The EU

Why does it seem like politicians positions towards the EU are one of two extremes? Either hardline Eurosceptic idiots who want to destroy all the progress made since World War II or sociopathic champagne socialist idiots with their heads up their asses who want to create a superstate. Is there anybody out there who is actually fighting for a moderate EU which protects its members sovereignty but keeps all the good things like Schengen and the common market? Am I just not hearing about them because everybody else is drowning them out?

Moderates are pussies who never accomplish anything. Only extreme hardliners can get shit done.

>sociopathic champagne socialist idiots
Stopped reading.

you're very easily upset, aren't you?

sorry, Reddit

Most socialists I know are heavily against the EU though.

champagne socialist means establishment politician who uses socialist or social democratic rhetoric to achieve establishment goals

>be patently retarded
>get called out on your retardation
>start autistically screeching

Ofcourse there are, but you don't hear about them because they're not shouting to change something. They're working on perfecting the system.

You see this slag? She didn't vote in the EU referendum because she was too busy shagged in a public toilet. THAT is freedom.

you're the only person in this thread who's remotely upset
also doing that spergy shit where you pretend (You)s are upvotes

who are some good examples?

fuck off retard

what?

Piss off
Cute pupper.

For example the ALDE fraction in the EU parlement are pro EU but want more personal freedoms, transparent government and more freedom for companies to work outside their countries but stay inside the EU with only rules for them to protect the enviroment.

fucking hell how brittle do you have to be to think that OP warrants redirection to Sup Forums

fuck off to Tumblr

Guy Verhofstadt is their president though, and he's a federalist. Or at least he's argued for federation before.

He's the head of the fraction, not the boss of them.

the point of a leader isn't to ram new reforms down people's throats every time a new one comes to power. I'm tired of people memeing that gridlock is always a bad thing.

well I guess they would be /myguys/ then, because I always though the Liberal Democrats in Britain made the most sense in that country.

I don't know who are in all the seats of the parlement, but I do know some seats are taken by the VVD from my country. And their policy is to keep national if it's possible to keep it national and to make it European if Europe has a solution for it. Stimulate the economy, no economic refugees (war refugees can stay until their war is over), make it green if possible, cut down the red tape and educate the poor so they can work.

Sounds pretty centric to me.

That meme is so fucking pathetic and inaccurate. Hitler cared about his people. Fucking shit tier Alex Jones meme

You are not hearing about moderates because they are actually working. Those slogan parroting retards from both extremes are just making loud noise and nothing else.
