Really? Which battle? Are they gonna clean out the besieged area?

All the rebels shit, South/West/Northwest.
The Siege of Aleppo was the first step, know we all know that FSA/Nusra will try to gather a prominent amount of militants to evade that, so the step 2 in the plan is kill any posibility of FSA/Nusra trying to reconnect with Aleppo's City Rebel Held Area, how do you do this? Killing Khan Touman, Anadan Plains, West Aleppo.
Jordan Watson
well this is my first post so i guess you guys are pretty welcoming.

>do you like your prince? Short answer? No Long answer? He treats the country as his cash machine and doesn't do as he much as he could, in my opinion, hence why he's called the "King of the poor" despite the royal family being one of the richest fortunes in the world
Morocco actually got worse since he took the throne from his father (who was a dictator but knew how to rule the country), and we're in a really dangerous situation right now, with the country's only reliable "income sector" (tourism) fading away
Meanwhile, he's loved by the vast majority of the population thanks to regular publicity stunts from the Makhzen (governing institution ruling the country from the shadows)

>A few months ago, Qatar proposed to the Nusra Front leadership that the group split from Al-Qaida, in exchange for being included in the list of legitimate organizations. In doing so, the group would be able to send representatives to the political negotiations in Geneva. No less importantly, Qatar and Saudi Arabia could then back the Nusra Front financially. >Now “released” by Zawahiri, the Nusra Front can “present its candidacy” to join the list of legitimate organizations and enjoy immunity from U.S. and Russian aerial assaults, operating without fear with the other militias. >haaretz.com/middle-east-news/.premium-1.734333

Are morrocan girls qt as fuck. Also, how could a Hispanic like myself who speaks English and Spanish do with Morrocan girls? Besides the fact that their parents would kill me if they found out?
Logan Richardson
>Now “released” by Zawahiri, the Nusra Front can “present its candidacy” to join the list of legitimate organizations and enjoy immunity from U.S. and Russian aerial assaults, operating without fear with the other militias. First of all, the US and Russia already said that the change of name means nothing, and that the group formerly known as Nusra is still al-Qaeda at heart: Joulani never renounced his bay'a (pledge of allegiance) to Zawahiri, he explictly said that the rebranding was just that, a rebranding. Second of all, Russia has not stopped and will not stop his aerial assaults against Nusra, that's not gonna happen and Nusra and al-Qaeda leadership knows this very well. And finally, Nusra has been operating with other militias without fear since the group's inception, so this changes little in that regard.
If you want a quick analysis on the rebranding, check out pic related by Lister. I know Lister is a Qatari mouthpiece with an extremely punchable face, but sometimes he hits the nail (and also has access to the sources, sometimes directly)

Nobody really cares about him, honestly. Very little is generally revealed about him.
>the little guy looks like a tiny dictator in making I don't think he'd ever reach the level of Hassan II. His reign was called the years of lead for a reason.
Honestly, I think the main reason Hassan II was and still continues to be the most popular Moroccan monarch is that he gave off more of a "Moroccan" vibe than a Royal vibe. He frequently did speeches in Moroccan dialect and French, shouted at and smacked his ministers when they fucked up, smoked during interviews, etc Was also a better politician/strategist than Mohammed VI will ever be
Landon Ramirez

>admire Not really, life is better now, but it was a time where Morocco truly progressed, as opposed to the current stagnation on all levels (political, economical, social)
It was a safer time than now, though, since the state violence was so prevalent against dissidents and criminals that no one wanted to risk doing anything illegal, really a time where you could freely wander in the streets at 2 or 3AM (something unbelievable now)
Blake Russell

Tyler Campbell
>what do you like most about your county? also, what do you like most about your countrymen? Our culture and our hospitality. I'm not going to say Moroccans are tolerant of different cultures (most aren't), but you will always find someone to help you if you're in trouble because that's how the people are.
Family bonds are extremely strong, and you can always count on your kin.
How we still managed to keep our unique arabo-berber culture after living through a century of colonization
I have to admit we'll never succumb to Islamism too because 1) That's not in the nature of the people here and 2) the royal family has a strong hold on the country's politics. I wouldn't say Morocco is secular, but usually you have nothing to risk if you aren't muslim (I've heard some stories of discrimination against Christians, but those cases aren't the norm)
>start a revolution mate The population fucking loves the king through and through Believe me, you'd get lynched for yelling anti-royalist slogans outside Remember a large part of the population isn't interested in politics AT ALL and probably wouldn't believe that starting a revolution would change shit (33% illiteracy rate and an absolutely abysmal public education system)
Besides, after seeing what happened in every country that started a revolution in the Middle East / North Africa recently, even I wouldn't want to take part in any revolution

Also, damn... language instruction here is awful. I know we are the usa, beacon on a hill and all that jazz, but our language instruction truly is awful. If you want to learn a language, you need a private tutor, there is no other way.

was just typing pretty much that. i tried german in High School. i made it past 1 semester and then dropped out to go to work for a living.
Oliver Morales
>If you want to learn a language, you need a private tutor, there is no other way. Eh, it's not like everyone was incredibly fluent in English either. Spanish is also close enough to French that you can understand most stuff after a year or two.

reuters.com/article/us-turkey-security-idUSKCN10A0HH >Erdogan says to close military schools, rein in armed forces > Turkey will shut down its military academies and put the armed forces under the command of the defense minister, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday in a move designed to bring the military under tighter government control after a failed coup. >Erdogan, who narrowly escaped capture and possible death on the night of the coup, told Reuters in an interview last week that the military, NATO's second-biggest, needed "fresh blood". The dishonorable discharges included around 40 percent of Turkey's admirals and generals. >"Our armed forces will be much stronger with the latest decree we are preparing. Our force commanders will report to the defense minister," Erdogan said in an interview on Saturday with A Haber, a private broadcaster. >"Military schools will be shut down... We will establish a national defense university." >He also said he wanted the national intelligence agency and the chief of general staff, the most senior military officer, to report directly to the presidency, moves that would require a constitutional change and therefore the backing of opposition parties. >Both the general staff and the intelligence agency now report to the prime minister's office. Putting them under the president's overall direction would be in line with Erdogan's push for a new constitution centered on a strong executive presidency.

>Is language instruction in the grorious US of A really that bad?
Yes. Language instruction is only taught in the high school level and is only taught for 2 years/semesters. You can go 4, but I have never known anyone that did that. Every person I have known and met that "learned" a second language forgot everything by the time the semester ended. Spanish is the second most popular language here in the usa, but everyone that is fluent either learned it from their parents or a private tutor. You can also learn German, French, and sign language ; but since language instruction is limited to high school, no one ever becomes fluent. It may be different in other schools, but what I stated above is how mist schools in the usa are.
