Can someone explain to me why the economic development of Indian states does not correlate with skin colour, as it does with most other countries?
I have read about differences in skin colour with regards to the caste system, but I am still unsure as to why states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala (+ Sri Lanka when considering their genetic similarities) end up so developed. And also why Pakistan/Afghanistan are comparatively underdeveloped.
Northern Indians are dirty, superstitious, inbred, low IQ, violent subhumans

North Indian states are poor for the same reasons why many Eastern European countries are poor. Its a largely agrarian and ultra-conservative society. While, sothern states have a history of maritime trade and are used to foreign cultures.

>why the economic development of Indian states does not correlate with skin colour, as it does with most other countries t. brainlet

Modi is an economically illiterate retard with a fake degree. lol no. India is notorious for fudging GDP figures. Countries like Bangladesh and Vietnam will have a much better future than Indian thanks to their booming Manufacturing industry.

Why do people on Sup Forums hate India so much? Even Sup Forums is more respectful
Zachary Lopez
it's the end result of european fuckery
some regions got shafted, others didn't

seems like street shitting is mostly an east indian disorder, excluding bengalis and those eastern states which are mostly non indian ethnically
Charles Carter
>Even Sup Forums is more respectful The only reason Sup Forums tolerates India is because Modi and his right wing fanbois dream about genociding muslims, like he did in 2002. In reality, India replaced a Cambridge and Oxford educated PM with a hindu nationalist simpleton.
Jaxon Fisher
Indians love him though, and the economy is doing great. Fuck off you imbecile
Lucas Cooper
that's because Sup Forums has the meme flags were Indians can pretend to not be Indian and roleplay as respectful individuals towards India.
Liam Perry
I don't believe those stats. Show me a source

>Indians love him though, No shit. 3rd world countries love authoritarian strongmen who promise miracles. >and the economy is doing great retarded policies like demonetization and lack of reforms in the manufacturing sector have started to take a toll on their economy. India has a government program that gives people toilets. Problem is they don't like using them.
Liam Wright
i don't want to be pedantic but having a toilet doesn't mean the population is using them. you don't just build a toilet and say that you've fixed open defecation when people don't use it.
David Cox
I hope that's true, but it sounds too good to be real.

Because almost everywhere else in the world (notably excluding East Asia) a lighter skin tone indicates a higher degree of European admixture.
Andrew Wright
But it does correlates in India, and still the southern, less-euro admixed states are better off

That doesn't mean anything. 70000 people got laid off earlier this year. Agriculture on which 605 population depends is in the fucking dump. More people are losing jobs than gaining them.

I think it has to do with the caste system in northern India being older. The Brahmins obviously have all the genes for intelligence while the casteless have genes for pooping on the streets and begging. The latter make up the majority of Indians.

africa had some of the required conditions but lacked a lot of the others which made progress impossible the middle east had more, which is why society did develop there

William Ramirez
The book isn’t wrong it’s uncomplete because the main factor of progress is culture We humans live in a world of ideas It’s Europe’s ideas that allowed them to do get on top, nothing else
Justin Flores
And what about Africa today? They have been in touch with European society for almost half a millennium and yet most of them still struggle to grow their own food. And before you say "oppression", most of the continent has seen nothing but foreign investment for the past 50 years and has only deteriorated.
And then you have the Americas where the environment was particularly conducive, but still they were thousands of years behind before colonisation.
Noah Ramirez
Friendly reminder that the most developed state in India has been dominated by the communist party since the 1960s.
Nolan Jenkins
>And then you have the Americas I’ll stop you right there. First of all, civilizations did develop you stupid shit. Second of all, not having horses or any animals capable of work was a massive barrier.

Nathan Anderson
The book has heavily been criticized by historians and anthropologists particularly for the environment factor and broad generalizations you are arguing for.
Anthropologist Jason Antrosio describes Guns, Germs, and Steel as a form of 'academic porn'. Diamond’s account makes all the factors of European domination a product of a distant and accidental history and has almost no role for human agency–the ability people have to make decisions and influence outcomes. Europeans become inadvertent, accidental conquerors. Natives succumb passively to their fate. "Jared Diamond has done a huge disservice to the telling of human history. He has tremendously distorted the role of domestication and agriculture in that history. Unfortunately his story-telling abilities are so compelling that he has seduced a generation of college-educated readers."
And it's core is basically a 19th century theory used as proof for eugenics.
Maybe coast lines that were long associated with trade and shiet (including trade outposts) plus maritime resources are more developed than inner regions.
That Kerala region get a lot of revenue remmitances according to some Indian anons from people working overseas specially in some gulf arab countries and bringing the money home.
