Stop being antisemitic against Mike Myers

Fun fact: Penelope Spheeris decided to add that line to the scene after Chris Holmes (then-famous and now-forgotten guitarist of W.A.S.P.) begged her to. She figured Chris knew what he was talking about so added the line without realizing how stupid it was. At the time, even Spheeris wasn't aware that Holmes was slightly mentally challenged (which is debated to this day) and was obsessed with such a guitar as the line described because when Holmes was a child/teenager and wanted a guitar one of his friends at school told him about some guitar he played using the words used in the line, and this had always stuck with him.

Watch The Decline of Civilization Part II: The Metal Years for more encounters between Spheeris and Holmes, including the infamous pool interview (which, unlike the Ozzy and Kiss interviews from the same documentary, wasn't staged). Also, TDOWCII:TMY has this legend in it:

>whoa a bike with two wheels, tassels on the handlebars, and a playing card in the spokes

Having triple single coil pickups is pretty good actually if you know about pickups, but yeah it's what you'd expect from that specific guitar, it's the key reason it's so good.

Almost all strats have 3 single coil pickups. It's literally the standard

That's like saying "wow this bike has two wheels. It's what you want with this kind of bike"

'64 STRATS WERE GARBAGE
YOU COULDN'T GET ONE IN WHITE IN 1992 BECAUSE THE STUFF THEY WERE PAINTED WITH TURNED YELLOW AFTER A FEW YEARS

whammy bar part is dumber IMO

they cost like 10 bucks and every strat ever has a hole for one

>he doesn't play a Fat Strat

I mean they could have blocked it off but yeah, they're just listing standard strat features

>Whoah..64 Fender Stratocaster in classic white with a neck, strings and a pick guard.

this is what i would have chosen

>triple single coil pickups and a whammy bar.
you mean like 90% of strats ever made?

>Oh wow, it's got a 2JZ engine!

>oh wow it's got a missing floorboard panel

Came here to post this. Fuck.

Is this funny? I don't know anything about cars.

No. That is not what blocking off a tremolo even means.

>woah it's a microwave with an instant 30-second button

And that's why they are based.

No, it's not.

>and a rotating tray

Well that's because you have [spoler]good taste[/spoiler] fagget

Every fourth gen Supra had a 2JZ engine. The choice was between a turbocharged 2JZ-GTE or a naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE.

>wow, a t-shirt. it's made of cotton and has two arm holes and a neck hole

Oh wow, how did I miss that plot hole during the film.
That passenger seat was replaced with the nitro too, wasn't it?

Zang!

i wana lik that chinese pusy

I agree

Correct about paint, but 1964 is the year before the CBS takeover.
"Pre-CBS" remains something that demands a premium. I have no idea if they are garbage or not, much like Wayne in that scene I've only ever seen them from a distance.

On guitar related news, I'm really glad I bought a Rickenbacker 330 last year before they fucking doubled the price. I should have bought 100.

.... yeah no buddy.

>Rickenbacker 330

signed, the gretsch poster

I've always loved the inlay on it. Too bad I'll never have white falcon cash.

*blocks your path*

these are so sexy

why aren't there more deadwood reaction images around?

>woah, a 64 Chevy with four wheels and windows

I went "Maple Glo" in the end, there is just something about the gloss fingerboard. Originally I thought I'd get it in Beatles black but in the flesh its kind of a big guitar to be one block colour to my eyes.

very few patricians like you and I around these parts

>woah, a web browser with a universal resource locator bar

>slightly mentally challenged (which is debated to this day)

I had the 360 version Walnut.

Seriously shitty guitar for $2000.

yeah i have no clue how it plays i just love the design

my mexican strat serves me well enough

Yeah, I had that same feel. Always wanted a Rick, and the Walnut looked sweet, just wasn't expecting a $2000 guitar to be that bad.

Can't go wrong with Strats or Teles.

I've played two CBS strats before
Not that good, not terrible either, definitely not worth the money though, you could probably get a nice used Fender CS/G&L/Suhr for the same price

She used to be the lead in a really shitty tomb raider type tv show.

I used to crank it to her iin that.
