with shit characters

That's a lot of hate

I loved this movie as a kid and still kindda enjoy it now.
Not a master piece but good flick never knew why it was hated so much.

It's a fun big-budget monster flick. There aren't that many out there. Sure it's far from what Godzilla as a character should be but the action scenes are still entertaining. The first 30 minutes are legitimately exciting but after the first attack to NY it starts to go downhill with stupid plot and characters.

weebs hate it

much more entertaining than the boring invincible weebzilla

yeah I agree, everytime it begins to rain heavily I think back to the first NY scene

This place is so shit I have no idea who's serious, who's trolling and who's just plain dumb

Emmerich also hate this flick

godzillia is a 10th as big as that in the movie

The characters being overly cartoonish ruined it harder than it deserved but Jean Reno was still based.

>The first 30 minutes are legitimately exciting but after the first attack to NY it starts to go downhill with stupid plot and characters.
The last acts are good entertainment.

i guess he hates the day after tomorrow too

True. The taxi chase scene is kino. I've never seen anything more entertaining in any giant monster film ever!

Is this the worst thing matthew broderick has ever done?

Pic related says hello!

rap rock was big at the time

I was 8 years old when that movie came out and I thought that song was the shit

>flick
You mean kino

like independence day this movie has a surprisingly interesting first act.
as soon as the big enchilada drops however it's going down

Pretty much every Roland Emmerich movie is the same. Very interesting first act and the rest is mediocre or shit.
