I compulsively, like literally compulsively, play Crusader Kings II. I'll keep the game running all weekend and just keep on going on weekday evenings until the combination of the tedium and a half bottle of whisky finally make me fall back onto my bed asleep

This. Although they disappointed me with the new chink dlc. But mods can add the rest of Asia to the map
Path of Exile right now, pretty fun game to theorycraft and think of new, viable builds. Might get back to Crusader Kings 2 too since it has gotten bunch of new DLC since the last time I played.
DayZ, I love killing angry Russians
Thief 2
if they cared about censoring this place they would have blocked it with the fucking firewall.

Probably Left for Dead. Spent years playing that game with online friends, played comp/online tournaments that were setup on websites.
Mass effect is my favorite game series tbqh
>Left for Dead
How? That game is way too repetitive with so little variety
Skate 2
Spintires is fun too, thanks Russia.
>tfw missed the get-it-for-free-day
>flag
Yep, it checks out.
What is it with russians and HoMM3....
1) It had low enough system requirements to install it on school/work computers
2) It had a hotseat mode
3) The game was great
Battlefield 3
Completely incorrect. The maps change every time and so do spawn points of shit. It's also so chaotic it has pretty decent replay ability. I exclusively played versus though, as I said though the biggest reason I played that is I found my online OG friend group on that game. We played almost every night for like 3 years then kept on with other games n shit but it was still centered around L4D comp for another couple years. I still text two of them literally multiple times a day and we've met IRL a couple times. Shits cash yo
Well, can't argue with that. But there's plenty of great games with low requirements. I remember playing Doom/Doom2 with classmates on school computers 16 years ago or so. Man I'm old.
It's super comfy
You can play it in hotseat mode, which was super important when there was no LAN or internet.
Aesthetic of this game is godlike.Wonderful art and genius music.
Anyone else only like playing vidya from their childhood?
I'm playing Banjo Kazooie for the 9000th time. I just never get tired of it.
classic world of warcraft
You're completely right. In my mind it's one of few perfect games made, though it certainly has its balance issues and the gameplay takes some getting used to if you want to git gud.
It's just curious how it's especially popular over there, is all. I noticed on twitch, any HoMM3 stream gets russian viewers. And there's major russian streamers of the game as well.
All the Total War games are a lot of fun
same with Mount and Blade
but my favorite of all time is Deus Ex
>though it certainly has its balance issues
Well, I was 7 years old in 1999, so I didn't care about things like balance and how to get good. I had no PC by myself, and I only played games when I was in my cousins' home. They didn't even like this game so much, but it was one of few options to play all together. But myself, I was in love with this game. Just look at this:

Nu males out
This.
I played ss13 from 2014 to 2015 pretty much and every now and then I come back but I'm just disgusted with myself.
Crusader Kings 2
Total War series, from Medieval to Rome 2
Civ 5, Beyond Earth, CIv 6
Men of War
Also Stellaris
For some reason I dont really like shooters or rpg except Skyrim, some friends laugh at me because I play too hard games for "nerds"
You are a "le nu male" now for liking a videogame?
raid over moscow

Pic related, but I played it so much that I got kind of burned out by it
It's still my favourite though no question
Age of empires 2 and rocket league are all i play
