Should DC push Midnighter more? He's already a fan favorite and had a solo title, but they barely give any attention to him. I feel he has more potential to become a popular character than generic Batfamily member #45345335.

Only thing that matters is if it sells well.

Why would they push a character that doesn't sell?

Fucking Vixen has a solo animated series and made appearances on others. And she never even had a solo book.

Well, Seeley and Orlando did say that they'll continue using him.
But honestly, as with all things, it all comes down to the writer. If giving him more spotlight means he'll be written by Lobdell or Humphries, I'd rather Middy stays in the shadows.
I'm sure we all still remember Nu52 Stormwatch.

Is his book still going post-Rebirth like Dr. Fate and a few others, or is he being shuffled into some other book?

>Is his book still going post-Rebirth like Dr. Fate and a few others
No

>or is he being shuffled into some other book?
See you in Nightwing.

No.

Only if they made him straight.

Gay male characters don't sell and will never sell.

Make him straight, and he can join the based batfamily

Don't Midnighter and Cassandra Cain/Batgirl have the same power set?

Vixen is straight and has mass sex appeal

It's business

He's already part of the Batfamily, you don't need to be straight to do that. We're talking about another solo.

>fan favorite
Pfft! Those sales numbers beg to differ.

No, not even close. I love Cass, but she has no chance against Middy.

As long as it's written well. If not, better to keep him as a side character. Somehow it seems like all the Wildstorm ppl work better as side characters. Ah, I weep.

Middy's solo book was fantastic though.

>Fucking Vixen has a solo animated series
they're just low budget 4 minute shorts that nobody gives a fuck about.

No he isn't.
I doubt he'll get another solo book in the next 5 years.

That it was, man. That it was. Here's hopin' for more.

>appears in Grayson
>saves everyone in B&RE
>appears in Nightwing
Face it, he's in the Batfamily.

>Nobody
>Was one of the most watched CW shows

Lol. Vixen has alot of pull. She runs circles around midnighter

but Kate is gay you dumbfuck.

Generic member of the Batfamily means sells better than 70% of the industry.

He just had an ongoing and it didn't sell.

He's probably not getting a starring role like that again anytime soon.

I'd expect him in an Authority book before his own again.

no, last time DC pushed by him having a Twitter Post about him, people were tweeting up in arms about the Gay Agenda.

I don't know man, these two characters have helped batman and have appeared in more books, but they aren't regarded as part of the bat family.

>one of the most watched CW shows
Yeah, not really

Catwoman definitely is though.

If anything. BRE showed exactly why Midnighter cannot ever become a part of Batfamily. A competent writer wouldn't have even thought of putting him for the exact reason that's demonstrated in that very comic: Middy can instantly, trivially solve any problem Bat characters could have and thus invalidates them all single-handedly. Even Batman himself becomes completely unnecessary when you have Midnighter around.

>Gay MALE
Learn to read, dumbass.

Lesbian characters sell more than gay male characters.

And you're on the team because of how well you sell, or your appeal

Midnighter actually has fans? JUST

I'm still pissed EW wrote about the series AFTER it was over.

Do I need to read anything before reading the standalone or is it fine just picking it up?

DUDE NIGHTWING RAPE LAMAO

What about Harley?
>But she's a villain
She's on the same level as middy

Catwoman is considered part of the Batfamily

>Harley Quinn

Give it time

It would be better if you read Grayson #1-7 before.

>She's on the same level as middy
Not really. Although she has stupidely been shown as more of an anti-hero in her solo book, her other appearances still depict her as a villain.

He's in good hands for now if Seeley writes him in Nightwing. My hope is that some more people will be intrigued enough to pick up his based solo.
I don't think he'll star in anything anytime soon either, but it's good that Seeley and Orlando don't want to let him slink back into the shadows.

He seems really popular on Sup Forums, Comic Vine and Reddit

You'll be fine if you dive right in, although Grayson does explain how those two know each other. And gives more information on Spyral and the Garden, I guess.

Thank god for Seeley's and Orlando's love for Wildstorm.

You can do a low-budget action movie with a lot of violence starring Jason Statham as Midnighter. I think he'd do a great manly and buff homosexual character.

>Hey, Apollo, honey. A gonna put it in now, Relax ya butthole

Yeah, can't really argue with that. Instead of three Jokers we'd have none.

They're Batman's bitches, though. Gotham Vixens and all that.

I still want Hardy as Middy.

If you want an angry British man, get Tom Hardy. No one calls someone else a cunt better then Hardy.

comichron.com/monthlycomicssales/2016/2016-04.html

first generic member of batfam book is Batgirl all the down at #52
though that is actually within the top 14%

lowest selling is We Are Robin, at #123 which is actually 2.5% outside the top 30%, but close enough that yeah, you're completely right

Too high-profile. I said a low budget movie.

Hardy has no inherent budget restrictions, Locke was literally him in a car for 90 minutes and he's willing to show up for five minutes an episode on Peaky Blinders.

Tom Hardy it is, then.

Reading that in his voice made me laugh, thanks for that.

I want Channing Tatum for Apollo, would that be good?

Eh, I can see it working.

Who's the black guy?

Luke Fox
