Just saw pic related, but since I'm a week late, I missed all the meme comments. What are Sup Forums's biggest problems with this movie?

First, that it sucks.

Second, that you're a homo.

Third, you're a homo that sucks.

I'm sure I don't speak for Sup Forums.
But it was OK to me. I think they kind of fumbled around aging everyone appropriately. I don't just mean in looks but also just showing people have grown or changed since the last time we saw them.

And just personally I don't think Jubilee should have been in it at all.

Age of Ultron: X-Men Edition

Bryan singer.

jennifer lawrence

she was the absolute worst part of the movie

just fuck off jlaw, the hunger games wasn't even that good. shit.

This. What the fuck was Mystique doing in Morph's place?

Jesus.

>Hey guise here's jubilee, welp there she goes

>week late
I hate to tell you but you're like 20 years late to seeing Ivan Ooze.

I must have missed this? When did this happen?

The Asian grill apparently nobody cared enough about to at least write her out of the scene.

All the things that I have missed. The Black Plague! The Spanish Inquisition! The Brady Bunch Reunion!

People only liked her because she was "lol so quirky and relatable".

But I think since then, even her supporters have gotten enough of her BS.

It was as about as good as I expected of Hollywood. A couple fun bits surrounded by a bunch of bog-standard Hollywood writing.

I got my quicksilver montage which is all I ever really wanted. After it ended I was like "well, don't need to see the rest."

Not as good as the DOFP scene though.

Shit, I didn't even notice her.

>so quirky
That's a supposed trait of hers? Huh.

Between her and the actress that played Jean I kept thinking why they bring on actresses that look like they're having an allergic reaction to something that ate. Puffy faces. (Scoot's actor to some extent too)

If you've seen one X Men movie you've basically seen them all.

i really liked it. Sup Forums is bitches

>tfw no X-Men movie where Magneto doesn't go full retard

>When that Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" song kicked in.
It's the only part of the movie I watched all the way through.

See? It's like they didn't gave a single fuck

felt like they could have picked a more apt song but w/e

This is more true than I'd like it to be

I liked it. I just don't care about Mystique and there was too much of her.

I think we're all just bored with X-Men

it's a lot better than the made for kids MCU movies.

I agree

The series needs time off and a reboot. Fox probably can't afford to do that since the rights would probably revert to Marvel if they went too long, and I don't really want Marvel to have them either because I like it better when the X-Men are separate from the rest of the Marvel universe and you just know they'd be incorporated into the MCU.

But really, one way or another, the series just needs to end, take a break for a few years, and start fresh. Get some new producers, new director, new writers, new cast.

I'm bored of the these movies not stretching their creative wings. They're dealing with a world in which people with powers of amazing variety live and yet so little time is spent really taking liberty with that. It's analogous to animated sitcoms like Family Guy. You have a medium to express all sorts of crazy shit and instead you pump out something that might as well be live action. What a waste.

This. It took this long in the series to get Sentinels and Apocalypse and I cant even bring myself to care about them or Mister Sinister for that matter. Each movie comes out and it never feels like anything has progressed.
>Charles and Eric have the same argument
>Mutants randomly thrown in to draw in fans and nothing more
>X Men team never feels complete or at least what it should be

Name one capeshit movie not for kids.
Of course, you can't.

Give the rights back to Marvel.

...

Watchmen

...

Yes, but because it's always the same shit.

>Wolverine is a badass who doesn't care about anything
>shit happens
>some villain who gets killed
>Magneto goes full retard
>everyone joins in to stop him
>in recent movies, JLaw Mystique is the key to everything
Same shit over and over.

>Snyder trash
But only kids like those.

>X Men team never feels complete or at least what it should be
This is a big part of the problem for me- even the good movies don't really feel like they're about the team. It's always one or two central characters, and the rest of the team is just kind of there as backup (sometimes not even that), with some members having no role in the story except to show of their powers once are twice (and even then, sometimes not even that). There's never any real sense that this is a team.

This.
No matter what happens, it always ends with
>THE NEXT MOVIE IS GOING TO BE THE ULTIMATE X-MEN MOVIE
It's as if the entire franchise was build up for something that never happens, and what they need to build up doesn't get any mention.

I mean, the ending of X-Men 3 was pretty much ignored and the DOFP dystopic future came out of fucking nowhere, with only one reference in the The Wolverine post-credits.

hell, include the dark knight too

there's so much dialog that it can't be entertaining for kids.

...

Because TDK is barely capeshit.

Days of Future Past:
>We proved that mutants aren't a threat which must be exterminated by Sentinels! The future is saved!

Apocalypse:
>Literally millions dead and hundreds of billions in damage worldwide as a direct result of Magneto's actions in posing an existential threat to the entire fucking planet
>this will not provoke a horrifying sentinels program

If you unironically watch capeshit you should have accepted that you are a manchild by now.

Super

Angel beat blob in a cage match in the opening scene. That's when I knew in my heart that Bryan singer was a hebephile

also this

It's funny because apparently Wolverine 3 happens in a dystopic future too.

I don't know what's up with Singer straight up ignoring plot points from other movies, it's as if he just doesn't care much about the plot.

DOFP's ending with Stryker having yellow eyes is completely ignored in Apocalypse.

The X Men Origins Game had a better Sentinel than DOFP and The Last Stand had god tier Beast. I fucking hate the current Beast, he looks like a weird cat man or werewolf

Then I guess Fox, the MCU and DC should start working to be more like My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

In no way made to appeal to kids.
(or anyone else, but not a kids film for certain)

Yeah, you discuss X-Men on Sup Forums like true men.

God damn what happened to Luke Wilson's career? I liked him in Blue Streak

Why do you think they were fighting sentinels in the danger room?

>trying to convince other people that you're more mature
>in Sup Forums of all places

Speak for yourself.

How's that crippling insecurity treating you?

Really fine because I get to make fun of the movie equivalent of the kids fighting over Call of Duty and Battlefield on Youtube comments.

When you do a social commentary movie you might as well retire.

fuck you're one smug son of a bitch
only kids care about being "mature"

>that webm
Sup Forums pls go

I don't like the Power Ranger with black suit

A lot of Sup Forums was mad that Jubilee didn't have more screen time
Havoc dying pissed some people off too
I think Sup Forums still has boners for Rightcopls and wanted more of him
Oh, and Disney didn't make it, so naturally, it must be shit

I didn't really have any attachment to him, but they threw Havok away like he was just a budget Cyclops they didn't need anymore.

Gays or lesbians are attacking each other, it's pretty disgusting either way.

To be fair, I don't think she really wants to be in these movies anymore. She just signed an X-Men contract before Hunger Games boosted her popularity.

I remember seeing spoilers from a few weeks ago that Jubilee died. They probably cut it because it sucked. The side-effect is that she seems pointless now.

Shes kind of stuck up

Two things that bothered me:

-Erik would NEVER willingly join Apocalypse, unless he was going to backstab him.

-I think Days of Future Past retconned X2.

Yeah, but Winter's Bone was really cool.

Oh wait, you're an ignorant fuck who has only seen the embarrassingly mainstream pablum she's been in.

Oh well, maybe one day you won't be an imbecile, spreading your stupid opinions around the Internet.

>We proved that mutants aren't a threat which must be exterminated by Sentinels! The future is saved!
I liked how even with all of the bullshit with Magneto literally moving a whole football stadium and sabotaging the Sentinels and proving that the president can't do shit to protect himself from him... none of that apparently mattered as much as whether or not Mystique killed Trask.

keep that up and jennifer might ask you to marry her

So is this movie why Marvel killed Quicksilver off in Age of Ultron?

I think the point that thing made is that not all mutants are dangerous.
Still, the fact that they let Magneto go after what happened at the end of DOFP and killing so many people in Apocalypse is bullshit.

I think they kind of made a deal regarding the twins.
It's quite suspicious how there's no Scarlet Witch in Apocalypse and how she only gets a passing reference in DOFP.

>Oh wait, you're an ignorant fuck who has only seen the embarrassingly mainstream pablum she's been in.
If she was talented it wouldn't matter what kind of movie she was in.

Uhhh, they JUST did that, two movies ago.

They just need to stop letting Singer make these. Like there's 6 X-men movies now. The ones not directed by him where terrible (Ratner) and pretty great (Vaughn) good. The ones he did direct range from meh-tier to shit-tier. So... they let him make the last two and guess what we got, a sorta of Meh movie and now a shit one.

Wow, I am so surprised. Who could have possibly predicted this impossible to foresee chain of shocking events?

>Uhhh, they JUST did that, two movies ago.
Except it's still the same movie series and it's still heavily bound by things established in the movies before it.

Her pussy and tits look pretty good though.

thought the narrative was weak/inconsistent, the characters were generally undeveloped, the weapon x section was mostly pointless other than for fanservice purposes, and even the stakes were supposedly higher than ever, I never felt that compelled

>Uhhh, they JUST did that, two movies ago.
I wouldn't fall First Class a reboot at all. Even DoFP, which hits a reset button on the timeline, is still barely a reboot since it's still heavily chained to what happened in the movies before it.

A complete reboot would be wiping the slate entirely.

>Deadpool cameo
>Pietro and Wade are sitting on a bench somewhere
>"....wait, you're not even supposed to be in this movie. What movie rights bullshit is this?"
>"........dude what."
>"Uh...well.....nevermind. Cable and Deadpool, everyone. Get hype."

Yeah, the series has been doing soft reboots, where the previous movies still matter to some degree but the events aren't being focused on.

Even with the time reset in DOFP, the series is still governed by stuff like "X character was established to be Y years old in movie Z" and such. Events have been erased but a lot of the setting and characters are still bound by things established in those movies, so you can't even say that the timeline reset made them irrelevant.

>I like it better when the X-Men are separate from the rest of the Marvel universe and you just know they'd be incorporated into the MCU

While I prefer Marvel's movies overall...I agree with this. X-men barely make any sense in the Marvel Comics universe as it is.

Plus, Marvel's movies all feel kind of same-y. I'm hoping that having a 3rd capeshit series running would allow for some kind of variation.

>It's quite suspicious how there's no Scarlet Witch in Apocalypse

I mean...if we're to believe that her being Magneto's daughter is canon in this universe...she could've been the little girl that was killed off

Quicksilver has two sisters in DOFP, one shown but not named, and another one mentioned in the Rogue Cut, where the unnamed sister says she bothers her.

That's his point.

Aside from the "they should give the rights back to marvel" faggotry the main complaints about the movie was simply too much focus on X, Magneto and Mystique and not enough of the new mutants, the horseman or Apocalypse himself.

They played it safe and that winded up biting them in the ass.

I thought it was good.

DOFP > Pookylips > Origins

It's just really average and there's not too much plot. Plus it's a dissapointment after how good DOFP was.

Deadpool

I just got out, and I will admit that it was better than I expected. However, there was just something missing that incant quite explain. When I came out of Civil War, I was like "Fuck I really enjoyed that", but not this. It felt like just another movie.

Am I wrong for actually liking that after 6 movies, we finally got a decent Phoenix?

Also, there's no way Laura isn't showing up in Wolverine.

No one suspects the Spanish Inquisition

I didn't like it. There were times were you could literally see the green screen behind the actors and the CGI was shit. I just watched Cap 3 again today and the difference in CGI is clear.

Its probably not going to be cosmic phoenix but I'm glad we got the firebird aura

Maybe now I can stop giving X3 shit. Or at least not do it as frequently.

HOW THE FUCK DID ANGEL DEFEAT MOTHER FUCKING BLOB???

Blob wasn't as Blobby therefore he was able to get his ass beat.

>Cyclops' blast causes fire

Movie ruined.

Bullshit, he was still huge. He should have wrecked that little shit.

I don't think anyone working on this knows what Blob's powers are being "he's fat."

They don't realize that fucking WOLVERINE has trouble beating him. Hell, he usually gets the shit kicked out him, and recently wrecked X23 in the comics.
