Was this show any good?

Was this show any good?

It was alright

No.

It wasn't DisneyXD trash.

I dunno, but I want to pull down The Thing's pants and play with hi thing

why is reed hotter than johnny

Does reed sound like a fag in the comics too

Actually, yeah, it's pretty good. Probably the best F4 cartoon, though the bar on that isn't very high.

Because a grown man with a distinguished touch of grey is better than a motormouth hothead any day.

>nobody bothered to tell Ben his pants are unzipped

And the bastards tell him he's family

Who did animate it?

All I remember from this show was Johnny tricking his past self into thinking he was looking into a mirror.

It wasn't perfect, but it honestly had some good episodes and a good Reed.

So are Sue's force fields invisible too?

Yes. Also Ben shits in a grinder

I got to admit the suit designs here look great.

The spray painted 4 on Thing is very urban and i.like it

A stencil spray 4 would make more sense though.

Despite their trying really hard to look like late 80's anime, it was okay.

>hothead
GET

I liked it, but there's a lot of jerky and recycled animation that can get actually annoying

Johnny looks like Martin Mystery here.

One of my favorite cartoons

Pros

>jumping off point is right within the story
>reed kind of a jerkass to everyone (you know, like the real reed)
>doesn't shy away from cosmic shit
>cool designs
>Dat she hulk
>Handles the whole hero celebrities thing quite well

Cons

>Mondo cool rad piece of shit Johnny storm
>will drop action really awkwardly to do some dumb sitcom shit. Tone is really schizophrenic
>animation can be a bit janky
>the backgrounds all suffer from a really empty look. Makes everything a bit less like they gave a shit.

Watch it.

It's a solid effort. Probably the single greatest ff cartoon. But yeah.

I thought it was great. Same crew as EMH.

ironically Sam Vincent voiced Herbie in this.

missed opportunity for him to be Johnny.

OUT

I know a lot of people didn't like the version of Johnny, but I thought he was really funny.

It was written in America, recorded in Canada, and animated in France with a combination of regular 2D animation and some 3D stuff.

It was fun seeing cameos from Iron Man, Ant-Man, Hulk, and Peter Parker

This.

I kinda liked the designs.

Namor was great.

this

>that time a pasty face geek beat Ronan the Accuser with his own weapon because his action figure came with instructions on how to use it

most likable version of Reed Richard ever

I think its really good and actually fun, there are some bad episodes and unfunny moments but its honestly pretty good and adapts the stories in its own style. It would be better if it had actual character and story arcs but its good.

the second season of the 90s cartoon is much better. It has actual character progression and story telling, feels more mature and less like a weekly romp.

Sure Johnny was made dumber and kind of a brat, but I loved it. Cracked me up when he did the Doom impression and tried to name Annihillus.

Yep. Definitely the angry smurf.

I mostly remember this show because by one of the background gags in the bathroom in one episode it implies the Thing literally shit bricks

Yeah. It was Yost, Kyle, and Fine.

Had no clue this existed. Those suits are nice

these version of Johnny reminds me of Martin Mystery

Fun fact: The guy who voiced Reed played the doctor on Arrow a few times and the woman who voiced Lucia Von Bardas in it and Jean in Evolution played the other doctor in the recent Black Canary episode.

I recently found out Joe Kelly wrote the Skrull episode where they impersonate the neighbors, one of my favorites.

She Hulk gif when?

It was the first animated appearance of squirrel girl if I am correct.

I always like when Jen can control her powers and prefer it when she has a secret identity rather than lawyering it up as a green person.

...

Clever girl

unf

>It was written in America, recorded in Canada, and animated in France with a combination of regular 2D animation and some 3D stuff.

So despite the "anime" aesthetic, at no point in production did a single Japanese person ever touch it.

Weeaboo trash, it is!

Definitely one of the best Marvel cartoons

Really enjoyable. Loved the She-Hulk ep, wished we saw more of her.

Thing looks like he got his jean unbuttoned. Very Calvin Klein.

As annoying as Johnny was, at least the writers highlighted the fact that he was a little shit. I'd say that the episode where Diablo gave Johnny evil magic powers is one of my favourites of that show, if only because it showed that Johnny's v/a had some range.
As much as I love the 90's cartoon, I'd say WGH runs it a close second.

...

No.

no

He had one of my all time favorite jokes in that She-Hulk episode.

>I am here to save you!
>Uh, we're not actually in danger.
>Then my work here is done.

Puts a smile on my face every time.

Also him screaming like a little girl when Jen transforms is pretty funny too.

no he sounds kinda like a mix between a smart asshole and a semi decent person

Evil Johnny was an interesting episode. I liked how the show experimented with ideas like that.

>So despite the "anime" aesthetic, at no point in production did a single Japanese person ever touch it.

Not true. Reed's voice actor was Hiro Kanagawa.

That's actually how it originally was.

>Probably the single greatest ff cartoon
not exactly a super big running there

I remember the commercials on CN back then but I don't think I've ever seen an episode
I still remember the theme.

I only remember the episode where Namor suddenly tries to invade the surface world

Dat Sue tho

Johnny was hot in there so its good

>you will never fuck Jennifer Walters and have her turn into She-Hulk just as you come inside

Because he's taller and you're a fag whore for height

Post more She Hulk from this show you filthy animals

My favorite voice cast for them was from this show, and I was entertained watching it...so yeah, I think so.

It had the best version of She-Hulk.

>Asian Reed

I can't tell if this is weird or fantastic

Either way, I really like it for some reason

I believe the correct term is "ouiaboo"

Johnny was great. He was a smug asshole. But a likable smug asshole. And I got the feeling he was smarter than he made himself out to be. He just wanted to be cool.

Well, he sounded fine and was supposed to be white. The only thing that kind of bothered me about the show which I thought was amazing was that they made Alicia and Puppet Master black, but I guess it was because they were playing off of the movie that was happening at the same time. So not that big of a deal I guess. Show was still really fun. Wish there were more than 26 episodes. VA was top tier.

> animated in France
Which they also outsourced mostly to an Indian animation company.
Also, having the show animated in France explains why the lip-sync was so goddamned floaty, and why scenes would awkwardly cut to another scene just as a person was talking.

Season 2 probably would have had the Inhumans, Surfer, Galactus, Psycho-Man, and Black Panther.

I like the OP.

"Mark my words cretins. My vengeance shall be huge. Like the size of my head. My brilliance is unparalleled. Yet I always lose. For I am Doom!!!- What? That's what he's like."

hard to tell since comics are meant to be read and not listened to.

And why Thing looks like a monster of the week from CyberSix.

Ahahah! Bumbumbumbumbumbum! Babah. Babah!!!
