The Winter Soldier > Civil War > The First Avenger.

"Civil War" was great, but Iron Man hogged the spotlight quite a bit. "The Winter Soldier" was tighter and more focused on Cap and his journey.

CW > TWS > TFA

A perfect example of 3 > 2 > 1

Civil War. All the Cap movies been my favorite from each phase. First one's not as great as the other two but has Cap punching Hitler.

TWS > Civil War > TFA

I think they're all great though, my top 3 MCU movies. They're all very rewatchable and I never found Cap 1 boring like some do. I'm a sucker for WW2 settings and even if the second half is weaker that the first, it's still good in my opinion.

/thread

By far "The First Avenger". It's the only one that actually looks and functions like a film. Both The Winter Soldier and Civil War are far more reminiscient of network procedurals than anything else.

Cap is the only character in the MCU who's never had a bad solo movie.

TFA is a solid 7/10, the second half is a bit rushed but otherwise a really good introduction to a character no one thought could be done right in movies.

TWS is almost a 10/10 I'd say. Outside of Bucky being slightly marginalized, it's very polished. The dialogue is great, the action is perfect, and the plot is water-tight.

Civil War is a an easy 8.5/10. It almost feels bloated but is somehow able to juggle all it's mainstay characters, introduce new ones like Black Panther and Spider-Man, and also still feels like it is Cap's story. The airport scene is literally the best shit since the climatic fight in The Avengers, and the movie is willing to be more subtle with its characters and their interactions than any MCU movie since Iron Man 1.

Only a peak pleb would think Civil War is better than TWS.

this. I loved WS, but man, something about CW that resonated with me that much more. And it wasn't just the airport fight.

Civil War was good but calling it a solo movie is debatable. It was an Avengers movie in everything but name.

Outside the airport fight it has right tone for a cap movie
>Not a single one has a happy ending
Damn.

I didn't realize that until now.

Not even Thunderbolt Ross or Everett Ross. The former has to deal with Tony and the latter was just told by Zemo.

Zemo smiled, but he knows he's fucked up, at least for a while.

Falcon and Cap smiled at each other but they are on the run, same goes for team cap + nat.

Team iron man is now half robot and morale is down.

Bucky survived but has to be put on ice, Cap saved his buddy but then lost him again.

Damn.

Because TWS is the one that tried to have it's own identity beyond just another superhero movie and played out more as a spy thriller.

More solo cape movies should take a chapter from TWS and Deadpool and should try to differentiate themselves more and have a bit of individuality.

>nat.
Where is she anyway? solo movie?

Probably on the run with team Cap, or hid with Fury.

They didn't show where Wanda, Scott, Clint, Falcon, Cap or Nat went to.

Presumably some of those are on the run with Cap fighting crime low budget and whatnot, Falcon definitely, but they probably didn't commit to a definite team so they can properly choose for the next one. But they might as well all be with Cap for the time being.

Ant-Man should get resolution in the next one and Wanda might have a post-credits scene with Dr. Strange or something if they want to.

Winter '70' Soldier by far, too bad it wasn't a good film

Can't fool me, 1.jpg guy.

Motherfucker leveled up.

>Civil War
Why would you include an Avengers movie?

TWS > TFA

CW > Avengers > AoU

Cap 1 > Cap 2 > Civil War
Any other answer is pleb shit

>Any other answer is pleb shit
No, it isn't.

This, everyone ended up inside by the end of CW.

TWS > CW > power gap > TFA
All still good movies though.

Kek, where does that pic come from?

It really wasn't though.

>Not a single one has a happy ending
Black Panther was kinda happy at the end.

"Deadpool" was a pretty straightforward superhero movie with an extra layer of dick jokes, bro.

"Deadpool" was just a prank, bro.

Spider-Man does, ironically.

Fuck, everyone is pretty much unhappy by the end. Bucky's still brainwashed but is working against it, the entirety of Steve's team are on the run (it's probably worse for Scott and Clint since they're probably separated from their families), Vision has to deal with the fact that he likes his waifu but can't express himself, Rhodey is a cripple and Tony's probably going to drink himself to death.

Such a cute kitten. 10/10 would protect at all costs.

His dad is dead and he's still forced into the role of king and a lifetime of service to the country way earlier than he would've liked.

Your husbando is shit.

Some con over the weekend

Cap really didn't feel like the main character. The movie did suffer having introduced characters and their problems being more interesting than cap and his shenanigans.

Nah they got busted out at the end remember? When Cap came up to them and Falcon gave the gay nod of approval?

It's not like that's going to change much.
The damage is done.

TWS had the best Bucky, so TWS.

He's mostly a guy who reacts to things, but it did feel like he wasn't really in charge most of the movie and it was more Tony.

>you will never comfort Wanda with your dick

His shutdown of Zack Snyder was top notch though.

I would'n even try.
She's weird.

The Force Awakens?? wtf bro, didn't you read the title?

I haven't been this satisfied with a trilogy since Lord of the Rings and Winter Soldier feels like a modern Empire Strikes Back.

And dat ending credits theme.
Anyway 2>3>1, but all movies enjoyable.

I am pretty confident that I will never get to comfort anyone with my dick so one fictional person is not that big of a difference.

TWS. Only movie that felt fairly complete. The other two were also good but TFA was basically a two-hour preview for Avengers and Civil War was basically like if you ended the story on TESB.

Grumpiest cat

The story is not over, the ensembles add on to the stories.
Iron Man 3 didn't end Iron Man's story, and Cap 3 didn't end Cap's.

Iron Man 3 was set up to work as a conclusion in case RDJ didn't come back for AOU. Civil War ends with Cap retiring but actively leaves you hanging on everyone else. Bucky going to sleep is absolutely not going to last. Wakanda is absolutely going to get invaded in the near future. The other members of Team Cap are going to still keep popping up in other movies. Zemo will probably reappear in the future, whether it's a Thunderbolts or Masters of Evil film. And so on.

THIS

Civil War was good.
Sure, it wasn't a TWS sequel per-se, but it gives me faith in Infinity War.

And with a hug?

Anyone have the full-size pic?

No point unless you like fat fangirls

|:3

I want her to hug my dick with the walls of her vagina.

Wow lewd.
That's not a choice pham, try again.

I can handle it

Her facial expressions during that one scene with cooking with Vision were 2cute4me. Really looking forward to Civil War Webms.

here ya go

Thank you!

TFA started off very good, but i felt like the second half was rushed. i didnt like they laser guns, would have preferred cap face off against some kickass steam punk looking zola creations. also i dont remember seeing any nazi armbands or flags. ww2 movie with no nazis? wtf. when you think about it, the movie was really saved by chris evans performance esp. in the first half.

winter soldier is just good. civil war is good too but not enough cap and too many plot holes.

2 > 3 >> 1

That seems to be the most common opinion. I loved the first half and everything was fucking great. The Howling Commandos bit felt really unfocused though and most of the movie after the scene with Tommy Lee Jones and Zola is kind of a blur. If you asked me they should've spent most of the time with Cap fighting on the Valkyrie and the HYDRA soldiers having the Commandos with him and saving Bucky's "death" for the third act similar to the comics.

TWS was the best Cap Movie.
CW was the best Avengers Movie.

He looks like he's stoned in this pic.

>tfw Civil War was basically everything I wish AOU had
Too bad based Quickslav didn't live to make it to this one, it would've been glorious.

this

This is exactly what I have been thinking since I saw CW the second time. TWS remains GOAT capeshit flick for me.

I can get behind this. Well said.
