I can see things patching up between Iran and Pakistan but not with their neighbors.

Their main problem is that they want to become the dominant powers of their region but it's pretty much impossible for them. Well at least Iran has a chance since their only real competition is Israel (who's still leap and bounds above it) but Pakistan will never be able to compete with India in the upcoming century.
