Like most protestant arguments you dont understand Catholics and are putting words in our mouths. We dont worship Mary or the Saints or statues. Thats such an overused misconception. We revere them because they obviously are inspirational and ask them to pray for us. Do you ask friends and family to pray for you. Also there have been many instances of prophets in the bible praying for the souls of the dead. Just because there have been a few anti-popes doesnt mean we all worship satan.
