100% AGREED, EBONY!!!
FIGHTFOR$15
Or alternatively, you could try to move up in either your store or the company. If you're not a manager after 10 years then that's pretty pathetic.
Too bad you're a nigger.
always funny when poor pieces of trash like you actively campaign to keep your fellow poor workers down and opt to support for the rich billionaires who are trying to fuck you over. unless you are a 1% billionaire you have no argument against fellow workers getting $15 an hour.
>I deserve to be paid more because I've been cutting and boxing pizzas for a decade. Even though I perform the same tasks as 10 years ago, I deserve much more compensation because GIBS ME DAT
>Working minimum wage job for 10 years ever trying to raise above your station
There is a reason some people will always be poor
Holy Shit. I thought that was a man.
10 years at Papa John's and "she" isn't a manager of the store? Or at least assistant Manager?
If you can't attain some level of management at Papa John's after 10 years of working there, you probably don't deserve a raise simply for the fact you haven't achieved anything or do anything some idiot off the street couldn't do with an hours worth of training.
You do realize that they will start using robots if min wage goes to 15$ it would be cheaper and they'd only need 1 or 2 people
You don't have to like and approve of the greedy billionaires to realize how dumb these minimum wage babbys are.
corporate stores cut asst manager positions to save money with more part timers...shift managers still get around $9 an hour and less that 30 hours a week
>get $15/hr minimum wage
>get replaced by machine that can do job twice as well for free
I guess it doesn't matter. People in minimum wage jobs are going to be replaced by machines in the next 2 decades whether the minimum wage is raised or not.
i make 15-20/hr as a papa johns delivery driver with tips
I agree.... after many years of work and dedication to certain company as a minwage worker you should be getting better pay.
NOT when you start.
>Work 90 days for Home Depot
>Get healthcare, dental, optics, daycare, counseling, life insurance, college reimbursement and more.
It was easy. I just looked at my options and applied.
It's also my first job. If a bearded fat autist that stutters and shakes can get a job there, anyone that can lift 30 pounds can.
pedestrians have the right of way, so if i walk in front of a truck it makes me mad when I get run over
Stop spending all your money on kush, swisher sweets, Hennessy, play$tation 4s, and wagon wheels for your car first.
He's making 9 dollars an hour the past 10 years. My last 3 jobs I started higher than that.
It's called not accepting the first piece of trash job that comes your way. you can leave at any time.
What if the majority of your paycheck goes towards the basic necessities of life such as food and housing?
How are you supposed to move up without enough money for an education, etc?
Don't tell me you actually think he's supposed to have moved on up within Papa Johns itself? If you believe that any franchise owner won't just shitcan someone immediately (thank you at-will USA! USA! USA!) when they ask for a raise and hire and train one of the hundred other guys desperate for a McJob you're dense as fuck.
That actually sounds dope. Good on Home Depot if its true.
Being there 10 years. It's called initiative.
Apparently she can afford to not be at work and go to degenerate protests shit talking the job that has been supporting her ass for 10 yearsold
$15 an hour won't change her terrible spending habits.
I have to wait a year for healthcare but get college reimbursement right of the bat for UPS.
When your minimum wages go up to $15 an hour expect massive inflation on all goods. You will be worse off in almost every scenario... We routinely pay over twice (exchange rate adjusted) for pretty much everything in Aus over the US...
cool story bro
Home Depot offers a fuckton of benefits.
You also get a discount on the stocks once a year, a decent 401K plan, and a nice bonus at the end of the year if your store meets or exceeds sales for the fiscal year.
The only downside is that promotions and pay raise is almost entirely based on seniority. Though for someone like OP's pic, those 10 years would have landed them a few pay raises, plenty of benefits, and most likely full time, on the road to a salaried job if they committed to it.
Papa Johns is a dead end job. There's no way around it, he's a kike owner and revels in pissing on his employees. If I had to choose between no job or Papa Johns (Aside from Delivery because that nets you tips) I'd go jobless.
I heard about that, have a buddy that got into UPS just for that.

At UPS he'd be making 20+ dollars an hour and be only a few years away from full-time. Most people (non-full time) at UPS have two jobs or are also drug dealers or something to supplement income.
>I deserve a living wage for working a job meant for people without skills who don't pay rent
Sure you do, Trashwan.
An instant increase in the minimum wage to $15 US won't do that. It'll end up increasing buying power for minimum wage workers for a decent amount of time imo
The longer term problem is that we're getting to a point where minimum wage jobs won't be needed. Go into McDonalds, press button on vending-machine like thing, pay using wireless phone thing, robot makes your order for you in 1/4th of the time it would take a human and serves it to you
What do we do when we get to that point? Because that isn't post scarcity or anything, it'll just be droves of people who can't work.
No students working to save up for college or anything.
literally what is inflation
Yeah it's dope(the college stuff, sux that I have to wait til september to get healthcare). I've been going to CC since spring but I'm gonna actually sign up for UPS's reimbursement this coming monday.
Most the guys I work with have trucks and do hauling during the day for the local ranches, and at night do freight. Pretty good cash between the two, especially with the benefits.
We also have barbecues and donuts at 2 in the morning every other week.
Glad to hear UPS give sit's employees a chance to climb the ladder.
Fantastic stuff. Couple that reimbursement with other programs you can apply for and they'll be paying you to go to college in no time.
and black people dont unionise
they fail to collectivise in any meaningful way
hence chimp out
white people collectivise, unoinise and are currently dying out
hence the point of western civilisation is to ultimately breed the perfect slave, just enough white genes to do modern technology and non white ones so you lack all collective empathy.
>machine does the job for free
