the Addams were rich so she's probably hangs around the house like the rest of her family

and Lydia became a normie after the events of beetlejuice

>Vincent Gallo will never be brought to justice from ruining chubby Christina Ricci
He ought to be shot and burned.

>and Lydia became a normie after the events of beetlejuice
That gets to boogie down with Ghosts on the ceiling if she gets good enough grades.

well she wasn't depressed anymore

We will have to see what happens in Beetlejuice 2.

With Michael Keaton closer to death and Ghostbusters finally making its long awaited comeback, Uncle BJ could very well return from development Hell.

On Lydia, I agree with , it was probably just a phase. She did seem the artistic type, so maybe she has a career in design or some such.

Wednesday probably grew up to be a knockout like her mom, married and got out of the house. But it's hard to judge what kind of man she would want. Someone who's completely in love with her who she can torment, a guy with the same macabre tastes to be her partner, or someone with a stronger will who can lead her in a marriage.

She married a porno star just like the real Wednesday

I never got the appeal of goth/edgy Wednesday.
I though the whole joke of the Addam's family was that they were eccentric, but friendly people outside their morbid interests.

It was the 90's. Also it was more based on the second cartoon adaptation, where rather than just being creepy on the outside but nice on the inside they were more of a reversed values family. So something "nice" a normie would hate they loved and vice versa. Although even there Wednesday wasn't evil, she tortured Pugsley, but he enjoyed it and she was proper nice to the neighbor's kid NJ.

Eh if you go "normal people who look weird" you end up with The Munsters. They have to have some edge to differentiate them.

>Ghostbusters finally making its long awaited comeback
AH HAHAHA, god no, user.

>Be a little kid
>Be dying of Cancer
>Make a Wish Foundation comes and asks what you want
>"I wanna meet the ghostbusters"
>They send these people for a PR stunt rather than Bill Murray

wednesday did alright for herself.

It always bothered me how the live action versions made Pugsley borderline retarded and Wednesday the incarnation of all evil. In the original things, Pugsley was a slightly wicked child genius, and Wednesday was more or less a normal girl who liked creepy shit. I wonder why they altered them so much?

The movies took a lot of liberties though. Fester was originally Morticia's uncle I believe, instead of Gomez's brother.

Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian has been in talks for a while now, but everyone involved wants to do it.. so it's just a matter of approval.

she maddied the jewish kid from camp! cmon that ship NEEDS to sail
the adults yeah. the kids were more like.. 'oh wow kids are actually like that aren't they. they're kinda casually cruel' even in the old days

>the kids were more like.. 'oh wow kids are actually like that aren't they. they're kinda casually cruel' even in the old days
I don't think that's correct.

pugsly, maybe.

I really love the Charles Addams cartoons. Really original for their time too.

>tfw no crossover with The Munsters and The Addams Family

...

That pic makes me think of the Addams Family/Scooby Doo crossover.

I remember the part where they're all eating together, except the food was inedible. The bread was literal stone. And the chicken was still alive, but was served as a meal.

This always confused me. Do the Addamses need to eat? Can they somehow consume it? Do they just choose to starve themselves for the sake of a spooky gag? There are two children there though, do they choose to not eat too? Are the Addamses undead or something? Do they sustain on people's fear of them?

Te Addams family has shown self-destructive urges before though. In the same episode, after nearly being torn apart by a squid, Gomex laments that he got away after it let's him go. He obviously wanted to be killed by it, it seems. Do the rest of them share these urges and desires? In the episode, Wednesday got kidnapped, and aside from Grandmama asking Mystery Inc to find her, they didn't seem too troubled by her disappearance. Did they care she might have been killed? No one bothered to help Scooby and the gang look for her. They were weirdly ambivalent towards the whole thing.

...

...

I think it's best look at is if they all have some weird level of cosmic invulnerability.

Perhaps they figured Wednesday would find her way back home eventually.

Like they all have maxed luck stats, but they keep trying for shit rolls.

I imagine they'd each consider the other to be weird and wouldn't be unfriendly to each other but also wouldn't want to spend time together either
>Oh, it's Gomez Addams, I hope he doesn't spot us-OH HI! How are you? Nice weather huh? How's the family?

The Addams family movie was god-teir

I imagines Grandpa and Fester would get along quite well, plus Grandpa would probably put the moves on Morticia.

Speaking of Grandpa, interesting trivia: Yvonne De Carlo (Lily) was actually a year older than Al Lewis.

Grandmama immediately hits on Grandpa much to his horror

They're all pretty much sadomasochists. Part of the joke is that they like to engage in activities that should be lethal, but the joke basically ends with you going "wait, what?!" and it's best not to think about how they're able to survive.

I don't get it.

One of the dolls has three legs.

Is that...does she have Thing holding her info plate in her mugshot? 10/10 attention to detail.

IF (and that's a big "if") it comes back, it probably will be a reboot, or one of those reboot/sequel hybrids that are so popular there days.

I'd prefer an animated comeback.

I ship it.

I imagine Wednesday would end up a lot like that Bruce Timm "murder/suicide" love story except neither can die and they try for more extreme things like mocking elder gods.

Lydia is a legitimate friend of the underworld so I bet she ends up in some sort of occupation that lets her help/see/explore more of that. Like an Archaeologist or an Anthropologist studying about differences in death culturally.

I always imagined Wednesday as growing up to be like her mom or at least like Christini Ricci.

how much of a beating could either take before their deathwish facade slipped?

cheating whore or typical lesbian infidelity?

Lydia, not much. Wednesday could die with a smile on her face without making a sound.

lesbians have the highest rates of divorce and domestic abuse

If you count the musical's live tour, she married Lucas Beineke. I think the musical's pretty shit tier though. They chose to have the plot revolve around Wednesday yet made her seem normie with zero one liners.

Pictured here is a viable option.

>Christini Ricci.
good taste my broham

yeah, what's up with Wednesday looking forever 12 here

Wait, what's the age difference between them?

Yea it's really weird, especially since Lydia is full on sexpot adult femme fatale.

R.I.P Adult Wednesday Addams

In my room

maybe she's just short like Ellen Page or Emily Browning?

If we're talking the movie versions, Ryder is 9 years Ricci's senior

I want more of this image, more of this artist and these two.

Fucking troof!

Well, you know shippers and their obsession with height difference.

Based on that picture, prison.

Depending on the media Wednesday age range from 6 to 18.

i feel the urge to post this in the green lantern twitter thread

combination of a certain form of sadomasochism(in the live life to the fullest even if it kills you sort of way), mixed with a very unusual combination of luck(both good and bad) and heightened durability

also reminds me that I should give the two LA movies a watchover again while they're still on Netflix, cause they're really fun movies, especially love how they expanded the family out into this large international clan of wealthy lethal weirdos

Wednesday could just be a very late bloomer is all

> Morticia and Homer approve

cute.

>homer

>Homer

Wifeswap with the Simpsons when?

That's his name in Latin America I believe?

It's a foreign translation, since Gomez is typically a Spanish surname.

Homero, oddly enough.

Harmony filled out

>Beetlejuice being okay with it

Bull. Shit.

Itt sexy as aways.

>refusing threesomes
Are you gay?

cartoon Beetlejuice is alot more friendly than movie BJ

eh, looked better in the one piece desu senpai
hell, all the girls in orange are at least solid sevens
no pedo

>Hurt her and I'll kill you

What did he mean by this?

It's something possessive(ha! possession) assholes say, just get over it.

>not wanting to stake adult Harmony repeatedly
>looked better in the one piece as a child
>all the children in the oranges are solid 7s
>no pedo

Are you negative in your charisma rolls

There's late blooming and there's fucking turner syndrome

>7777

I can't get over it.

that pun doesn't deserve those quads

>laughing at your own pun
Shameful display. Waste of quads

What a loser.

Still counts, regardless.

They're worried that if they send him, the kid will just keep dying day after day.

...

He should be completely terrified on Wednesday. There's no way she doesn't know like 10 spells to trap him or enslave him or make him into an obedient little maid girl.

Lydia marries Edward Scissorhands.

Wednesday marries Eddie Munster.

You think her spooky godparents would approve of Scissorhands?

it's not possible to roll negatives since standard dice don't go below 0
you could have an imposed negative penalty though and a low die roll could not offset it

4'8 is qt height

>Lenore

My ex used to have a huge goth streak, and would read stuff like this and Twitch. Was it any good? I still have her books since she never wanted them back.

10/10 taste user. Now we're talking.

Though being the fag that I am, I also kinda ship Eddie with Pugsley too.

Wednesday likes fragile boys. There's not much less fragile than a werewolf.

Speaking as a guy who is literally sitting in a goth club this second, collected a good deal of Slave Labor Graphics comics (including Skeleton Key, JTHM, Lenore, and the shit Voltaire made), and listens pretty heavily to old school Industrial, goth, and death rock: No. Lenore is crap. Early Gloom Cookie is good. Vasquez does ok stuff even if JTHM's happy noodle boy can be blamed for a good deal of "lul so randumb" shit, but otherwise his stuff is worth checking out.

The way I figure it, Death came for them a long time ago. But they were so happy he came to visit and showed him a nice time he just doesn't get from anybody ever, so he just kinda... lets em keep at it so he has more excuses to come visit, always saying he'll "do it proper next time"

Not many people enjoy a life persuing death, after all.

In short, what I'm trying to say is Roman Dirge makes shit. Jhonen Vasquez makes relatively ok shit. Voltaire is hit/miss depending on mood. Serina Valentino is a good writer, but her comic looses my interest as the artists change. Andi Watson kicks ass, but the comics are not entirely goth in niche. Robert Tritthardt's Write and Shine is good. His other comic is ok.
Rikki and Tavisha do some good work, and themselves are goth, but make comics that tend to not be goth. Their old comic "Reality Check" is super cute and fun... and childish. But fun.
