>mfw the new season of Twin Peaks is a steaming pile of shit
How could this happen?
>mfw the new season of Twin Peaks is a steaming pile of shit
How could this happen?
I'm halfway through episode 3 right now.
>P U R E
>LYNCH
>K I N O
I don't care about the shitty CGI, or fucking Twin Peaks. Just give me more Cooper exploring bizarro worlds
>mfw 10 minutes of cooper shuffling around a casino playing slots
LYNCH DID IT AGAIN BOYS
WE IN KINO TERRITORY
baka senpai
It's great so far, hope it keeps being great
It's because Lunch, who never made kino in the first place, is borrowing ideas from the only true Kino left, Fargo. FFS a subplot takes place in South Dakota. He and his fans are so pretentious, it's sad. Anyone with a brain new this would flip, and flop hard.
>Do you understand this situation, Albert?
>Blue rose
>Doesn't get any bluer
Just when you think the show has lost the plot we get lynched by this pure kino. Incredible
You have to go back
Everything that takes place in South Dakota is Fargo
There's nothing more Reddit than sucking Lynch's cock.
...
BAD CITY BAD BAD CITY
BAD CITY BAD
Seriously! I waited over twenty-fives years for this?
I liked how Twin Peaks went from being comprehensible to me having absolutely no fucking idea what is happening or why
Did Lynch make the CGI awful on purpose to fit with the 90s or something?
that scene felt ridiculously grounded compared to everything else so far.
i think as coopy gets his memories back, the background tracks from the original series will bleed back in and everything will start feeling more TP.
Why are people pretending this is good?
He probably likes the way it looks. Just be grateful he didn't use whatever shitty camera he used on Inland Empire.
How long until the apple tree thing speaks out about how Lynch raped and murdered his daughter and made a hit Sup Forums show about it?
Will it get replaced in season 4?
We are only four episodes in. I feel like Lynch is definitely using the Twin Peaks name and the creative freedom given to him over it to indulge (perhaps over-indulge) himself a bit, and I do understand why some people don't like it. I don;t think it will get more grounded, and I don't think the lore idiots who want exposition shoveled into their mouths will be satisfied, but I believe Lynch is building towards something interesting, to say the least.
I like imagining 50 year olds who've never seen anything Lynch other than Twin Peaks getting all excited about the return of that show they liked and getting prositute titties, electric apple faced trees and gore and just being a bit confused
>expect it to be relatively straightforward, even more accessible than the original Twin Peaks
>instead get Inland Empire/Eraserhead tier mindfuck shit
>there's going to be 18 full episodes of this
Without a story, who cares? I can watch weird shit on YouTube.
Because it is?
>Lynch given total freedom without even studio notes to guide him
>expect it to be relatively straightforward, even more accessible than the original Twin Peaks
Honestly, user, it is your own fault. Frost was probably sitting in a corner transcribing the script as Lynch shouted it at him while in a state of total worldly transcendence
>I'm literally retarded and or underaged
Why are you even here?
>that scene felt ridiculously grounded compared to everything else so far.
That's what makes it so kino. It's a reminder that show actually knows what it's doing and isn't JUST taking you for a wild ride. We have these characters who basically represent a grounded reality and now they're on the case to stop of all this crazy scary interdimensional nightmare shit.
where did I imply it's a bad thing you spergy fucks?
Because this is Sup Forums.
I'm kind of finding it depressing. Seeing Miguel Ferrer before he died trying his best to bring Albert back but not really doing it, or Lynch with his deaf Cole.
It kind of feels like a band reunion and they release a new album and it's just not very good.
Lynch doesn't know what he's doing. He's just making shit up as he goes along. This is going to be L O S T all over again.
I could never get in to the original material despite many attempts. I was completely familiar with all the spoilers and important details since I was interested in the important parts and watched reviews over the years...
I totally love the new season so far and would say it's his best work overall so far.
I feel like the opposite. Lynch and Ferrer are both great IMO
Plus for the first time it actually makes sense to be seeing these characters again. You get the reunion feels but it's justified by the plot so it feels way less cheap
where did I imply that you implied it was a bad thing? I stated that your expectations were unfounded and no one's fault but your own and implied nothing else
Kek. get a fucking life dude
literally no you
Do you get the stars after your name if you get enough upvotes?
This season is awesome though. I'll admit I wasn't a big fan of episode 1 or 2, but episodes 3 & 4 were absolute kino.
you're a pleb
It doesn't make any sense.
>Not a single QT
Has Lynch lost his mojo?
>Tracey
>Jade
>Naomi Watts
>Gordon's young FBI bitch
Ugly, all of 'em.
Why is everybody so old?
PURE
HEROIN
KINO
HE DID IT AGAIN
THE ABSOLUTE MADMAN
Watched the first epsiode and didn't really like it, it was ok I guess. I never saw the originals either so was looking forward too it after all the hype. It doesn't seem if you weren't a fan of the originals you wouldn't really care for it.
I felt the same. I liked parts of season 1 and a very select few parts in season 2, but I wasn't sucked in like everyone else was.
Season 3 is incredible though
