Why did he always order it "tea, earle grey, hot"?

Why did he always order it "tea, earle grey, hot"?

Does anyone drink earle grey cold? If so this has to be rare, and the computer would reasonably assume he wants it hot.

>Does anyone drink earle grey cold?
Some people gingerly sip their tea close to boiling temp, others wait for it to cool off and gulp it

They should honestly program the users favourites and just have a quick select. Or him being able to say "the usual".

Also if he needs to specify temperature, why not also quantity? How does computer know what is a standard serving of tea if it don't even know it should be hot?

yeah this. shit thread OP. I will be recommending your ban in the meta thread

>Computer, chocolate ice cream, cold.
>Computer, transport this user into the center of the nearest star.

>wait for it to cool

so it starts off hot

OP, when the thread failed.

>Computer, chocolate ice cream, cold.

>syntax error: object, type, attribute
>cold chocolate ice cream computer not found

>chilli and sea bass, hot

what would the computer provide?

>Computer, Earl Grey, hot.
>Commencing simulation, mode: erotica, steamy, user tag - XXX. Model: Earl of Grey

Ever heard of ice tea, OP

God like post.

Presumably the replicator can produce tea popsicles from scratch so you have to specify

why wont picard just ask computer to remember his tea preference so he dont need to say every time how hot and what kind of tea it needs to be?

Because Picard's a Frenchie.

probably chilean seabass, knowing what a shit job alejandro does at programming the thing

>first french starfleet captain
>first day on the job he surrenders to the enemy

what did roddenberry mean by this?

Rot and Buried was a wannabe hippie but he was spot on sometimes.

Computer: Pan, nice and hot

i do, i make earl gray tea then pour it in a glass packed with ice, nothing better on a hot day,

Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.
Disengage safety protocols.

Because Americans drink their tea cold like a bunch of weirdos, so they had to clarify it was hot tea

because people might order it warm instead
shit, sometimes people order water with a specific temperature in celsius

Why would he even need to specify "tea"? Is there a beverage with the name earle grey that isn't tea?

I would kill myself through starvation.
