For the 2000 one, Brak.
For the 2004 one, Plank.

>re-elect
Wait, did they really win the 2000 election?

Anyway, here's hoping we get another one this year. It's been way too long.

They didn't, Scooby Doo did I believe.
It was meant to be a strawman of the Bush/Cheney administration.

Ed because no one could find a flaw with him. That and his campaign was honest.

>abloobloobloo grim's a tyrant
>coming from the nigga that calls himself "Numbuh One" despite not even running anything but four other pantswetters
Nigel was a punk-ass bitch and I'm glad he lost.

>tfw we probably won't have another

I believe in Steven

The cookie, user.

>Steven
>Running anything
His cabinet would just be a bunch of neurotic lesbians on top of that, who the fuck wants that.

>the campaign ads where Brak just superimposed his face into the old Eisenhower campaign ads.

>we will never have this level of creativity with random ads again.

>Yogi Bear ran an attack ad which recreated that nuclear countdown ad.

youtube.com/watch?v=eUp5kygJL8g

>Steven universe vs Gumball Watterson vs Finn
>Steven's bashing campaign of the other candidates is narrated by pearl or peridot
>finn's campaign is focused on heroics and how cowardly the other two are
>Gumball's campaign is run by his mother.
I'd follow that more closely than the actual elections.

Teletoon did something similar around the same time. Never knew they stole it from CN.

I voted for Clover. Kid Paddle and Jude just didn't seem right for the job.

MAKE EARTH GREAT AGAIN

#buildaplaneterywall

Considering CN's recent trend with crossover's It's a sign that they're going back to the old days of CN City and when all the showrunners would actually communicate with each other so it's possible.

>CN city
You do realize they had massive crossover ads WAY before the city.
Between the CN office bumpers and the Cartoon Cartoon Fridays bumbers.

I actually liked the office ads way more than the city ones. A lot more personal interaction in them

>Clarence is the third party nobody actually votes for

Who'd run this year?

Probably Steven, Finn, and Benson.

>yfw the old office/city commercials return
>yfw they do those election events regularly again
>yfw they bring back Cartoon Cartoon Fridays

Benson/Gumball/Clarence/Uncle Basedpa all seem like possible third parties honestly

Uncle grandpa would be the one asking each candidate their stance on issues.

>this ends up being the plot of an actual UG episode where he teaches all of them how to be better politicians
i'd watch it

Johnny Bravo (Bubbles won down here)

his administration would be what Canada has now

That one where everyone calls in sick and they take a jab at Quickie Koala was golden

Also the groups getting back from lunch,
youtube.com/watch?v=ZGgDNF9wHZg

>Wise Papa Smurf...
>Corrupted by his own power!
>CAN NO LEADER GO UNTAINTED!!!!!

>Scooby Doo riding with Speed Racer
>"You don't have any sense at all!"

Favorite is still the one with Ugh showing Double D around

youtube.com/watch?v=bb5IkWHfBgY

The one I was invested in had Screwy Squirrel running. Instead we got scooby doo. Marathons of Scooby Doo. I hated SD back then. I'm indifferent to it now, but love MI.

There was also one where Freakazoid was running. I wanted him too. It would have been amazing.

Poor Ugh.

The Sidekick one is the best of them all. I can't post it now since the link gets fucked up on my phone but it's incredible.

Mayor Dewy.

>Dino Boy hiding from Ugh
>Fred, Thundarr, and Chicken all getting back from lunch together like in

Little things like that.

There's a beautiful amount of care and detail in these. Damn shame they're ded.

>Everyone has unibrows
>I'm afraid for my puppy!
>Petting a cat

Holy shit, some of these were really funny.

Cartoon Network commercial thread?

youtube.com/watch?v=CgWrVC_Afio

Uncle Grandpa is pretty much Vermin Supreme anyways

youtube.com/watch?v=0CrQ44o_zwM

>Tfw the candidates for a pretend election on a children's network are legitimately better than the candidates we get to choose from IRL.

How the fuck does that happen?

If the future is lookin dim, better choose Grimm

are you me?

i was so disappointed when there wasn't a 2008 cn election

I kinda expected it after they dropped from 50 candidates to 3.

this looks like something adult swim would make.

youtube.com/watch?v=DvY3TwwLq_0

youtube.com/watch?v=QZ0WmbwjRuU

youtube.com/watch?v=fySgWGXOrjE

who did you bet on

>Almost THREE HOURS of original content solely for the entertainment of the ad team/kids and parents that got football enough to get the jokes
the absolute madmen
Also Sylvester, Coyote, and Daffy. Underdogs 4 life

>got john madden to commentate cartoons

jesus christ old CN was GOAT tier

There was also a Tom and Jerry one

>tfw when CN cinema fills up again.

Any reason CN stopped with the election parodys or parodys of other things in general? I mean, I'd like CN bumpers where characters get ready for the olympics or celebrate 4th of July. Did some copyright law get made that makes crossovers even under the same network much harder to make or does viewership drop every time a crossover happens?

fuck, cn used to put so much more effort into their channel

>they fill it up using actual CN Characters and not HB shit

Jesus Christ.

It's expensive to make original content and get the voice actors in and it eats up ad time.

Those HB characters are wholly owned by CN.

Was there a thing on cartoon network to vote for your favorite character? I think there were fliers/posters sent out and you would call in to vote. I can't find anything about it online.

>"Yeah, go sit with the freaks!"
>"Freaks? Have you looked in a mirror?"
Fuckin roasted

I Voted for Ed.

Truly he was a great man for the job.

If only the knew what they were about to unleash when they made these

youtube.com/watch?v=Qlex1wCGBeM

youtube.com/watch?v=S8igsJR2d-s

youtube.com/watch?v=tYyb9h0KfOE

For elections, I'm tempted to just say it was a more innocent time, but 2004 was actually kinda intense when you think about it.

>"I chopped enough wood to last us two weeks."
>"Congratulations Mr. Lincoln. Let me know when you've written your address."

I miss when cartoon characters were smartasses like that.

Those bumps were fucking gold. I haven't seen that since it stopped airing and it gave me a huge smile.

>Cartoon Network Stats
>Other Bad Business Decisions
>Adding Scrappy Doo

Dohoho

YES

>Space Ghost's comment

It's like he knew.

Ah president Ed

the first Canadian President of the USA

He's from Georgia

youtube.com/watch?v=P1CX9DC3tXg
>Daphne gets breast envy
>The censors didn't hack this to shit

>Nice tunic, they sell man clothes where you bought it
Based

>Ed Edd n' Eddy is made in Canada
>was not aired in Canada

Canadians are weird, Eddy.

>that bit where they talk to kids on the playground and they all have unibrows
>Plank crying at litter and forrest fires
>Dystopian smear campaign
This is great shit, why did they stop?

Can the Ed boys beat Duke Phillips?

youtube.com/watch?v=NE6A32m6NQg

Damn, Jimmy started being fucking savage early on.

youtube.com/watch?v=Zm05h63NXM8

The shit they got away with all those years ago is too priceless.

Which one? Total drama? The Brak show? Them all getting the boot for 8 years?

youtube.com/watch?v=14uDR_lbNGM
Day in the life

>Summerall and Madden taking a pot shot at CN's over-reliance on Scooby-Doo reruns at the end of Slyvester vs Tweety.

My sides

There was some anti plank pro ed add that scared the shit out of me as a kid

Try to look up the Cartoon Cartoon Friday where sheep in the big city debuted. Edd and Johnny bravo do the same thing.

>Muttley's crying on the inside
that cut me deep

God I miss these multi-character interactions. Nu-Cartoon Network is so damn boring and even when they try to act like the older cartoon network they just find a way to fuck it up some how.

youtube.com/watch?v=gpopXL2h33U

Nigel is one of the few people to beat Mandy

he's a bamf

This is pretty funny considering it was later confirmed that Number One wants to destroy earth.
>People defended him

youtube.com/watch?v=VhzTBztjZLU

I couldn't stop humming this.

Where would these 3 fit In?

Speaking of Superfriends, how could you not post this classic?
youtube.com/watch?v=-VXRHw9O754

As well as it's sequel? Yes a SEQUEL to a Commercial.
youtube.com/watch?v=hlsYvF8d_d4

>Ice Bear for president

Oh and anyone remember when Scrappy Doo went fucking savage?

youtube.com/watch?v=6juEOmOaYVk

If any of these ads aired today, children would wonder who these guys are

>The interviews ad where people being interviewed have Ed's unibrow
Fucking genius

these bumps are amazing

>Let's fly commercial, it'll be such fun!

I miss these kinds of snarky quips

I remember i'd always mute the channel and turn away from the screen until I thought it was safe

So. if they have another 50 candidate election, who would we rally behind?

an adult in EEnE is so weird to see

this commercial made me think Double D is a girl
