Poorfags BTFO yet again
As soon as you go out the salted water will splash every part of your car though
Does road salt taste like table salt?
The reindeer will gather in the road, licking the salt, blocking the roads
i thought canada was cold
wtf is that
road salt
lowers the melting point of water, which thaws snow
fuck you, I just sprayed this shit off
More importantly, it rusts the shit out of your car and makes it impossible to keep clean. I wish they'd just mandate winter tires instead, driving in snow is fun.
you cant drive on snow in normal tires?
*saves your life from slipping and sliding and crashing*
what the actual fuck, canada doesn't require winter tyres by law?
Winter tires are required by law, at least in my province. They still drop salt and sand though.
You can but your more likely to hydroplane
Not well or safely. Some tires even have studs, little metal spikes throughout the tread.
You can, doesn't mean you should.
>all season tires
More like no season tires
aint that the truth
i don't understand
Good post my white friend.
Cute cunt.
>winter tires
First time I’ve heard of this tbqh what’s its difference with normalfag tires?
Cold wintry parts of the Earth put large rock salt on their roads and sidewalks so cars and pedestrians don't slip, and because salt basically melts the ices etc.
Fucking this. Hate those bastards
Normies will tell you the tread is different so they can get better grip on snow and ice. The part they don't get is that the rubber compound is softest when it's cold and harder when it's hot, which is the exact opposite of summer tires. Softer = better grip.
>tfw your city uses cinders on the road instead of salt
buy these and you will not even notice the sleet, ice and snow
I thought "winter tires" was just what you people call putting these gay chains on your wheels, didn't think they were actual different rubber.
t. Hakkapelitta shill
Nobody uses chains tho. Or well nobody who absolutly doesnt have to. We did it all the time in the Army, but not in civillian life, and I live as far up north as possible in Sweden.
Why the army but not the civilians?
A terrain going truck loaded with ammunition isnt really something you want to involve in a car accident. And we did a lot of off road too, so we just kept them on at winter sometimes
Some states prohibit studded tires because of how they fuck up the roads.
Blizzaks are good enough, I dont need that studded shit
should bring some sami to clear them up.
Id rather not drive around with a sapmi in my car all the time, even tho most of them are awsome
Studded is the way to go if you live in the north.
where do you live user?
Kiruna, Sweden.
dont you have to legally drive around with a refugee if they need a lift?
maybe the sami could protect you
Um no...? Where did you read that, Sup Forums?
What about signalling though?
I read some years ago about how they were moving the town because the mining, did you have to move or something?
they don't salt the roads here, but I live close enough to the coast that the ocean air has rusted my 10 year old tacoma. parking outdoors in a rich coastal neighborhood with perfect weather year-round really sucks. you poorfags inland don't know how great you've got it.
They are in the process of doing it. My house will be torn down in 2 years. Thankfully the mining company pays for a new one.
Weird, what are they going to do with the abandoned sector, some cool Stalker style paintball arena?
I've used my All Season (with winter approval) in snow. Did not have any problems with grip.
>parking outdoors
>rich
Over the last few years they use less and less salt and more sand. It's not so bad on your car but still not good. You can even use beat juice but I can't see that being a sustainable solution.
Really you can throw almost anything on the road to lower the melting point of water. It's the same reason you add salt to water when cooking: to increase the boiling point.

>tfw just washed the salt off my car
Those are mandatory here.
people aren't meant to live in temperatures below 15 C
Nah, until some -10 it's still fine, the problem is the amount of snow.
I genuinely feel like I'm going to die whenever the temperature approaches single digits
that's because you're part black and your genes haven't adopted to the northern climate yet
if you moved there, your offpsing would adapt in 2 generations
I'm pale as fuck m8, mum's from Northern Ireland and my dad's family are anglo
Because it barely goes into the negatives in the Netherlands.
Over here everything is frozen through almost half a year, which makes it especially slippery on the city roads.
