when greece and italy were the first to build true civilizations with real buildings, it's not surprinsing to see the rest of Europe making the same for thousand of years as the result. some have drastically changed the architecture (like the german and the spanish) but some kept it the basic way like us. you can't blame for just making basic european architecture. you should actually be proud of italy's and greece's architecture to be so widespread throughout europe to north america. don't be mad
