in 2004 probably
His first actual election (2000) was mostly legitimate.
Every time. Navalny is a retard.
How much legitimate voices can be spoken for long
But according to the constitution, he can again be elected to the presidency.
You should change your Constitution then. After FDR, we officially made it impossible for presidents to run longer than 2 terms.
Didn't Putin change the constitution because there already was a limitation?
>russia
>legitimacy
yellow_man_laughing.jpg
It's only illegitimate if somebody stops you.
What's gonna happen when he dies? My bet is another oligarch fills his spot.
It doesen't matter who wins the elections beacuse Russia is still controlled by ZOG
I doubt there are any intelligent Russians left
>t. greek economist
That or a FSB agent takes his spot. Or maybe Khadyrov (the Chechen guy) becomes president.
Either way, Putin dying will probably lead to a fuck-ton of internal conflict as all rich people try to kill each other for more power. They have no post-Putin plan and the guy is like 65 already.
astrophysicist
...
Almost certainly a Putin crony. Russia is going to be in disarray once Putin dies because the country is basically his kingdom and there's no real leadership besides him.
>Russia’s broadly approve of Putin but disapprove of the direction their country is headed
How does this work?
I saw a documentary about how the propaganda there distances Putin's image from the Russian government more generally and especially other Russian politicians.
I don't know, do you think Americans like Trump and the way America's heading?
What?
Article 81 in the Constitution of the Russian Federation was adopted as early as 1993
literally every single one
Yes especially as more and more people stop believing the media and the Russia narrative
It's hilarious how Putin got his lawyer to successfully run for president once his term limit expired. This is not something that would happen in any Western country.
I think his approval rating is like 35%
Most Americans have low approval ratings of both. 80% approval ratings for any president is unheard of.
Our former Prime Ministers just get a job at Shell.
>approval rating
TOPPEST fucking kek, you sad fucks just refuse to learn.
Tell the Dutch Royal jews to stop gouging prices at their gas stations
Trump is breaking records with how low his approval ratings are.
Learn what drumpfy? That his approval rating is low? Or is that just fake news?
Although they is no limit to how often you can get reelected.
Our current prime minister has been elected 3 times. The one before that 4 times. The one before that 2 times. The one before that 3 times. The one before that 3 times..
Are these done by the same people that gave Hilary a 95% chance of winning
Chapter 4. The President of the Russian Federation
Article 81

3. One and the same person may not be elected President of the Russian Federation for more than two terms running.
4. The rules of electing the President of the Russian Federation shall determined by the federal law.

>Another Trumptard can't read
Every major poll had the placement at 48-52 with a 4.8% margin of error
Guess what Trump won by? Exactly within that margin.
I know you Trump lovers tend to be 9th grade drop outs and charts are hard to understand, but they often explain these concepts in the articles.
Not a single publication gave Hilary more than 56% chance. Why am I not surprised the Trump shill doesn't understand the difference between individual polls and aggregates?
Those would be? Because the New York times and/or Washington post had Hilary at 95%
No, they didn't. You dumb fuck, learn what aggregation is.
You're Betsy DeVos' wet dream for American education standards.
>mostly legitimate
Did he only have a few opponents murdered?
>Hating on DeVos
Top kek. The Public education system here sucks ass and needs a kick in the ass. Everything else you posted is nonsense as you have no proof and resort to posting memes and bile
Is this the first election you’ve ever witnessed? It was unprecedented, and Trump won due to a perfect storm of various factors.
Ever since Reagan redefined the electoral map in the 80s, every election since had reliable red states, blue states, and swing states without much surprise for nearly 3 decades. Hillary was an enormously weak Democratic candidate and allowed a populist like Trump to penetrate what was once a reliably democratic voting wall for democrats in the rust belt, and surprised everyone.
I voted for Trump, but I wouldn’t vote for him again if the Democrats put up anything less than a retard.
No my first election was in 1984. And unless the dems get their act together all your going to get is another weak candidate. Especially as they aren't even pretending to support the working class white anymore
If I had to imagine the anti-Christ then I'd probably imagine Hillary Clinton.
Trump won because he was the only candidate promising to bring manufacturing jobs back to the rust belt. Obongo, Clinton, McCain, and Romney wouldn't make that promise because they knew it wasn't possible. Trump outright lied to them, and that electorate will turn on him in 2020 when he hasn't delivered, assuming he doesn't get impeached first.
Keep digging that hole man. Don't provide a proper answer and try to push away your ignorance or your realization you're a fucking retard with insults.
Wew lad the irony is strong in this post
The Democrats just need to put up basically anyone EXCEPT Hillary and they have the election in the bag. Republicans have been losing congressional seats in states that are hard red territory.
Most Americans do not like Trump. Even if the media exaggerated his faults a lot, his Twitter shenanigans are perpetually annoying to every middle of the road voter.
2004, yes.
Until his policies and economic improvements start kicking in. Something like 143 million americans are going to have to pay in taxes do to his tax plan
Look at his approval ratings, they aren't fake. I'm not denying voter fraud on some occasions but it's not like it has changed the outcome of the election
That's also not talking about the fact that the democrat party isn't the same as it was when I was 18 and no longer pretends to care about anything but power.
>Something like 143 million americans are going to have to pay in taxes do to his tax plan
I DONT WANNA PAY MORE I DONT WANNA PAY MORE I DONT WANNA PAY MORE FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK
Sorry pay less
>president do good job
>people vote again for him
>u r mad
yes.
Putin obviously isn't doing a good job if people think the country he's ran for almost 30 years now is going in the wrong direction
Here's another poll
By 2027 most Americans will be paying more.
This is stuff that would have been achieved under any Republican President. Trump’s best accomplishments have been things that were set in stone as long as a Republican won.
gaz yourself
And another one. These were carried out by western polling agencies who are generally seen as credible and have absolutely no connections with Russian politicians whatsoever, so you can't call them fake
I don't think so as the modern Republican party are just out for power too.
>expire after 2025
And who are the dumb asses paying taxes making under 13 thousand a year?
Putin is a great leader but Russian democracy and its establishment isn't mature enough to produce a steady stream of likeminded leaders, like America and other stable democracies do, so you have to rule with a bit of an iron first and rally all corners of Russian society behind one vision and create the political climate to facilitate and perpetuate it. Putin and his party has done a good job so far but, again, Russia is volatile. Another force could come along and drag Russia in another direction, then another force, and another. Such lack of direction could even become an existemtial threat if things go really bad. Russia needs stability and a long-term strategy.
Westerners are too spoiled with stability to understand the importance of it and are currently throwing it all away by latching onto polarizing forces in their countries.
China is similar, it might not be a beacon of human rights but the stability it has enjoyed in recent decades is what has allowed it to prosper and succeed.
Putin has to make sure things can go on without him or even his party around for the sake of Russia.
How delusional are Russians? Putin’s fuckery in Crimea and Ukraine has set the country back by at least 10 years. He managed to not only get the US to push for economic sanctions, but also the EU.
Putin has wiped out an entire generation of economic and diplomatic progress in the country.
Most of them will always be below the poverty line, regardless of economic prosperity. They don't care if the country goes down the toilet. When you're at rock bottom, it can't get any worse.
>Putin has wiped the last generation of economic and diplomatic progress in the country.*
Look at Russia's demography, this is their last chance and they're squandering it.
They'll be fine so long as they keep importing more central asian MEN to breed their women and boipuccis.
Chretien, Mulroney, and Trudeau Senior went back into private law practice. Harper isn't a lawyer, but he is now employed as a "consultant" for a firm that deals in international law. I'm not sure what Trudeau Junior will do once he gets turfed from office. Maybe he will go back to teaching snowboarding in BC?
Russia's economic growth was China-tier during Putin's first two terms so they liked him since the very beginning. He also kinda fixed the demographic disaster of the 90s, he was seen as the anti-Yelstin. The economy slowed down during his 3rd term so he re-invented himself and focussed more on Russia's role in international affairs, he took a harsh stance on Nato's expansion and cucked the west in Crimea and Syria, so Russians see him as a strong man who doesn't make compromises with his enemies whereas Westerners see him as an aggressor
Much of the reason Hillary lost the last election is because people didn’t like the whole nepotism thing. Bush Jr narrowly won the 2000 election, but his father was only a 1 term mostly irrelevant president, and when his brother tried to run, Trump grilled and ridiculed him so hard that it actively helped him win the primaries because everyone liked to see Jeb humiliated.
How exactly does he keep getting away with it?
What does he do that makes bydlos so complacent?
Every single one of Putin's election wins has been legitimate.
He has a ridiculously high approval rating that has been reproduced and confirmed by even American pollsters.
A lot of westerners generally believed Putin was a decent leader too until the last several years. Many Americans felt more sympathy for Russia than the US in foreign policy and kind of thought we were being oppressors more than them.
But then Putin showed his true color in the last few years.
>One and the same person may not be elected President of the Russian Federation for more than two terms running.
Explain Putin
Are you talking about the morons that'd call up NPR crying about how they want the U.S.S.R back because they were a good counterweight to the U.S
>Much of the reason Hillary lost the last election is because people didn’t like the whole nepotism thing
Yeah ok, sure. Because that was sure solved with Trump
What strong candidates could the democrat party even put up?
Biden?
Manchin?
Booker?
The Rock??
Please no Elizabeth Warren or Kamala Harris, that's a one way ticket into a defeat for the democrat party.
You're right.
I ain't sure if anything can be done to revive the rust belt.
>How exactly does he keep getting away with it?
>Someone points it out
>They end up tragically slipping out their 15th story balcony and accidentally intercepting 3 bullets in the back of the head on the way down.
You can get away with absolutely anything when you have the entire populace to brainwashed they would call lies if Putin straight up admitted to killing people.
Get rid of NAFTA and penalize companies for paying chinks pennies and then charging an arm and leg for cheap products that break in a year
They'll run Hillary's daughter and she'll run against Jeb Bush.
But NAFTA is benefiting you guys.
Well Putin wasn't president from 2008-12 but Medvededev has more or less his puppet
Yes and while he did brake international law by annexing Crimea most of this Putin hysteria in the West has become absolutely ridiculous, in my opinion. He is not the antichrist, but not an angel either
No NAFTA benefits people like Clinton and their cronies. It absolutely fucked over the middle class
>He has a ridiculously high approval
This is to be expected when Putin controls the media and judiciary. Try to think outside the box for once you stupid fucking shart.
I don't get the putin hate lately, Russia was getting good until the USA sanctioned them
Hard to imagine people can be this stupid.
Explain to me how any of his election wins haven't been legitimate, please.
You can't. When even American pollsters confirm his high approval rating, it's because the majority of Russian citizens approve of him. As a result, he will win every election he enters. Are you fucking stupid?
all i know is that the soviets won American Idle for many seasons
It`s definitely not good enough if the country can`t get on under enemy sanctions.
"Hey, tovarishi, a group of american pollsters will be making some researches here and there. You need to go there and pretend to be a random street-walkers so they can ask you questions on which you will give the right answers. Any questions? Yes, no need to harm them. Yes, it's paid, also you will get a three-day vacation".
burgers really are the stupidest life forms on Earth.

Journalists in Russia get shot for writing anything against Putin. How the fuck are people supposed to make informed decisions at the ballot box in that situation?
So he's like the queen
Every single election he's participated in probably.
His approval has always been high
Two CONSECUTIVE terms.
It's the same in Russia
en.wikipedia.org
The Russian Federation has a rule for the head of state that allows the President of Russia to serve more than two terms if not consecutive (as in the case of Vladimir Putin).
>You should change your Constitution then
So should your country. Get rid of the second amendment already.
Why do you people post outside of Sup Forums?
So
Putin

Medvedev
>2007-2012
Putin
>2012-2020
Who will lead Russia 2020-2024? Medvedev again?
