My criticisms as a Lynch fan (lost highway being fave movie), obsessed with Twin Peaks:
1. It's leaning toward corny instead of campy
2. Aesthetically is not in line with Lynch's work as a whole & TP specifically
It's too digital and perfect looking. The town of Twin Peaks should not have people with perfect photo shoot ready full faces of glam makeup, people in the show shouldn't be wearing brand new looking clothes that have never been worn, the overall color scheme is...non existent. It's too bright and...clear?
Sheriff Truman played by Robert Forster is Harry's brother. Harry is "sick" according to Lucy.

Digital is garbage; when shooting digital, you shoot for digital, greenscreens everywhere, etc, wheres with film you shoot lifelike. Lynch is either senile or this project couldn't have been done on film while maintaining budget. Either way, it's disgusting, because just aesthetically, regardless of artistic merit between the old show and the new season, the new season pales. Twin Peaks will never look good again, it's dead.
