I don't mind the bullying

I love you, America(non).

howaobut me? ;---;

IT'S JUST A BAD DREAM FATBOY

>just ignore them
that's what my mom was telling me, and here i am, browsing Sup Forums at 3am

Go to sleep my Polish friend.

>spent 15 min. arguing about net neutrality with an american on steam
>he was arguing for it
>his argument boiled down to free markets and being against any kind of government regulation

How do you argue with something like that? What use is it trying to explain that internet access is not just a service but a utility that should be held to a higher standard than a burger at a macdonalds? That setting up barriers to the most important means of communication will not just hurt consumers but small business' too? That most of america has such shitty infrastructure that no new ISPs will be born there to compete with the monopolies? How do you convince a moron who thinks he's right that he's wrong?

you mean he was arguing against it, right?

Put it this way, there is a real potential that in the next few years americans will have to pay extra to visit such sites that aren't owned by ISPs or an umbrella organisation. either that or the speed will be reduced in a "slow lane". What does this mean? Americans either paying to shit post or americans taking hours to respond to banter all the while their arses are getting even more sore. Just imagine the rage from across the atlantic. It's great. The best part is, they deserve it. Their general ignorance has once again led to them being trodden on just a little bit more by big business, the pitiful part is that there will be thousands of average joes that will unironically defend it as freedom and scream that consumer protection is socialism and ill.

tl;dr : fuck americans, they deserve it and I hope they burn

Does this shit effect us or just the burgers?

...

I have no idea what this means

can you not read the corresponding colour that canada is filled in?

Arguing against, of course.
It's actually not the poor arguments themselves that are infuriating but the obviousness that the person hasn't thought about it themselves and that he just parrots the most obvious talking pro talking points he has heard and repeats them ad nausea. If you're going to take a stand at least have the dignity to believe what you're arguing.

We'll see. Most likely not but who really knows.

I can but does that imply what the burgers do effect all the blue area? I have zero idea what any of this means

autists. Ive never made a post as long as either as these and certainly not about something that doesnt have any influence on me personally. Then again your up at what 3am on a friday morning? Most likely neets or something.

>It's actually not the poor arguments themselves that are infuriating but the obviousness that the person hasn't thought about it themselves and that he just parrots the most obvious talking pro talking points he has heard and repeats them ad nausea

I realise I'm generalising here but what did you honestly expect from Americans? The country where there is still no minimum paid holiday enshrined in law, the country where waiters have to rely on tips to survive because they make 2 dollars or less an hour as wages, the country where people unironically think they are saving money by having private healthcare. The only time the average american cares about something is when it's already affecting him/her negatively. They don't give a shit about their fellow citizens otherwise they'd look after each other. The entire country needs to burn.

I love you too :)

>Hahahahha you're autists for having a discussion about international issues on an international discussion forum :DDDD

what?

It isnt an international issue. This only effects the united states.

>"Autists!" he screeched as the unrecognizable multi syllable words bounced around in his tiny head. "How dare they know more than I do? I'll put them in their place by pretending to be completely untouched by concrete decisions and actions done unto me by my leaders".

I fail to see how a monumental piece of news that could potentially sway other countries' governments to back track on their version of net neutrality is not something worthy of discussion. I realise though that you're just trying to get the as much hot air typed down before the 5.99$ monthly "board surfer tm" package comes out

>by pretending to be completely untouched by concrete decisions and actions done unto me by my leaders".

They are changing unneeded two year old government regulations.

...

>They are changing unneeded two year old government regulations.

Said the nice looking business man to the under-informed alt right neet

The internet was fine before and it will be fine after. You all are getting your panties in a knot over nothing. Not that I could really expect you all to fully understand the free market.

affect

>americans will defend big business over consumer protection laws

you deserve what will happen. It won't be now or in a month, maybe not even a year but you will end up paying more because of this.

>you deserve what will happen.

Undoubtedly I voted to put this administration in office largely I am very happy with what they have accomplished. You all have a very strange infatuation government protectionism in Europe. Ive made my own way in life and I really doubt they many of you all will ever know they feeling with your excessive taxes and government hand holding.

Don't correct me mutt!

no

wish you would have held out for another 2 months so we could have nuked you
