Game Franchise DISHONORED Comes To Comic Books

Bethesda Softworks' popular game franchise Dishonored is coming to comic books in an all new miniseries and prose novel series. Set between that game and November's sequel, Titan Comics' four-issue Dishonored comic book series continues to follow the bodyguard-turned-assassin Corvo Attano in a throwback industrial setting. The miniseries will be written by Gordon Rennie and illustrated by Andrea Olimpieri and Marcelo Maiolo.

"The city of Dunwall; whaling capital of Gristol and industrial hub of the Empire of the Isles. Twelve years have passed since Corvo Attano scuppered the Lord Regent’s duplicitous plot against the crown and cleared his name of the Empress Jessamine’s murder," reads Titan's description of the series.
Now a little older and perhaps a little wiser, Corvo sets his sights on the future and securing an apprentice to continue his legacy. But when confronted by an impossible face from his past, the supernaturally-gifted assassin finds himself drawn once again into an otherworldly conspiracy, one that threatens to shake the very foundations of his ancient city."

Titan Comics' Dishonored is scheduled to debut in August, with the collected edition due in November.

In September, Titan's book division will launch the first in a trilogy of prose novels beginning with Dishonored - The Corroded Man by Adam Christopher.

The video game Dishonored 2 is scheduled to be released November 11.

How's Gordon Rennie as a writer?

I loved Dishonored, would be nice if this turned out good.

I have read one good Titan comic in my entire life.

They pay nobodies to write almost all of them and amateur artists who aren't paid enough to care.

Dishonored was great and I really liked the weird Steampunk meets Lovecraft meets China Mieville type setting.

Hopefully it doesn't so utterly miss the fucking point like that Dark Souls comic.
>mfw reading that

Who the fuck is Gordon Rennie?

Soooooo long. I can't wait to see my daughteru finally kick some ass.

Shall we gather for whiskey and cigars tonight?

At least it's a real writer this time, not like that idiot they got to write the Assassin's Creed comic.

Another cover.

OF COURSH!

Yes i believe we shall

...

Chances are very good.

>confronted by an impossible face from his past
Please be Daud. I miss my husbando.

>Last night the captain of the hunters dropped a Caragor quicker than I ever saw one.

"According to Harvey Smith, Corvo has a sister named Beatrici. She is described as an "older estranged sister... lost to time."[15][16]"

Could be her

although i doubt it

First issue will be out on August 3. Titan PR/Nrama forgot that.

Nice

I had played Deus Ex nonlethal/ghost just before i started Dishonored so i decided to kill everyone but the main badguys, which the game allowed for "alternative" endings for.

The game was damn easy when you just blinked behind everyone and shanked them in the back.

Still a great game with great atmosphere.

I still can't wait for the sequel. That teaser from last year has me really anxious to play it.

"Remember dear, Political assassinations may upset the people but noone cares about what a mining slave or sex slave says."

Heh. Slightly above my skill level.

pfft
I could do that in my sleep

I wonder if we will get to see more from the Abbey of the Everyman.

It pretty rare to see a setting where people believe in the afterlife and the "Church`s" position is they you better pray your soul dissipate into nothing.

I want a series on the mainland

Has there every been a GOOD Video Game tie in comic?

DC's Assassin's Creed comics were good, but they were all original stories in the setting.

God I hate vidya comics.

If they're still doing it, Hello Games including a short comic with the disk version of no mans sky will be the only good comic tie in and that shit doesn't even have a linear story where missing out shit is a bad thing.

The DOOM comic is perfect.

It encapsulates everything in the game.

How is DOOM? I'm thinking of getting it.

I wonder the canon ending is? High Chaos, or Low Chaos? It seems like that would greatly affect Emily's personality.

The new DOOM game is very enjoyable.

It is a pure singleplayergame with a fairly lackluster multiplayer added to it. But if you want a return to the olden days of run and gun shooters you can hardly look for a better game currently.

The DOOM comic hearkens back to DOOM 1 or 2 but well the new DOOM game fits perfectly into its narrative.

I think that inventor guy I forgot the name of, the guy you have to capture in one of your mission, is still alive in the second game. And he dies in a high chaos playthrough.

Sokolov, the Royal Scientist

Does he? I played both high and low chaos, but I thought both he and Pietro survive the assault on the Hound Pits Pub either way. It's been a while, though.

I sure hope that retarded theory that Corvo dies if you choose to play as Emily doesn't actually become true.

Because I want some family bonding over murder.

He better not die. I want to actually see some personality out of him.

I dont know if it is any way accurate. But i heard rumors that the character you dont play as stay behind in Dunwall to manage the situation there.
