Didn't get much sleep. Neighbors were blasting Air Supply at 4am. It's bad enough when you ride a bus and get forced to listen to Air Supply's greatest hits. At 4am it's a war crime.

Now they're already up doing videoke. I love this country but sometimes it makes me suffer so much.

Air Supply is absolutely beloved in this country. It's just the kind of sappy music that speaks to the heart of every PUV driver ever. They would be lucky to sell out casinos in the US but here they do great business so they will keep getting booked.

On the other hand Japanese music in the US would be extremely niche. It's not really a good fit for night clubs. Weebs would be uncomfortable in that kind of environment. It wouldn't bring in enough people to sell out a concert hall either.

Self deprecation is needed for any human imo. If you fail to accept your own personal flaws and make light of them yourself you will always feel ashamed as soon as someone else brings it up.

Myself I'm an autistic loser who works in a grocery store and has no friends. Society would shun me for that and maybe mock me. Why should I care? I'm doing what I want. If I wanted to be something else I would be working on it. I've been mocked when I talked about my situation here on Sup Forums before, it didn't hurt my feelings even though the things they said were very personal, insulting, and quite often true. I'm not insecure about my situation.

If you don't like what's being said you either need to do something to change it or learn to accept it. Shame is useless if it's followed by inaction.
