I'm just happy that you didn't put OHMSS at the very bottom of the list. I think I'm the only idiot in the world who doesn't have a problem with the movie or with Lazenby's portrayal of Bond.

Plus, Diana Rigg was so beautiful. The Bond woman you want to marry, as opposed to all of the others you want to fuck, and the one you want to kill (Grace Jones)

>2. Quantum of Solace

nice bait.

pleb. It has the best story, pacing, and action of the Craig movies.

What are you talking about? That's literally one of the most acclaimed Bond films.

meme opinion

Ok tell me the plot of Quantum of Solace. No looking it up on wikipedia.

Everybody I talk to tells me that
1) Lazenby sucked
2) The movie was garbage

If you say it's one of the most acclaimed, then okay, but I've never seen it.

Gonna steal the water, because of reasons.

They get a little insight on SPECTRE, but that's about it.

"it" being that I've never seen or heard anybody try to defend the movie as one of the better Bond films. They either forget about it, or promote one of the stupid ones like Moonraker or A View to a Kill.

They did like all day.

Please tell me all about how good Goldfinger and the other Connery movies are.

>They're actually pretty terrible

Sean Connery and Roger Moore ones are GOAT. Just curious how old are you?

41

From Russia With Love, Live and Let Die, and The Spy Who Loved Me are the only Connery/Moore worth saving. Moonraker and A View To a Kill are among the worst movies I've ever seen.

I'd put Natalia Simonova (sp?) from Goldeneye in the same category as Diana Rigg 2bh. She was beautiful, but wasn't just empty eye-candy either. She had substance and proper characterisation.

Dude, no Never Say Never? Do you just not like Kim Basinger or what?

Does is it count as a 'legitimate' Bond film?

I don't see why it wouldn't. It has: James Bond, James Bond getting some every fifteen minutes, and a preposterous plot to conquer the world.

Why would it be considered illegitimate?

The argument is that it wasn't released by Eon (who have released all other Bond films), and it doesn't have some of the trademarks of a Bond film - i.e., no intro sequence of the gunshot and the oozing blood screen, no "shaken, not stirred" dialogue, and so forth. It is argued that it is only a Bond film "in name".

Welp, that sounds like a pansy-assed opinion to me. Movie had best Bond doing Bond things, like bringing rich people's junk food to a health spa and had a bad-guy that worked for Spectre and everything. If there's any other qualification for a film to be a "legit" film, I'm not aware of it.

>Licence To Kill last
>Quantum of Solace that high
>Octopussy that high
> Diamonds Are Forever that high

Averaging the scores from RT Users, RT Critcs, LetterBoxd and IMDb, Casino Royale is the highest rated. A View To a Kill is the lowest
