Coloring could be better sometimes but some sections look really great. Dialogue is kind of shitty but nice direction. Decent title I suppose.

Does anyone has a link to the two previous issue?

Bebop

>best
Sup Forums also likes Black Panther by Ta-Nehisi Coates and it's shit

Also, do I have to read the previous volume to read this?

Thank you op!

I'm dropping this book now. Lemire's dialogue is bad and I just don't care for the story he's telling.

>Sup Forums also likes Black Panther by Ta-Nehisi Coates and it's shit
Sup Forums likes a lot of mediocre trash.

>Also, do I have to read the previous volume to read this?
No.

Thanks, OP.

we're here. it's just breathtaking

...

>This art
>Dat Khonsu
holy shit

Im glad they keep giving Moon Knight a chance. I love it.

youtube.com/watch?v=TP4WoA7rBoU

If the doctors think he's completely nuts how do they explain him being a fucking ninja.

While not perfect, it's certainly not bad at all.

I think I'm just too spoiled by the art on the last run, it was just too fucking awesome.

what's some other comickino?

>comickino
Could somebody explain this new Sup Forums meme to me

>the medicine really does nothing.

Nice touch.

This writing is so...bland

If only Lemire's X-Men were as good as his Moon Knight

People misusing the word "kino" because they either
>Think it's a fun new meme they can use to post with their bros on Sup Forums
>Want to shitpost
>Actually fucking believe it means something describing high art.
It actually just fucking means "film."

>comickino
>Sup Forums meme
we started the "comickino" meme on the #1

kino just means cinema/theater on german or something like that
had something to do with BvS and how it was going to be the best movie ever

we use it unironically to say how good this comic is

They're not real doctors, Marc's masked vision is what's real

>Sup Forums also likes Black Panther by Ta-Nehisi Coates and it's shit
No it doesn't, it's mostly considered mediocre.

I'm new to Moon Knight comics and have really enjoyed these past 3 issues. What are some Moon Knight essentials I should check out ?

pic related, not so outdated so give it a go

Whatever happened to dickhead Khonshu who took the form of faceless Bushman and always bitched that Moony didn't kill enough people?

>tfw the white Moon Knight Bowen statue came out when I was still in my teens and didn't have a job
>tfw I can afford one now but have nowhere to put it

somebody storytime the others

Never read Moon Knight til this current run. Best stuff on the market.

Is this better or worse than Ellis?

Ellis' run was only the first six issues or so of the last series and it was all pretty much one-shot issues rather than an actual arc, so it's hard to compare the two. Regardless, it's fucking Ellis and this is Lemire, Ellis' was better

if anyone wants to storytime them is free to do
i may do it later, but first i need to eat

Worse.

Croco Emmet or regular?

I'm enjoying this but the formula is getting a bit stale, i'm hoping it twists around in the next issues because so far the first three ones have been almost the same thing

So what's everyone's take on Spector's madness and the actually "reality"? I suddenly had a thought while reading this issue: could those flying henchmen be the Celestial Destructor's servitor? Are we seeing the civil war events through the Spector Filter?

My thought is that it's basically They Live and all the doctors are Ammut's servants but their true form can only be seen when Marc's in Moon Knight mode

this shit creeps me out. I love this psycadelic stuff where reality constantly shifts

That makes sense, but I'm more interested in finding out just what the hell happened to the outside world and how he end up being institutionalized in the first place. The characterization along the way is fun too.

Khonshu mentioned something about a full scale invasion and hinted that Marc will have an important part to play back in issue 1 or something.

>lets your insanity guide you.

how far is he going to lose it this time?

The generic story and script does not deserve such great art

all the electro shock therapy changed Marc's interpretation of Khonshu, that's my guess. I'm of the opinion that only part of what Marc sees of Khonshu is really the god talking to him. He feels the gods presence and his fucked up brain fills in the rest.

Art and presmise is excellent.

Dialogue is generic as hell.

Electroshock would be a decent shout but this version of Khonshu also appeared in Ellis' run

i want this

"Meh, sure, take my soul to save the others."

That's a real hero.

Till he collapse or still his current mission is done? Doesn't look like he could win this battle without Khonshu-Vision.

Lemire's Bronze Age boner is really showing through in the dialogue.

I... I kind of like it

Overall, not too bad. I'd say that this is better than Brian Wood's limp-dicked run, but nowhere near as good as Ellis. How was Bunn's run? Didn't read it.

>The art in this comic gives me a boner.
You should check out the 2014 Moon Knight run. The first eight comics were great, if a bit trippy.

I have no clue what is even going on. I know that Moon Knight apparently rebooted, but what the fuck is even happening? Why is Moon Knight suddenly seeing gods everywhere?

He has a god inside his head and is insane. Why shouldn't he be seeing things everywhere?

Honestly, I'm just happy to be along for the ride like this. I may be disappointed if they keep delaying plot advancement, but I can take at least another couple of volumes of these trippy realities collide type of stuff.

>How was Bunn's run?

It was okay. Not as good as Ellis, obviously, but Bunn did his best Ellis impression and it worked out.

bump

WTF is with this cover?

Did you look through the thread before asking?

>Lead us through the dark. It's what I do.

Best line in a Moon Knight comic since the Ellis run.

Best Marvel book right now.

Is that bitch gonna end up being Stained Glass Scarlet?

Well that is fucked. FUCKED.

WTF is going on?

Last volume was better, the first few issues in particular. First volume at its best is AMAZING.

Bunn just copied Ellis and it turned out OK.

The art is the only thing this book has going for it. Lemire is a fucking bore.

Thanks, OP.

No, it's considered mediocre on Sup Forums.

I liked it by the second issue, but this issue does nothing to really advance the plot. I'd expect a trippy psychological thriller to be more fast paced and twisted than this.

Agreed, I hate that this constantly happens, putting great artists with mediocre writers and vice versa.

Also someone give Bellaire a medal, she deserves it after carrying so many books with her great coloring. Don't think I've seen Smallwood's art on anything before but will have to look out for him from now on too.

bumping for others.

He did the art on Wood's Moon Knight and had a creator owned series at Dark Horse called Dream Thief.

Why cant the main books have this level of art?

>Smell that? thats new york city
New york city is more pungent than a literal sewer.
