Emily Jean is Amazing Not sure what letterboxd is all about? The mission of /lbg/ is to promote the intelligent discussion of film as art by providing members with opportunities for intellectual discussion, by recognizing patrician taste through examinations and by calling out embryos as they arise.
>Directions for use Post profiles and discuss what you have recently watched, if you dare.

>News user BTFO for the nth time: Anons wahoo for /lbg/: Randy Melvin has major coinkydink: user gets tricked: Andrew Garfield posts in thread: Use as a link to find the /lbg/ thread.
Remember the following: >Patricians occasionally read these generals and have posted here before. >Patricians may pretend to be normal users asking for recommendations and when you recommend something, they laugh at you for your plebian taste >This is a thread for patrician purposes only don't offer or expect frivolous discussion.
Guys, I'm shaking. I'm fucking shaking. I never wanted to breed with anyone more than I want to with Emily Jean. That perfect, curvy body. Those bountiful breasts. The child bearing hips of a literal goddess. It honestly fucking hurts knowing that I'll never mate with her, pass my genes through her, and have her birth a set of perfect offspring. I'd do fucking ANYTHING for the chance to get Emily Jean pregnant. A N Y T H I N G. And the fact I can't is honestly too much to fucking bear. Why would God create something so perfect? To fucking tantalize us? Fucking laugh in our faces?! Honestly guys, I just fucking can't anymore. Fuck.

I think cinema has been a great disappointment. Those extraordinary apologists, most of them were either Belgian or French in around 1910, all imagined that cinema would be a glorious, magnificent dream machine equivalent to the enormous excitement of the human imagination, but I don't think it's worked out like that at all. I think cinema now is a rather tedious examination of bedtime stories for adults. It is very disappointing.

Have you seen more Marker than Level 5?
Owen Adams
not yet any reccs? It's basically my first essay kino, was pretty interesting
Jayden Moore
Start from the beginning. He is a very good director, if you can call him that. With his more historical works some background reading will help, like European labor movement for A Grin Without A Cat.
Alexander Rodriguez

Why do people watch anything after 1939
They watch things 60 years ago. What's another 20 years

I know right. Rules of the Game already came out in 1939

Night of the scorpions had a few nice flourishes but was really slow, felt 2.5 hours long or something. Really ugly blu-ray too, hope the eurocrime double I bought from Dorado looks better The vagrant was good fun (although arguably not as fun as the poster and tag line which own), I'm sad Bill Paxton is dead now

Film isn't an intelligent medium, you can't construct a decent argument with it since every edit is a lie and bias. There is already a medium suited for academic essays and that is the written word
Mason Sullivan
ah yes written word, that notoriously free-from-bias medium really smart and good post, thanks for this one, much appreciated
Colton Allen
Also DW Griffith already made the first essay films. No fucking obtrusive narrator like Chris "Hack" Marker. It's really nothing new, it's been done a million times already in the 1910's.
Aiden James
You would know something as basic as that if you knew anything about film history.
William Clark
is dodsworth kino?
Brandon Bell
>digital media Cancer. Also William Wyler's worst film. Get better taste, babby
This isn't the real Andre Bazinga, not even he can be this self-contradictory. It's someone role-playing as him and being contradictory to whatever is said no matter what. It's got to be.
