Looks like Teen Titans is out of Berganza's clutches and is now being edited under Cunningham with Khouri in tow

Looks like Teen Titans is out of Berganza's clutches and is now being edited under Cunningham with Khouri in tow.

Neat. Wonder if that's both Titans books.

>muh half-Arabic heritage
Why are people obsessed with it?

It's a unique character trait that's routinely minimized so he can look like a generic Robin.

>Teen Titans under Khouri

I feel it, something I haven't felt in a long time, hope for DCKomics

He's even being coloured brown now. And he's only half white. He has a mix of different heritages (including Arabic and Chinese) in the other half.

I've only read Omega Men and Martian Manhunter (which I dropped) here. I'm assuming the rest are good too?

Do we know the editors for other Rebirth books too?

Generally speaking, everything DC puts out is good to great. You really can't go wrong with any of their books.

HNNNNNNNNNG
What is this feeling in my chest?! Is...is this hope I'm feeling...for a Titans book?

Because it's a neat idea.

I'm rather interested in this series, but I can't really understand the ages of the various titans.
I stopped reading before Flashpoint, and at the time they looked like they were almost the same age, but now there are Nightwing and Starfire that are in their mid-twenties, Raven that looks 16 and Beast Boy and Robin, but that's obvious since he's a different one that are slightly younger.
Do we have an "age range" for the different characters?

Pretty much every book Khouri edits is good to great with the exception of Dr. Fate which is ok, with great art.

Levitz is just a fossil, there's really no saving that one.

>arab heritage

Oh so violence, crime, inbreeding and mistreating women.

Interesting

>Talia is half "arab" half chinese/generic asian
>Damian somehow "half-arab"

>Berganza is still at DC

Some rebirth.

Everyone's still at DC, except Johns who has to be the movie-guy now.

I'm almost positive he's being slowly forced out because he likely cannot just be fired because of California laws.

They already took Titans and Wonder Woman away from him.

Sorry to break it to you, but they're just playing around. Khouri is not editing Teen Titans.

Yeah. Khouri's an obnoxious cunt but at least he seems to be a pretty good editor.

That's all he's editing? Too bad, Omega Men, Constantine and Martian Manhunter were great...

thank you cool news.

I like it because I'm Arab :)

Green Arrow and Suicide Squad double-ship so you can't really have an editor stretched that thin.

damian fans what do you think of super dad ?
I THINK HE IS COOL.

That's really good news. Khouri hasn't done a lot yet but most of what he's edited has been solid.

He's an editor, not a writer or artist...

He is cool.

Editors typically only edit like 3-4 books, so I'm not sure what you expect here.

I think it's a really great starting point now for DC to go in a new direction with their line.

3-4 books?

Yeah, for DCYou Khouri edited Dr Fate, Martian Manhunter, Omega Men, New Suicide Squad, and Justice League United until it was canceled.

I used to hate Khouri, but he's an actually good editor.

Oh, forgot Constantine as well. So hypothetically he could have at least two more books or one more double shipping book coming up.

Which books is Berganza editing btw?

Doesn't Doyle edit every bat book?

Cross my fingers he gets Super Sons as well.

First time I'll actually buy non classic TT.

>Doesn't Doyle edit every bat book?
And Wonder Woman

He's the group editor, the guy who oversees individual editors.

>Generally speaking, everything DC puts out is good to great. You really can't go wrong with any of their books.

Not while Lobdell exists.

Berganza does the Superbooks and what is left of Earth-2.

No. Doyle is the head editor. He has got what is left of the top talent at DC barring Khouri and that lady who edited American Alien.

He technically is, he's editing two books that are double shipping. That's twice the work than a normal book.

Speaking as an editor, even if not one who works in comics, that shit ain't easy. It's time consuming as hell.

>Generally speaking, everything DC puts out is good to great.

Lobdell and Jurgens and Levitz (as well as any other fossil from the 80s) say otherwise.

Also any book edited by Mike Cotton.

Interesting. One of his people on the Batbooks was Azz's editor on WW before he jumped to the Batbooks. I wonder if that guy will be working with Doyle/Rucka.

Goliath is now a part of the teen titans.

Why is everyone at DC secretly an Arab?

that would be cool.Tomorrow is my birthday guys.
the dami news makes me happy :)

I think damian is the only Arab hero of dc ?
I know of no other arab heros IN DC COMICS ?

Simon Baz is the hero we deserve.

Ok, I'm no fan of guns, I'm not American, but I'm pretty sure that the way the hand holding the gun and the gun itself have not been drown very well

I'm going to buy that book..

so now we have two arab heroes Simon and dami.

Quarter arabic

hee looks so cool.

I like Khouri. Dude was a total bro when i was talking to him scared over some internet bs.

He is a better editor than whoever ca has in charge now

Lebanon isnt in arabia

Would def fuck Khouri and his wife desu be honest.

he isn't just "Arab." Neither is Ra's al Ghul. Ra's was actually born in Shiraz, and so both he, Damian and Talia are Iranian. It is mentioned, however that Talia is half Chinese. So Talia's mother was Chinese arab. It would be great so see more specific representation of Damian's culture in comics!

Pics

It's not Cunningham/Khouri but it's still gone to a good editorial office.

That said, I do think that Damian is well educated in Muslim culture, just as I believe he’s well educated in Islam, but that’s because he’s well educated in all of the major cultures and religions in the world. After all, you can’t be the next Alexander if you don’t know your way about the world.

update. still seems like Teen Titans is in good hands

Is Berganza getting fired or?

How will Starfire react to Damian creating (and most likely, trying to control) the team, since she is almost 10 years older than him?

What about Titans? Do we know if Berganza is with them?

California laws on it on wack, but they may be trying to push him out or putting him on books on less books.

Wonder Woman was taken from him too and given to Doyle because of Rucka.

Maybe he got demoted.

she gives him a cookie.

Ends in sex.

Depending on why Damian did it, she might find it sad or amusing.

I know in the character descriptions that other characters "wrote", Starfire found it amusing and cute how Damian basically thinks she's a harlot for dating Dick and eventually them breaking up.

Khouri only doing 2 books is sad.

I'm still a little disappointed we're only getting her as Team Mom and not with Dick or Wally as Team Dad

>tfw trying to shift through twitter and find out

i hope Booth is the only anchor on that book

She's currently written as retard so...

>Sarfire found it amusing and cute how Damian basically thinks she's a harlot
Oh man, they need to fuck. I NEED THIS!

fuck off

That was just because she was in a slice of life comedy book. It won't carry over.

>I'm still a little disappointed we're only getting her as Team Mom and not with Dick or Wally as Team Dad
I suppose they wanted the squad to be as similar as possible to the JLvTT movie

It's also very blatantly the cartoon team up with Wally as the black guy

totally forgot there was that DTV movie

I'm totally fine with this, since one of the major reasons I got interested in the Titans and DC in general is thanks to that cartoon

It's fine. Nothing particularly noteworthy, but there are worse way to pass an hour
Should they actually go all the way with the comic to make it similar to the movie there will be a ton of RobinxRaven teasing

Not likely. He is a DC Veteran. If he gets demoted, he would have left and I am sure Johns would have given him a position under him due to their past friendship.

Pics nigger

He was demoted previously as well, and he didn't leave. It's also Time Warner investigationg.

I was going to pass on Green Arrow but this actually gives me some hope for the series.

That was from executive editor -> group editor though, a position he didn't have for very long (only around a year). That is a farcry from losing the group editor job (he has been one for 16+ years). He could easily walk or get a job with another company given the names he has on his rolodex even with his questionable history.

...

>tfw you will never be handsome and a pretty good editor

;_;

Wow you're right, they're both solid 8s.

You could still work to one of the two.

You realize that if he has Arab heritage he's more likely to be light skinned right. That Arab people's are an Arian people after all (Arian as in descended from the Arian tribes that migrated to the region).

>What about Titans?
It has the same editors as Teen Titans.

Would definitely fuck them desu.

They have made Ra's and Talia browner too so your real life arguments don't really matter

no.

Talia originally was a bit brown.

It was said in some interview a while back.

>Details on the new Titans series spill out of this week's DC Rebirth.

>After-hours meetings, editors standing guard over whirring printers, hushed hallway chatter…something big is happening in TITANS #1.

>Pressed for details, Assistant Editor Brittany Holzherr waved us off with a smirk: “Go talk to Alex.”

>So, we cornered TITANS editor Alex Antone next.

I'm currently reading everything I can find about the Teen Titans.
Is there some important story about them that wasn't written in their various series (some kind of crossover with superhero X that was written in the X series, for example)?

>clearly slanted eyes
>more yellowish than brown
>her mother was some random woman at Woodstock

Yeah but now she is full arab or something because we have to be progressive or something

They haven't made any comment as to what her ethnicity is you mong

If Damian is HALF ARAB it means her mother is full Arab otherwise he would be 1/4 Arab from his grandfather side

Not really. They're usually contained in their own title. All you have to know is Titans are usually shit.

>Wolfman/Perez
>Johns
>PAD's Young Justice
>JLA/Titans: Technis Imperative mini
>maybe Grayson's Titans
>Year One mini

Are the only ones actually worth reading.

Cassie, Conner, and Bart showed up in Red Robin some pre 52 but that's about it.

Johns' Adventure Comics had some cute stuff

she is arab- son of the demon witer says it ,
