Worst Comics Ever

What are the worst comics you've ever read? Something with bad art, story, dialog, colors, etc.

>implying you could tell "bad" art from "good" even if you were slapped in the face with em

The Widening Gyre. Hands down.

The Unfunnies is up there but it was intended to be bad in a shocking way so I dunno.

Punk Rock Jesus, has great art but the story heads into a pretty stupid direction midway.

Saga managed to irritate me

Batman Inc.
The issue inside the internet 3.0

There was no payoff whatsoever other than dead Spiders left and right.

Battle of the Atom. The worst piece of garbage Bendis has ever shat out. So far.

Some sjw shit I didn't read or some independant comics that is not good nor bad enought to get attention.
Everything else is a bad answer.

DC Rebirth

I have to agree with this just on principle. A complete hack whose horrible premise should have never gotten past the pitch stage gets complete freedom because he's a C-list celebrity. Then he's allowed to enlist his high school friend with no art experience or training to draw what I would consider the worst drawn professional comic of all time.

The Unfunnies.
It was the most aptly named comic in history, though.

Where are all these Miller idiots coming from who pretend that he has never made a bad drawing when his skill has obviously deteriorated to John K. levels of self parody

Whats so bad about it? That chick is cute.

The set up issues and edge of spider verse alone should save it from being labeled in a "the worse" list.

>Whats so bad about it?

TDKSA is the best pleb filter in the Big 2.

I've never read it faggot.

Countdown
Ultimatum
Ultimates 3
Bendis X-men

Tastes like chicken.

Didn't Morrison wrote that?

He's pointing out how bad the art is in that pic. Alfred has a xenomorph head.

Yeah, I even love Kevin Smith's Fatman on Batman and tons of his other stuff, but he's like Mark Hamill, in that he needs a good slap in the face when he tries to retroactively change Year 1 to include his writing quirks.

I wonder how many people who shit on DKSA have actually read it and how many are just parroting the meme

>Mark Hamill
I mean Millar, disregard me, I suck cocks.

...

Yeah, I was curious about that.

Its one small undetailed panel. That's not enough to tell me anything especially when the rest of the page is perfectly fine. I've seen worse from other big 2 shit.

This. Even Frank Miller's other projects have serviceable art.

This one is shitty, and it tries to pass it off as "symbolic".

casuals detected.

It's weird that Alfred is upset that Bruce had sex with his fiance.

Is that all?

It's a fantastic look in a mad man's mind, I'd rather have this than pop-comics.

It was pretty bad. Kevin Smith had no business writing Batman

>m-muh batgod

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

But WHY?

>ruining an iconic scene for no reason

no one would have cared if he created a scene where that happened

not that I expect a retard who uses the "batgod meme" to understand anything anyway

Nothing about the original scene has been changed. Don't let your autism get you down.

Spider-Man One More Day and A Moment in Time.
For obvious reasons.
Avengers Disassembled too.

I read this long ago, what happens on it?
I remember something about evil future mutants that say they're the X-Men but actually aren't or some shit.

dk2/dk3
spiderman/blackcat 'evil that men do'

Sam Humphries Ultimates. Loeb's looks like a masterpiece in comparison

Kill Your Boyfriend
Our Love is Real
Wanted

No. It's right, actually. Leto sends people sex toys to get in character. Hamill whites terrible, terrible comics and sends them to incompetent editors using the names of coked up, hack writers.
All you see is the cool old guy with the sweet beard. Not the monster.

Sounds like you're the one with autism, since you're literally completely unable and unwilling to see the problem with inserting potty humor in an iconic scene. It wasn't a comedy book, it was played straight.

In fact that's what Widening Gyre was all about. Potty humor, sex jokes, cursing, overly-graphic violence, all in a serious tone with no real substance to back it up besides juvenile, pop-filled dialogue. It was trash and an insult to not only the character, but comics in general.

You'd probably love it.

Turns out they are the new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Older Jean Grey is the new Xorn, Older Jean dies.(What else is new), the 5 original X-Men try to use the time machine to go back home but figure out they are stuck in the present for some reason.

THEN it turns out Beast, Molly, and Ice Hulk were being mind controlled by Xavier II so they would helplessly follow him on his path of Evil.

Well since Unfunnies has already been mentioned...

Kick-Ass #4-8

Any comic that was really designed to be a TV/Movie pitch.

>completely unable and unwilling to see the problem with inserting potty humor in an iconic scene.
>muh iconic scene
You fucking baby. Maybe you're too autistic to be reading shared universe comics by many different writers.

>Using "muh" and "autism" as an argument for the second time

Thanks for exposing yourself as a retard to the entire thread.

Assigned Male. Wasn't even in the "so bad it's good" category, just plain bad. I'm glad its fifteen minutes of infamy came and went.

>miyazaki

Stay the fuck away from my Dark Souls, nuMarvel.

...

An offhand joke doesn't ruin the original scene. There's nothing inherently bad about using continuity for a joke.

ASBAR
It's funny if you read it as a parody of Batman, and it has some interesting ideas like Bruce actively wanting an apprentice instead of Dick falling in his lap I guess? But literally everything else about it is terrible. Pacing, dialogue, pacing again. Miller really shouldn't have done standard 22 page issues.

And Trouble for Aunt May being a slut.

What's your problem with Mark Hamill mang

Think Gaiman should have given Angela to someone else or would the result have been the same as this?

Aunt May has always been a slut. Giving it up to Doc Ock on the first date

He did but the art was atrocious.

Maximum Carnage
Literally every single X-Men comic I've ever read
Anything with retarded Bendis-like dialogue, bad art (by bad art I mean drawing a scene that should take a full page or two in a third of a page instead or hamfisted political commentary (which is why I hate X-Men)

Pretty sure she meant the other one.

It's easily the worst comic I own. Granted, I don't have the most impressive collection.

We talking about Maximum Carnage or an X- Man book?

fight club 2
joker's daughter
ultimates 3

pic related plus the following:

anything by fagtion
anything by ksd
anything by kate leth especially Patsy Walker
Squirrel Girl
anything sjw published by Marvel
almost anything by Marvel post-NOW actually

What's the name of that absolutely awful Superman run? Where he's telling other aliens that they can't live on Earth?

Is it American Alien I can't remember...

i own it and love it

>anything by fagtion

Even Hawkeye?

Grounded

You know, even Ditko's right wing ramblings had some great art and were interesting to read. Miller's just feels like it was meant to vent his 9/11 anger and not be published, Yet somehow it was.

Hey, Daredevil and Ms. Marvel are really damn good. And then theres the star wars stuff.

>sonichu
>bad
ok

At least DC probably stopped it from being a Batman comic like he originally planned

Bomb Queen, by far nothing even comes remotely close. There isn't a single redeeming quality about it. I would actually read the Unfunnies over this heaping pile of canine excrement.

It has tits. And BQ is hot.

>Marvel Ruins
It was sad, and unpleasent to read

>The new tumblr squirrel girl
Its just... so awful

>BQ
>bad art

You know I wouldn't mind the blatant sexualization at all if the characters weren't all such complete sociopaths. Like, Cutey Honey works because the titular character is fun and likable, Everyone in Bomb Queen is hateful as fuck.

JMS Wonder Woman is worse than Grounded. At least you remember Grounded

This won an Eisner.

>won an Eisner
The depths of shit we wade through nowadays is astonishing.

Gonna cry about it?

Immortal Iron Fist is also good.
Fuck, I even like parts of Sex Criminals.

Despite the perpetually different art, Squirrel Girl is a fun book.

I'm just saying, were there really no other worthwhile comic books to give it to that year?

What catagory?

That one extremely popular comic that is nonoffensive and has no faults other than not being indie.

>Shit like this throughout the book
How can you stand it?

I don't see anything about it winning. It's nominated this year for New Series, so calm down

No it didn't

Literally doesn't faze me at all. Stop getting mad at corporate ips

Every event comic in the past 10 years has been a huge waste of time. Every. One.

Lois Lane from 1986.

Not "Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane" but a 2 issue mini-series right before Superman rebooted so it was pre-crisis.

So right before Crisis Superman and Lois Lane break up and he starts dating Lana in the main book. A dejected Lois gets a mini-series where she decided to find missing and exploited babies. The babies wind up missing and if they are recovered then "they're no longer virgins." Yes, you read that right, this comic deals with baby rape!

The comic specifically mentions that Superman could find the missing babies before they get raped, but since Superman chose Lana over her, Lois will find the kids on her own! Yes, apparently Lois is so petty that she's fine with Babies getting raped because Superman decided to date someone else!

Now all this on its own would make the comic a horrible comic, but it gets worse! Pre-crisis Lana Lang traveled the world after leaving Smallville but before coming to Metropolis in the 50's. This comic reveals what happened that caused Lana to live in Metropolis. Apparantly in Europe she had a secret marriage to a a rich Italian. They had a before now never mentioned baby. The baby was kidnapped by terrorists who proceed to cut off the baby's ear and send it to Lana before the baby is eventually murdered!

Now remember, this is Pre-crisis Lana. The one who gets turned into Insect Queen and has wacky adventures! Who's best friends with Superboy! Why did Lana never call her childhood friend Superman to help her recover her missing Child? Heck, why keep her marriage, pregnancy, and birth a secret? It's never explained. What's worse is this is the same continuity where Superman literally wen across the galaxy to rescue Pete Ross's kid when he was kidnapped. Superman literally changed time and history itself so that Pete and his kid had a happy ending, yet Lana won't reveal her dead baby to Superman despite dating him in the comic.

This.
This is the worst comic series I have ever read. The writing are certifiably retarded as is the artwork.

That one Batman arc where Cassandra Cain pulls a heel turn.

This sounds 100x worse than anything else in the thread

Except for maybe Unfunnies
