the way i see the slip through the cracks thing is that sometimes you just get a weird thought your brain throws at you and you just think "huh what a weird thought" and immediately forget about it
just think about whatever the anxiety is making you think in the same way don't treat it any different than any other weird nonsense thoughts you forget about and let it slip from your mind... I don't know I'm no therapist

Seconding this. The other thing that helps with this is that it may not seem like it now, but you can look back on your thoughts in that journal and make more accurate assessments about how you're developed and changed over time. Shit that seems insurmountable at the time, you get to look back on and seeing that progress over time in summation helps.
I wish the pre-52 would return, even if I know it's impossible. Even so, we already know many pre-52 elements are going to be prominent, like the real Clark or Wally. Let's not talk about this, though, it makes me nervous someone will bring up spoilers.

You've already listed quite a few shit titles so I'm curious how low are your standards.
It was a failure on a world-building level. The pre-52 universe was infinitely more fleshed out and well thought out, and discarding it just to bait casuals was a bad decision. The new 52 forever damaged the storylines of characters such as Gen13, Grifter, Voodoo, Stormwatch, Batman, Tim Drake, the Teen Titans, Darkseid, Wally West, Alan Scott, Harley Queen and many more.

Who said anything about the material being new? There's nothing I like better than characters developing forward. The New 52 was a step backwards for the sake of money.

I'm all ears-- tell me how turning Gen13 into clones made them better. How turning Darkseid into a mindless movie villain and then giving him a daughter with a Tumblr haircut was an improvement. How disconnecting Tim Drake from Batman and then saying he wasn't Tim was good.

No, what they did to Priscilla isn't "subjective". This a character who went from having a run by Alan Moore to being porn bait. No writer in comics is capable of dealing with the existence of children too young to go to school in their book. That's why literally every comic book kid in history has gone through some kind of super-aging or time travel.
Fuck, Kirkman just did a time jump in Invincible specifically so the protagonist's newborn kid could be old enough to interact with as a character, and that book isn't even editorially forced to fit into a corporate universe.
