That's $577 CAD in monthly mortgage payments. I could afford to raise a family on the rest of the $1800 easily. That's not factoring in down payments or my waifu's income or interest.
Carson Smith

>its bad because all of these budgets and debt are based on a growing population with more productive members.
Budgets and debt can be restructured.. What you cannot do however, is turn unprofitable immigrants/refugees into productive members of society when operating a welfare state.
>If you have a larger labour force
The immigrants currently flushing Europe overwhelmingly do not end up in the labour force, unfortunately.. More alarming however, is that the guest workers and their families that came to many European countries in the 60s and 70s ALSO didn't enter the labour force, or left it after a generation. Not to mention the non-participation from women in those groups.
>Our current economic models and theories don't work for negative growth
And they do work when you import people that overwhelmingly start using the benefits of the welfare state without ever having contributed to it?
Zachary Morris
>Canada is larger than Russia because my fantasy says so

>The other one is keeping the birth rates up, but this isn't always as easy since woman have emancipated and stay less at home to take care of kids.
The reason most people in the Netherlands don't have more than 2 or 3 kids (1,7 on average I think) likely has more to do with space than time.. Most women in the Netherlands work part time to take care of the family and households, rather than full-time (much to the dismay of feminists who cannot seem to get women to WANT to 'break the glass ceiling'). People would likely have more than 3 kids if a 4+ bedroom house didn't cost a literal million euros in many regions people tend to want to live in due to economic activity..
Christopher Martinez
Get old down the road Vs Old as fuck now, and with the highest lifespan in the world, continue to not die
Qualified immigration, in theory is the answer. In practice it will have bumps and obstacles to clear and will irreparably change the complexion of this country.
If somebody has a better solution, i would love to hear it.
Xavier Perry
10 people = 1 baker 100 people = 10 bakers 1000 people = 100 bakers Same shit, the only ones who profit from growing population are international corporations who can sell more products, but they are exactly those who aren't native or tied to homeland, corporations can always relocate business.
Matthew Cook
>The arctic belongs to us
Joseph Gray
You aren't even a real country.

In welfare states like the Netherlands there's also the issue of pensions and such. The generation that's currently receiving state and private pensions typically came from families with 4 or 5 children, and they didn't actually pay into the state pension schemes during their working lives, because those didn't exist then. The principle behind the state pensions is that you pay into them during working life, and then receive them when you reach retirement age.. The reality of the system however, is that the CURRENT working generation pays the CURRENT retirees. Meaning if current trends hold up, there will likely not be enough workers to pay for our pensions when we're old...
That said, if you rely on state pension alone at age 65 you basically fucked up. My father, at 68, is hardly a rich man, but he's more than set and would also be without the universal state pension everybody receives.. That's just 'extra' to him.

During Socialism we paid into common money reserve and when grass or something needed to be cut it was done by organization A, it was always enough money. Now during American capitalism, we might still pay into common money reserve, but organization A is now privatized, so it isn't anymore people owned, so why pay into common money reserve? There's more, now common money reserves get spend way too fast and not for things they are meant for. While pensions also get used like a private company, where those who own the company sometimes takes chunks out of it. Europe will now continue to raise working years and lower the money you paid into. So where's the problem here? Problem is only one: public money reserves shouldn't be owned by private companies, especially not companies who aren't even native people. People should deice when their money reserves need to be spend, like we had during Socialism, now private companies tell us when we need to do something, which is wrong. Government is also a form of private company nowadays, we can't get rid of them by voting like in past, they serve their terms and whatever shit they do they are immune to prosecution, such is democracy.
